Isabella Brostek (3rd Assistant Director)
Izzy is excited to be returning to the stage fro her first performance at Esm’s Spartan Stage. She has performed Madagascar (Gloria), Matilda (Matilda), Moana (Moana), Aladdin (Babkak), Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyhndom), and again in Matilda (Bruce). She is have a great time in her freshman year. She enjoys art and is a member of the mixed choir. She is also on the softball team. “I would like to thank my mom and dad for always supporting me with everything I do”.
Caleb Byrd (Workman #1)
Caleb Byrd is returning to the stage having performed in Spartan Stage’s production of High School Musical (Chad Danforth), The Addams Family (Lucas Beinecke), Grease (Rydell High Student)The Sound of Music (Fredrick) and Music Man Kids (Harold Hill). He is on the track and volleyball teams. He is a Junior.
Eva-Lia Braun (Maid/ Ensemble)
Eva-Lia is really excited to perform in her first musical. She is a senior and an exchange student from Estonia. Before coming to the United States she has acted in Estonian plays. She has taken acting classes, studied at the music school for nine years and still plays the piano(played at the talent show). She has also done folk dancing and singing back in Estonia.”I want to thank my host family who have supported me so much this year! I also would like to thank all of my friends at ESM and teachers who have helped me to achieve my dreams. Thank you all for making it the best exchange year and experience in my life!”
Tommy Clonan (Production Singer)
Tommy Clonan is returning to the stage having performed in Spartan Stage productions of The Addams Family (Mal Beinecke) and High School Musical (Zeke). He made his debut as a Burger Boy in Grease. This will be his 4th production.”I would like to thank my mom and dad for always getting me to places I need to be even when I have many things going on at once.” He plays baseball, volleyball, and basketball. Tommy is a Junior and is excited to be in Singin’ In the Rain!
Cerrah Colton  (Olga Mara's escort)
New to Spartan Stage Cerrah Colton has showcased their versatile skills in productions like "Rock of Ages," "Matilda Jr," "Descendants Jr," and performed in Spartan Stage Jr's murder mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater. He has participated in both Band and Choir for multiple years and is looking forward to continuing his music education throughout his Highschool years.
Leah Crofut (Ensemble)
Leah is so excited to be returning to theater. Her previous shows include The Little Mermaid (Princess),and Descendants (Fairy Godmother). She is ready to flourish her musical career in Spartan Stage! “I would like to thank my family for always supporting me in everything I do.”
Ava D’Agostino (Zelda Zanders)
Ava D’Agostino is a Senior and is returning to the high school stage having performed in High School Musical (cheerleader) and other productions such as Beauty and the Beast Jr. (villager) and The Little Mermaid Jr. (mer-sister). She is a member of the National Honor Society, YDL, Math League, Chem Club, Sources of Strength, Model UN, and on the Varsity Field Hockey team. “A huge thank you to my supportive friends and family for encouraging me and the DeBerjeois fam for making life fun!!”
Luke D’Agostino (Sam)
Luke is participating in Spartan Stage for his second year! Luke is a sophomore and is excited to continue his musical career at ESM. “I would like to thank my family for inspiring me to sing in the rain!”
Emma deBerjeois (Mary Margaret)
Emma deBerjeois is a junior who participated in Spartan Stage productions of Disney's High School Musical (Gabriella) Addams Family (Wednesday)and Grease(Marty). She also participated in productions of Aladdin (EYP) , Music Man Kids (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn), Music Man Jr. (Amaryllis), Sound of Music Jr. (Brigitta von Trapp), Seussical and Annie (SCT), Alice in Wonderland and Mamma Mia. She participates in Chorale, Chamber Choir, ballroom dance and assists with choreography.“Throughout my life, someone I would have to thank for getting me to this point is my mother. My mom would sit at the piano with me for hours and play songs till late at night just so I would be happy with how I performed. Along with being my director for this show, she is a great help when I need to practice lines, get suggestions on how to speak, and even my movement on stage. So, I would like to thank her for being my amazing guide throughout this time in my music life.”
Ermin Hajdarević (Male Diction Teacher)
Ermin is an actor, singer, and musician who has performed in shows such as Alice Through the Looking Glass (Humpty Dumpty), Descendants Jr. (King Ben), Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery (Richard), Matilda Jr (Nigel), and Fiddler on the Roof (Sasha/Ensemble). Ermin is very excited to perform in his first highschool production. Outside of theater, Ermin has performed with Area All County and New York Area All State choirs. He’d like to thank his family and friends for their long lasting love and support for his favorite activity.
