Grease: School Version Cast

Danny (Todd Durantini)
Todd Durantini Jr. (Lead) is returning to the Spartan Stage for his 4th year. Todd has been involved with Spartan Stage both onstage and off over his 4 years and is also the lighting designer for Spartan Stage Junior at Pine Grove. Todd has previously had roles in past shows such as Mamma Mia! (Ensemble), Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (Del Delmanico) and has done crew work for The Dining Room, Clue On Stage, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and All I Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten. He is in Chorale, on the Varsity Soccer team and a member of the Video Club. Todd is a Senior. “I am very thankful for sports in my life because it may be competitive but at the end of the day you are doing it with your friends and practically a second family.”
Sandy (Grace Caccamo)
Grace Caccamo is returning to Spartan Stage with this production. Previously, she has been involved in Stories from Radioland (Betty and Lucille Ball), Mamma Mia!, Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Breaking Up is Hard to Do. She has also done props for Clue and All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. She is a member of the ESM Chamber Choir. Grace is a Senior. “I would like to thank Mr. Brandon for showing me that theatre is more than getting on stage and performing, but creating a family that lasts forever no matter what.”
Kinickie (Aiden O’Brien )
Aiden O’Brien is returning to the stage after performing in Getting to Know Footloose (Ren), Elf Jr. (Buddy), and James and the Giant Peach (James). He is a member of the Chamber Choir and is on the Track and Cross Country teams. He is a Sophomore. “I'd like to thank my parents for driving me everywhere I need and supporting me for all of my clubs. I'd also like to thank Mrs. Currier for teaching me to tie a tie and Mrs. Labatos for helping me to grow as an actor and a singer. Of course I would like to thank Mrs. deBerjeois, Mrs. Cramer Walter, the cast, and everyone behind the scenes for making this show amazing!”
Roger (Ryan Sullivan)
Ryan Sullivan's favorite shows he has performed in were Shrek (Donkey), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Aladdin (Jafar), Lion King (Simba), and many others. He participates in Winter Percussion, Choir and is on the Basketball Team. He is a Freshman. “I would like to thank my mom because she has got me places when basketball and the musical are at the same time she really pushes herself so she gets me where I need to be.”
Rizzo (Hyacinth Labatos)
Hyacinth Labatos - is a Sophomore and this is his third production with Spartan Stage. Previously, he was a member of the Paradise Quintet in Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, the Narrator in Everything I Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten and most recently the Fall production of Stories of Radioland (Announcer, Popsicle Pete). He has been in several other productions with Encore Youth Productions. Hyacinth participates in Choir, Chamber Choir, and assists at his mom’s co-owned theatre company, Encore Youth Productions. He is a Sophomore. “I would like to thank my Mom for all she has taught me in my theatre and singing experience. I would also like to thank Mrs. Currier, Mrs. deBerjeois, and Mr. Brandon for the same. I would like to thank Mrs. Cramer-Walter and Ms. Just for all I've learned in my dance experience. Last but not least, I'd like to thank my dad for teaching me how to organize, manage, and maintain all aspects of my life. I wouldn't be where I am without these wonderful people.”
Jan (Marissa Cain)
Marissa Cain is returning to Spartan Stage having performed in Mama Mia (Dance Troupe & Ensemble), Cinderella (Ensemble), and Breaking Up is Hard to Do (Back Up Singer). She is a member of Chorale, Chamber Choir, Field Hockey and Southern Tier Storm Travel Field Hockey team. She is a Senior. “I want to give thanks to Mr. Brandon. He was the one person who got me into Spartan Stage and he always believed in me and helped me out and I wouldn't have done it without him. He's the person who pushed me to do my best and not just in Spartan Stage. He will forever be remembered and he is all looking down on us.”
Marty (Emma deBerjeois)
Emma deBerjeois is returning to the stage after being in Aladdin, Music Man Kids (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn), Music Man Jr (Amaryllis), Sound of Music Jr (Brigitta von Trapp), Seussical, Annie, Alice in Wonderland, and Mamma Mia productions. She participates in both Chamber Choir and competitive dance. Emma is a Freshman. “Throughout my life someone I would have to thank for getting me to this point is my mother. My mom would sit at the piano with me for hours and play songs till late at night just so I would be happy with how I performed. Along with being my director for this show she is a great help when I need to practice lines, get suggestions on how to speak, and even my movement on stage. So I would like to thank her for being my amazing guide throughout this time in my music life.”
Frenchy (Stella Nesci)
Stella Nesci is returning to the stage having played Ariel in Pine Grove’s Theatre production of The Little Mermaid. She is a member of the Chamber Choir and participates on Outdoor Track and Varsity Tennis teams. She is a Sophomore. “Thank you to my Grandma who has inspired and motivated me to go far and has had faith in me since day one, love you.”
Doody ( Peter Dibello)
