Footloose the Musical Cast

Eddie Clark (Ren McCormack)
Eddie is a senior at Sparta high school, this will be his 6th production with the Sparta Spotlight Players, he was in “The Addams Family” (Pugsley), “Newsies” (Crutchie), “Rock of Ages” (Stacee Jaxx) , “Grease” (Kenickie), “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Chip Tolentino), “9 to 5” (Joe), and now playing Ren in “Footloose.” Eddie is involved in an assortment of other extra curricular activities including being tenor section leader for Upstage Adrenaline, Tenor 1 in Midnight Collective (Sparta vocal jazz), Chamber choir, and now Tenor/Bass choir. Eddie has been nominated for outstanding lead performer for The Jerry Awards for the roles of: Pugsley, Crutchie, Stacee Jaxx, Kenickie, Chip Tolentino, and Joe. Eddie will be attending Viterbo University as a musical theatre major this fall! He thanks his friends, directors, and family members for supporting him through his high school career.
Madysen Schwarz (Ariel Moore)
Mady is a junior at Sparta High School this year. This is going to be her 6th show with the Sparta Spotlight Players! Some of her past credits include: “Little Shop of Horrors” (crew), “Newsies” (Bowery Beauty/nun), “Rock of Ages” (Waitress #3), Grease (Sandy Dumbrowski), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne SchwartzandGrubenirre), and most recently, 9 to 5 (Doralee Rhodes)! She is also involved in Vocal Jazz, and both show choir groups: Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. She would like to thank all of her best friends and parents and directors for always pushing her to reach her full potential! She would also like to thank everyone for coming and hopes everyone enjoys the show!!!
Parker Calkins (Reverend Shaw Moore)
Parker is a Senior at Sparta High School this year! This is his 8th production with the Sparta Spotlight Players! Past credits include: “Shrek the Musical” (Papa Bear/Ensemble), “The Addams Family” (Mal Beineke), “Little Shop of Horrors” (Ensemble/Audrey II puppeteer), “Newsies” (Jack Kelly), “Rock of Ages” (Dennis Dupree), “Grease” (Danny Zuko) and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Leaf Coneybear), “9 to 5” (Franklin Hart Jr.). Parker is a dance captain for Upstage Adrenaline show choir as well as the assistant choreographer for Rise of Adrenaline this year! Parker is also choreographing his own show choir this year, that being Sound of Adrenaline at Meadowview middle school! He is also a part of Chamber Choir and Vocal Jazz. He was awarded an outstanding supporting role as Dennis Dupree in “Rock of Ages” and this past year won 2 outstanding lead performances for Danny Zuko in “Grease” and Leaf Coneybear in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Jerry awards!!! Parker’s plans after high school are to attend Viterbo University for a BFA in musical theatre and a minor in dance!! He would like to thank his friends and family for being so supportive throughout this process and always being there for him! And a big thank you to his directors, dance instructors, vocal coaches for being so supportive throughout his journey in music, dance, and theater, but also his journey in discovering himself! He hopes everyone can laugh with your family, friends, and the people you love while watching the show. And most importantly…just enjoy the show!!!
Hayden Olsen (Vi Moore)
Hayden is a sophomore at Sparta High, this is her fourth high school production; she was a part of our musical “Grease”, the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!”, “9 to 5” And now “Footloose”! She is also a part of both show choir groups; Rise of Adrenaline and Upstage Adrenaline. She has fallen in love with participating in musicals and show choir, and hopes to continue to participate in these over the next few years. She would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for all of their support and love throughout the musical production process. She hopes you love and enjoy the show as much as she does!!!
Peter Mulvaney (Willard Hewitt)
Peter is a sophomore at Sparta High School. This is his 3rd musical production. He has grown so much and has learned to love this department so much. He was in the ensemble in Grease and ensemble/doctor in 9 to 5. Other activities he participates in are Sparta's Upstage Adrenaline Show Choir, and Sparta's Jazz band. He made his closest friends here and can’t wait to entertain everyone with his first main role as Willard Hewitt who is not dumb just a soft hearted goof. He is excited to have you watch and he hopes you enjoy the show!