Katie Hildreth (dancer)
Katie is beginning her first show as a freshmen with Spartan Stage. She has participated in various productions before of Cinderella (Gus),The Wizard of Oz, Alice and Wonderland, Elf Jr (Elf #4), Mary Poppins, Willy Wonka, Shrek Jr., Lion King (Rafiki), Annie (Pepper), Emma: A Pop Musical, Descendants (Belle), Matilda Jr. (Alice), and other masterclasses with Encore Youth Productions. She also participates in Choir, Band, and student council. “I want to thank Mrs. Currier for showing me what theater is when I was in 1st grade, with Wizard of Oz. I wouldn't be standing on stage if it weren't for you.” “I also want to thank my friends and family for supporting me but especially my siblings who give me all my confidence and courage in my life.”
Haven Henderson (Crew)
Haven is returning to Spartan Stage this year for High School Musical. They've been in the production of Stories on Radio Land, crew for Grease, and crew for The Addams Family! They are happy to return again on the stage!
Malania Irons (Sound)
Malania Irons is a Sophomore, She has previously been on the crew for Spartan Stage and is now making her first debut as a cast member. She performed in 101 Dalmations as Anita at East Syracuse Elementary School. She also participated in the high school musical last year as a brainiac. She like to thank her parents for driving her to and from rehearsals and supporting all her endeavors.
Will Jones (Workman #2)
Will Jones is returning to the stage having been in Mary Poppins (Penguin Tapper), Lion King (Hyena), and Footloose (Cowboy Bob).He also recently was in spartan stage productions of Grease (Rydell High Student), Addams Family ( Ancestor), and High School Musical (Cheerleader). He is a member of the Chorale and Tri-M. Will is currently a Junior. “This year i would like to thank Hannah Caccamo for coming back and helping me keep my sanity within this show. I would also like to thank Stella Nesci for doing these shows with me for all these years you’re one of my best friends and my favorite senior to leave me this year. I would also like to thank Em for being one of my favorite people in the world i couldn't have done junior year without you.”
Hyacinth Labatos (Sid Phillips)
Hyacinth Labatos is a senior who has participated in Spartan Stage for 4 years in The Curious Savage (Dr. Emmett), The Addams Family (Morticia), Grease (Rizzo), Breaking Up is Hard to Do (ensemble), etc. He has been in several other productions such as Rock of Ages (Drew Boley) with the town of DeWitt Summer Theatre Program and many roles in Encore Youth Productions. Hyacinth participates in Chorale and Chamber Choir. "I would like to thank my Mom for all she has taught me in my theater and singing experience. I would also like to thank Mrs. deBerjeois and Mr. Brandon for the same. I would like to thank Mrs. Cramer-Walter and Ms. Just for all I've learned in my dance experience. Last but not least, I'd like to thank my dad for teaching me how to organize, manage, and maintain all aspects of my life. I wouldn't be where I am without these wonderful people.”
Alexis Lupia (dancer)
Alexis Lupia is a sophomore and this is her third show for Spartan Stage. She is thrilled to be a part of Singing in the Rain! She has previously done shows including Disney’s High School Musical, Addams Family (Ancestor), Annie (Annie), The Little Mermaid (Flounder), Cats (Jemimah), Descendants (Evie), Emma: the Pop Musical and The Lion King. “I would like to Thank Mrs. Currier for her start into my musical career and Mrs.Labatos for helping me advance in my career”. “I would also like to thank my mom, for being my bestfriend and for all her support, love and encouragement through all my successes and downfalls.”
Kira Macomber (2nd Assistant Director)
Kira Macomber is ecstatic to be performing with Spartan Stage! Kira is an avid musician, participating in band (French horn), choir, Spartan Sound Machine, Area All-State (vocal), NYSSMA & All-County (both)! She is also a Company/Competition dancer with Aspire Dance CNY, performing in The Nutcracker as Clara in 2022 and as the French Doll/Marzipan/Flower last year. Some other show credits include: Matilda (Mrs. Phelps/dancer), SpongeBob (Karen), The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater (Susan), The Lion King (Nala), and a young urchin in Les Misérables with Spartan Stage back in 2018! “I would like to thank Mrs. Currier and Mrs. Labatos for their hard work and encouragement, Miss Budge for always being my number one fan, and Mr. Godzak for teaching me how to explore my voice!”
