Director
Austin CivatteAustin (he/they) is an experimental live performance artist and director, and has been an active supporter of the ATXtheatre community from a young age. As founder of Speedrun, he is committed to uplifting creative young voices from across the city he loves, and is so very proud of his many boatmates taking this journey along with him.
Asst. Director / Movement Coach
Clint LienauClint (he/him) is super excited to be joining another Speedrun project! A member of the Board of Directors, Clint worked previously on Impending Pasts and served as the fight choreographer for The Lightning Thief. He hopes you enjoy watching all these manly men face the deadly twists and turns of the river.
Stage Manager
Gabriel TyborGabriel (they/them) has been behind the scenes for several productions including She Loves Me and Spamalot at Central Texas Theatre. Gabriel is so excited to be stage managing Men On Boats as this is their first time not being an assistant. Thank you to Michelle, Tara, and Sequoia for preparing me for this moment!
Set Designer
Jadan RodriguezJadan (he/him) has been an avid theatre enthusiast for many years and has worked on shows for local theaters as a technician since his early high school days. He hopes to one day become an engineer who can both work in the renewable energy industry while also maintaining a strong connection to theatre.
Sound Designer
Nathan CrewsNathan (he/him) is a freshman Radio, TV, and Film major at the University of Texas at Austin, and is very excited to be in working with Speedrun Studios! Most Recently, he was heard as the Sound Designer for the University Theatre Guild’s (UTG) original production of A Mind of My Own. Nathan would like to give a shoutout to UTG and his father for their support.
Lighting Designer
Erin CourtneyErin (she/her) is a senior at Westlake high school, and will be pursuing lighting design as a career in chicago once she is graduated. She has worked with Speedrun Studios since “The Lightning Thief” and is so proud and excited of how far this company has grown.
Prop Master
Christina DoveChristina (she/her) is a performer and technician in Austin. She’s worked with Cheerful Secrets and Walking Shadow Shakespeare. She thanks you all for coming to the show!
Costume Designer
Noah SanchezNoah (he/him) is a current student at Austin Community College where he is pursuing an AAS in technical theatre with a specialization in costume technology and make-up artistry. He has previously worked with Speedrun Studios on The Lightning Thief and can’t wait to make a splash with the cast and crew of Men on Boats!
Set Crew
Preston GalbanPreston (he/him) is a local theatre professional who is excited to be working with Speedrun once again! When not on a stage himself Preston is likely found somewhere behind one, building sets and choreographing fights. He brought characters to life on the stage during his time at Concordia University Texas in shows like Tartuffe, Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), and 14. Most recently he portrayed Chiron/Poseidon/Hades in Speedrun Studios' The Lightning Thief.
Asst. PM/Run Crew
Maryam ZafarMaryam (she/her) is a current UT student who is extremely passionate about theatre. She has been a part of McNeil High School’s Zombie Prom and Mamma Mia, as well as tech for Speedrun Studios’ The Lightning Thief. She is excited to broaden her theatre experience with Speedrun!