Peter DiBello - is returning for his senior year of Spartan Stage. Peter has been involved with various other productions on Spartan Stage. These include Stories From Radioland (Multiple), The Dining Room, Mamma Mia! (Ensemble), Clue (Colonel Mustard), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Knight), and All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. Peter has also been involved in other productions such as Shrek The Musical (Shrek). “I would like to give thanks for my parents who pushed me to keep doing this, and my friends who actually got me into it. Mrs. deBerjeois and Mrs. Labatos for teaching me how to use my singing voice, and Mr. Brandon for making acting fun and never giving up on me, pushing me to give 110%. I wish he was here to see me now.”
Pink Lady & Cha Cha ( Kaleigh Maloof)
Kaleigh Maloof is returning to the stage having been in Camp Rock 2: The Musical (Camp Rock Camper), Bye Bye Birdie (teenager/ensemble), and Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Silly Girl). She is a member of Chorale, Chamber Choir and the Wellness Committee and on Varsity Field Hockey, Varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track teams. She is a Junior. “To my Coach Gorney, thank you for all that you do and giving me the motivation to strive for perfection in everything as well as accomplish anything I put my mind to. You made me into the person that I am, you are an amazing role model, coach, mentor, and shoulder to cry on. I love you, thank you for being you, grandpa gorn!! :)”
Patty Simcox (Laura Frateschi)
Laura Frateschi is returning to Spartan Stage having been in The Dining Room (Ann and Ellie), Mamma Mia! (Dance Crew), Clue (Doorman), Cinderella (Dance Troupe Member), and Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (Virtual Ensemble). Laura is now very excited to be a dance captain! She also was in middle school productions of Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts), and Into the Woods (Baker's Wife). She is the Treasurer for both Ski Club and Yearbook, a Cheer Captain on the ESM Cheerleading Team and volunteers at Dog Rescue. She is a Senior. “I am extremely thankful for all the support I’ve received from my parents and close friends, always encouraging me and helping me to truly have fun by not taking things too seriously!”
Sonny (Shawn Weigel )
Shawn Weigel is returning to the stage having been in The Sound of Music (Uncle Max), James and the Giant Peach (Willy Wonka), and The Little Mermaid (ensemble). He is a Sophomore. “I thank my parents, my sister, and the boys for supporting me and keeping me going for all these years.”
Burger Boy (Chris Michael)
Chris Michael is returning to the Spartan Stage having been in Clue (On Stage - The Cop), Cinderella (Townsperson), All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, and Stories From Radioland (Buck Rogers). He is also a member of Film Club and on the Spartan News Morning Show. He is a Junior. “I want to thank and appreciate my friends and peers in Spartan Stage. They really make my time here memorable.”
Teen Angel (Mr. David Richmond)
Mr. Richmond is returning to the stage having been in Music Man (Harold Hill), Bye Bye Birdie (Conrad/ Hugo), Legally Blond (Harvard Professor), and GREASE (Teen Angel) productions. He is a Global History/ Economics Teacher (20 years), Social Studies Department Chair, Coached modified and JV Football from 2000-2007, Modified Boys Track and Field Coach 2007-2015, and Mock Trial Advisor 2015-present. “Thanks to my parents, especially my mom who supported me in whatever I did. Also a big thanks to my biggest fans, my wife Jill and my daughters Kaley and Olivia.”
Vince Fontain (John Holohan)
John Holohan is returning to the stage having been in Aladdin Jr (Ginn), Annie (FDR), Little Mermaid (Sailor), Wizard of Oz (Hickory), Alice in Wonderland (Card), Lion King (Giraffe), Shrek (Big Bad Wolf), Music Man (Reporter), Beauty and the Beast (The Prince), Mama Mia (Ensemble) and Cinderella (Knight) productions. He is a member of DECA and Video Clubs, participates in Spartan News Morning Show, and on Cross Country and Varsity Track teams. John is a Senior. “Recently my grandpa passed away and I wished he could be here to watch the show. Even though he won't be here in person I still believe he'll be here in spirit.”
Eugene (Jack Satterlee )
Jack Satterlee is returning to Spartan Stage having been in Cinderella (a knight) and Breaking Up Is Hard to Do (Gabe Green). He is a member of Chorale and participates in Cross Country, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Tennis, and Ski Club. He is a Senior. “I would like to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who has made these years in Spartan Stage amazing. I have loved working alongside all of you. Thank you to the teachers for being amazing directors and thank you to my parents for driving me and supporting me for these past years. I’m so glad to have participated in the Spartan Stage for these years that I did.“
Johnny Casino (Henry Callahan, Evan deBerjeois, Parker Fero)
Evan, Parker and Henry would like to thank Mrs. deBerjeois, Mrs. Cramer Walter, and Mrs. Baker for encouraging them to audition for GREASE and return to the stage after a 2 year hiatus. They couldn't resist this show because in their words, "It is going to be Epic!"
Mrs. Lynch (Rebecca Kammar)
Ofc. Kammar is making her stage debut this year! She is so excited to be performing in Grease, as it has been her favorite since she was a child! Ofc. Kammar has been a police officer with the Town of Manlius for over seventeen years and has been a School Information Resource Officer with the ESM School District for the last five years. I would like to thank my husband and children for being so supportive during my time as a police officer and as a school resource officer and the students and staff at ESM for always being so welcoming!