Madison Macomber (Kathy Selden)
Madison Macomber is thrilled to be returning to Spartan Stage in Singing in the Rain! Some of her previous shows include Beauty and the Beast (Belle), The Curious Savage (Ethel Savage), The Addams Family (Alice Beinecke), Legally Blonde (Emmett Forrest), Disney’s Descendants (Mal), Matilda (Agatha Trunchbull), Emma: A Pop Musical (Harriet Smith), Annie (Rooster Hannigan), Disney’s Aladdin (The Genie), and Elf: The Musical (Michael Hobbs). She is also a member of the 5 East Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Spartan Sound Machine, and an all-state musician. She is a Sophomore. “I would like to thank Mrs. Currier for helping me start in theater, and Mrs. Labatos for helping me become a better performer. I would also like to thank Mr. Godzak for teaching me how to use the best of my voice.”
Ellie Mancini (Olga Mara)
Ellie Mancini is returning to the stage after being in Grease (Cheerleader), Footloose Jr. (Ethel McCormack), Emma: A Pop Musical (Jane Fairfax), Suessical Kids (Mayzie La Bird), and Frozen Jr. (Sven). She also participates on the Gymnastics and Indoor and Outdoor Track teams. Ellie is a Sophomore. “Thank you to my mom, dad, brother, and friends who have always tried their best to support me in theater and the other things that I do. Thank you everyone for coming to support the show and ESM.”
Romelo Martin ( Musketeer)
Romelo Martin is a 9th grader who is still a bit new to acting. In 8th grade, He performed in Matilda Jr. (Michael) and sang in many concerts. Romelo has also danced in ESM’s Coffee House. Romelo has participated in a few activities in the school, these are; mixed-choir and All-county Choir. “I’d like to thank my friends for encouraging me to join this. As well as my family for watching and enjoying my performances. My favorite memories were spent on a stage, and I’m ready to make more.”
Dylan Mazariegos (Rod & Musketeer)
Dylan Mazariegos is a freshman who is no stranger to performing. In his middle school years at Lyncourt he has performed in Lyncourt Schools; Willy Wonka Kids (Charlie Bucket) and 101 Dalmations Kids (Roger), multiple concerts, ESMs Got Talent and a little bit of singing and choreography at ESM's Coffee House. Dylan participates in a plethora of activities throughout the school, these include; concert band, mixed-choir, Indoor and Outdoor track, cross country, the Spartan Sound Machine (Pep-Band), (newly) Spartan Stage and All-County Band. Dylan is prepared to help put on an amazing show for all to enjoy. “Thank you too my loving parents who, despite everything that I take part in, find time to make it to each and every event, (and thanks for the early rides to sports). I would also like to thank Miss deBerjeois, despite only meeting her this year, for taking me in with open arms and convincing me to try out for this years Spartan Stage musical and helping me to try my best in all the music that I sing and play.”
Trevor McDonald (Roscoe Dexter & Villain)
Trevor is a Sophomore and this is his fourth show in Spartan Stage. He is excited to be returning for Curious Savage. He has previously done 101 Dalmatians (Sgt. Tibbs), Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory (Charlie), The Little Mermaid (ensemble), Emma: A Pop Musical ( Phillip), Newsies ( Police Chief & Bill Hearst) Mary Poppins (The Chairmen), The Addams Family (Conquistador Ancestor), High School Musical (Theatre / Smart Student), and Jeffery (Curious Savage). He's thankful for all the support of his family to keep going in theatre and letting him follow what he wants to do in the future!
Stella Nesci (Ensemble)
Stella Nesci is returning to Spartan Stage after playing Frenchy in Grease. She played Ariel in Pine Grove’s production of The Little Mermaid. She is a member of the Chamber Choir and participates in the Outdoor Track and Varsity Tennis teams. She is a Junior. “Thank you to my Grandma who has inspired and motivated me to go far and has had faith in me since day one. Love you.”
Aiden O’Brien (Don Lockwood)
Aiden O’Brien is returning to the stage after performing in the Addams Family (Gomez), Grease (Kenickie), Getting to Know Footloose (Ren). He’s volunteering over the summer at Encore Youth Productions. He is a junior. “I’m very excited to perform in High School Musical alongside the amazing cast and crew.”
Evan O’Connor (Young Cosmo)
Evan O’Connor will be returning to Spartan Stage after his experience with his elementary school drama club and Spartan Stage Jr. He is a freshman that is joyed to be in this production/First high school production. He has been Rudolfo in Matilda in Spartan Stage Jr. He has also been in chitty Chitty Bang Bang in Fremont dram club. He wants to thank his parents and his whole family for coming to all his productions.
Jackson Quarry (Usher)
Jackson Quarry is returning to the stage after his experience with his elementary schools drama club, EYP, and Spartan Stage Jr. he is a freshman and excited to be on stage for his first high school show. He’s been (Jafar) in Descendents, Brian D Taylor in Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery, Tommy in Matilda and more theatre and has been in plays like Alice in Wonderland, Elf, Lion King, Aladdin, Frozen, and Annie. He wants to say thank you to his loving parents, as well as his two awesome brothers, his amazing grandparents, godmother and everyone else who came to see him.
Ryan Sullivan (Cosmo)
Ryan Sullivan is a junior who participated in Spartan Stage productions of Disney's High School Musical (Troy Bolton) Addams Family (Fester)and Grease(Roger). He played roles in numerous productions prior to high school, Shrek (Donkey), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Aladdin (Jafar), Lion King (Simba), and many others. He participates in Varsity Volleyball and just won a sectional title in track! “I would like to thank my mom because she has got me places while basketball and the musical are at the same time, she really pushes herself so she gets me where I need to be.” He loves to be in the musical family and is so happy and ready to put on the show, High School Musical, he hopes you enjoy the show!!
Laila Thomas (Hairdresser)
Laila is excited to be performing in her first Spartan Stage production. Some of her previous shows include Newsies (Race), Rock of Ages (Lonny), Descendants (Carlos), Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theatre (Sandy/Gertrude), and Suessical (Horton). This past November Laila was selected to participate in Area All State. Outside of theatre and choir, Laila is part of the soccer, indoor track, and lacrosse teams. “I’m grateful for my parents for supporting me to do everything I love.”
Evangeline Tsan (Mrs. R.F. Simpson)
Evangeline Tsan comes back to Spartan Stage after her 6th grade performance in Pine Grove’s production of The Little Mermaid (ensemble), and the fall high school production of Addams Family (ancestor). She is a freshman and enjoys singing. “I am thankful for my friends and family who have helped me along the way and also for Mrs. deBerjeois who inspired me to do this production this year as well as teaching me how to play piano.”
Nolan Wall (Policeman)
Nolan most recently played an ancestor in The Addams Family and this is his second Spartan Stage production. Nolan has been in The Sound of Music (stage manager), Music Man (Winthrop), Addams Family (ensamble), High School Musical (Mong) James and the Giant Peach (ensemble). ”I would like to say thanks to all my friends and family for always supporting me, especially my parents for working hard so I get to do this.”
Ava Walters (Dora Bailey)
Ava Walters heads back to theater, having performed in Disney‘S High School Musical (Martha), Addams Family(Pugsley), Syracuse Children’s Theater’s Frozen (Pabbie), The Little Mermaid (Jetsam), and ESM’s production of Grease (Ensamble). She is in her junior year and is excited for the upcoming year. “I want to thank my family and friends here at ESM. I love being in this awesome community!! And a special shoutout to my Angel Queen Lynda!! ♥♥”
Shawn Weigel (R.F. Simpson)
Shawn Weigel is returning to the stage having been in Addams Family (cousin It), The Sound of Music (Uncle Max), James and the Giant Peach (Willy Wonka), The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), and Grease (Sonny). He is a junior. That Is all.
Peyton Wickes (Woman)
Peyton Wickes is a freshman and this is her first show on Spartan Stage. She has been in many shows including Rock of Ages (Constance/Pre-show announcer), Matilda (Hortensia), Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater (Adele Sears), Descendants (Smitten Kid 2), Emma: A Pop Musical (Ensemble), The Wizard of Oz (Auntie Em), and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Marta). Outside of theater, Peyton also participates in various softball teams. "I would like to thank my family for always supporting me in all of my activities and Mrs. Labatos for always believing in me and helping me improve to be the actress and singer I am today!"
Leslie Yakubu (Wardrobe Woman)
Leslie Yakubu is returning to Spartan Stage with this production and previously did High School Musical (Cyndra), Addams Family (Crew), Grease (Ensemble), Stories From Radioland (Mrs. Silo in Little Orphan Annie and Dr. Huer in Buck Rogers), and Breaking Up Is Hard to Do (Paradise Quintet). She is a senior and participates in other music groups such as Chorale, Wind Ensemble, Chamber Choir, and Marching Band. “I'm grateful for every music-related mentor I’ve had since Kindergarten. I wouldn’t be here without you!”
Eliza Zuber (Lina Lamont)
Eliza Zuber is a Freshman at ESM High School. Her most recent shows include, The Curious Savage (Mrs. Paddy), Newsies (Crutchie), Matilda (Ms. Honey), The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater (Holly),Descendants (Maleficent), and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Jemmimma). Eliza is an active member in her youth group and church choir. She also participated in Area All State choir this past november. She is looking forward to preforming for her great grandmother who turns 100 next month. Singing in the rain is her great grandmother's favorite musical.
Megan Kavanagh (Ensemble)
Megan is a freshman who is returning to the stage after productions at Fremont Elementary and Pine Grove Middle School.