Caleb Byrd is returning to the stage having performed in The Sound of Music (Fredrick) and Music Man Kids (Harold Hill). He is on the Track and Volleyball teams. He is a Freshman. “Mr. Mac, thank you for being my biggest supporter.”

Henry Callahan is returning to the stage having performed in Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Maurice), Bye Bye Birdie, Lion King Kids and Annie Kids (Mr. Bundles). He is on ESM Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse teams and a member of the Masterminds, Math League, DECA and Chorale. Henry is a Junior. “I am thankful for my mom due to her always making me lunch and waking me up in the morning.”

Tommy Clonan is new to the stage, GREASE is his first production. He plays baseball, volleyball and basketball. He is a Freshman. “I am thankful for my friends because they are fun to hangout with.”

Evan deBerjeois is returning to the stage having performed in Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Cogsworth), Bye Bye Birdie (Hugo), Lion King Kids (Young Simba) and Annie Kids (Rooster). He is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast and an ESM Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse player and a member of the math league. Evan is a Junior.
Beauty School Girls (Katie Shea)
Katie Shea is returning to Spartan Stage with this production and in the Fall was in Stories From Radioland (Mrs.Caslon, Announcer). Previously she has been involved in multiple Spartan Stage Junior productions such as Beauty and the Beast, James and the Giant Peach, The Little Mermaid, and many more outside of school musicals. Katie is a sophomore. “I am really excited to be part of this show with all of these amazing talented people! Being part of the Spartan Stage is like being part of a family!”
BURGER BOYS/ Rydell High Teens (Parker Fero)
Parker Fero is returning to the stage having performed in Beauty and the Beast Jr., Bye Bye Birdie Jr., Lion King Kids (Mufasa) and Annie Kids. He is an ESM Varsity Soccer player and a member of the Math League, Mock Trial, DECA, and Chorale. He is also a Chess Master and works at McDonalds. He is a Junior. “I want to thank my boy Jeffrey for always being by my side.”
Beauty School Girls (Lexi Rhoades)
Lexi Rhoades is returning to Spartan Stage having been in Stories From Radioland (Annie), Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (ensemble), Little Mermaid (Mersister), and Frozen (ensemble). She was also Stage Crew Director for 101 Dalmations and Willy Wonka. Lexi is in Band and a member of Jr. Honor Society, Youth Development and Leadership, and Something Better. She is a Sophomore. “Thank you to my parents for being so supportive of all the decisions I make.”
Beauty School Girls (Leslie Yakubu)
Leslie Yakubu is returning to Spartan Stage with this production and in the Fall was in Stories From Radioland (Mrs. Silo in Little Orphan Annie and Dr. Huer in Buck Rogers). Previously, she has been involved in Spartan Stage Junior productions and Breaking Up Is Hard to Do (Paradise Quintet). Other productions include Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), James and the Giant Peach (Ladybug), and The Little Mermaid (Alana). She is also a member of Concert Band, Marching Band, Mixed Choir, Chamber Choir and on the Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams. Leslie is a Sophomore. “I'm grateful for theatre in general. It's great to perform with friends who share interests.”

Ellie Mancini is returning to the stage after being in Footloose Jr. (Ethel McCormack), Emma: A Pop Musical (Jane Fairfax), Suessical Kids (Mayzie La Bird), and Frozen Jr. (Sven) productions. She also participates on the Gymnastics and Outdoor Track teams. Ellie is a Freshman. “Thank you to my mom, dad, brother, and friends who have always tried their best to support me in theater and the other things that I do. Thank you everyone for coming to support the show and ESM.”

Rosie Carioti-Darling is excited to be returning to Spartan Stage. Past productions include Stories From Radioland (Sound Effects Operator), Clue (Crew), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Ensemble), and Breaking Up is Hard to Do (Virtual Ensemble) and All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten (Costumes). Rosie is very involved with dance performances and competitions and in Chorale. She is a Junior. “I would like to thank Mr. Brandon for always giving me support and confidence to go on stage.”

Maddy Woods is returning to the stage having been in Emma: A Pop Musical (Emma), The Little Mermaid (Scuttle), Footloose (Willard), High School Musical (Chad), Lion King (Banzai), and Encore Youth Productions Monster Lacrosse. Maddy is a Freshman. “Thank you to my Mom, she is the strongest woman I know. She has taught me so much about independence and working hard to get where you need to go. Thank you for being the person I look up to.”
Cheerleader (Julia Corsello)
Julia Corsello is returning to the stage after being in High School Musical Jr. (Cheerleader), GREASE (Cheerleader), Musica Man (Marium), and Alice in Wonderland (Small Alice). She is a member of Choir and theatre. Julia is a Freshman. “I am so thankful to have my lovely family and friends supporting me constantly !!!!!!!

Maryam Murqus is returning to the stage having been in Seussical the Musical (Who Villager, Thing 2, and performed tricks for monkey scenes) and has worked on stage crews. She is a Sophomore. “I would like to thank my sister for always encouraging me and giving me good advice when I need it.”
Rydell High Teen (Will Jones)
Will Jones is returning to the stage having been in Mary Poppins (Penguin), Lion King (Hyena) and Footloose (Cowboy Bob). He is a member of the Choir. Will is a Freshman. “I want to thank Mrs. Labatos for dealing with me for so many years and for giving me my love of music.”
Rydell High Teen (Ethan Mone)
Ethan Mone is returning to Spartan Stage having been in Cinderella (ensemble) and Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (virtual ensemble). He is a Life Scout of Boy Scouts of America Troop 157, member of Chorale and in the Art Club. Ethan is a Senior.
Rydell High Teen (Collin Powers)
Collin Powers made his Spartan Stage debut with Stories From Radioland (Bud, Rudolph) in the Fall. However, his first show was with Encore Youth Productions and he has been doing theatre for many years. Shows that he has done are Emma: A Pop Musical, The Little Mermaid, Footloose, and The Lion King. Collin is a freshman.
Rydell High Teen (Samantha Russell- Jeffers)
Samantha Russell-Jeffers is returning to Spartan Stage having been in the ensemble for Mamma Mia, Cinderella and Breaking Up Is To Do. She is in Chorale and on the Unified bowling and Basketball teams. She is a Senior. “I would love to say thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me throughout the years, especially Mr. Brandon and my dear friend Patrick Carmen who have been my musical friends for years. I know they are very proud of me and I'll know they'll be watching the show.“
Rydell High Teen (Molly Stiadle)
Molly Stiadle returns to the stage having performed in Aladdin (Jasmine), Sleeping Beauty (Merryweather), Lion King (Sarafina) and James and The Giant Peach (Spider). She is in chorus, on the Field Hockey Team and performs in Encore Youth Productions. Molly is a Freshman. “I would like to thank my family and friends for always supporting me in any show I'm in and always coming to see the shows.”
Rydell High Teen (Ava Walters)
Ava Walters returns to the stage having performed in Syracuse Children’s Theater’s Frozen (Pabbie), The Little Mermaid (Jetsam) and Lion King (a very hot giraffe). She is in choir. Ava is a Sophomore. “I want to thank Mr. Dave Matthews for being the reason I was born.”