Noella LaRock (Rusty)
Noella is a junior at Sparta High School this year! This is her 3rd show with Sparta Spotlight Players. She played Rona in Sparta’s 2025 spring musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Along with this, she played Candy Striper/Ensemble in Sparta’s 2025 fall musical 9 To 5. Noella is a member of both of the show choirs, Upstage Adrenaline and Rise Of Adrenaline. Following this, she is part of the high school’s Chamber Choir. She is so excited to be playing an upbeat character such as Rusty, as Rusty is completely different compared to Noella’s previous roles. She would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for all of their support and encouragement! Noella wishes her theatre family the best of luck! Have a great show everyone.:)
Emaly Sutherland (Urleen)
Emaly is currently a junior at Sparta High School and is thrilled to be appearing in her sixth production with the Sparta Spotlight Players. Her past credits include crew for Newsies and Rock of Ages, ensemble in Grease, Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and ensemble in 9 to 5. She is so excited to now be taking on the role of Urleen in Footloose! In addition to musical theater, Emaly sings in Treble Choir and Chamber Choir and performs with the Rise of Adrenaline and Upstage Adrenaline show choirs. She would like to thank her friends,family and teachers/directors for their constant support and encouragement.
Delia Mathison (Wendy Jo)
Delia is a senior at Sparta high school and this will be her sixth production with Sparta Spotlight Players. Her past productions include “The Addams Family”, “Newsies”, “Rock of Ages”, “Grease” as Frenchy, and “9 to 5” as Judy. Outside of musicals, she is a singer/dancer and vocal section leader in the Rise of Adrenaline show choir and plays synthesizer in the Backstage Beats show band. Delia is also a part of Sparta's vocal jazz known as “Midnight Collective”, Sparta's marching band where she also plays synthesizer, art club serving as this years president, and varsity soccer. Delia plans on going to a four year university pursuing art and studying psychology at UWMilwaukee. She would like to thank her directors for continuously pushing her throughout her high school career, and helping her find her voice. Along with her directors, she would like to thank her parents for always showing up and lending a listening ear throughout the years and pushing her to be her best self even in the face of adversity. She would like to thank her siblings and friends for always supporting and building her up no matter the circumstances, creating laughter she wouldn’t have otherwise. She thanks everyone for being a part of her journey and cannot wait to perform one last time!
Ella Noble (Ethel McCormack)
Ella is a senior at Sparta High School. This is her third musical production! Ella is also involved in Chamber Choir, Upstage Adrenaline, and Rise of Adrenaline show choir! She would like to thank everyone around her for supporting her in doing what she loves! She would like to give her thanks to everyone in this production for working extra hard in the little amount of time so everyone can enjoy this amazing show. Ella is very sad to call this her last show at Sparta, but would like to let everyone know that she is very thankful for this program. Ella is so thankful that she decided to join musicals, as she has had the most fun during her time! She has been overwhelmed by support from everyone around her and she could not be more excited to perform and showcase this beautiful show!
Garrick Manning (Chuck Cranston)
Garrick is a Junior at SHS this year, and this is his 3rd year with Sparta Spotlight Players! Footloose is his 6th production, with previous shows being “Newsies” as Finch, “Rock of Ages” as Joey Primo, “Grease” as Sonny LaTierri, and “9 to 5” as Dwayne. He was also involved in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” as William Barfee, for which he was awarded an Outstanding Lead Performance through the Jerry Awards! Garrick is one of 2 male performers to win this award from SHS, along with his good friend Parker Calkins! Garrick made many great memories and met so many new friends through the Jerry Awards, and it is his dream to someday go back! Garrick is involved in many things in the Music Department at SHS, including Show Choir, Show Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Jazz Combo. He’d like to personally thank his directors for the opportunities this show has given him, his friends and family for all their loving support, and the world of Theatre for bringing him more joy and memories than anything else! His message to everyone in the audience is… enjoy the show!!!
Roman Olbert (Lyle / Ensemble)
Roman is a junior this year and this will be his 9th show! His previous roles include: “Shrek the Musical” (Young Shrek/Baby Bear/Dwarf), “The Addams Family” (Ancestor/Cousin Itt), “Little Shop of Horrors” (crew), “Newsies” (Romeo), “Rock of Ages” (Franz), “Grease” (Roger), and “9 to 5” (Josh). Other activities that he is involved in are Show Band, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Golf, Local Pit Orchestras, and his own band Flavorville. Last year, he was selected as an understudy for the Kids From Wisconsin, and is very fortunate for all of the opportunities he has been offered. He would like to thank his boy band, The Bathroom Boyz, for all the support, food, and hospitality they have given him, as well as his friends and family for being supportive. He could not be more excited for this show, and can’t wait for everyone to see it!
Patrick Larson (Travis / Ensemble)
Patrick is a junior this year at Sparta High. This is his seventh production with the Sparta Spotlight Players. Past shows include: “Little Shop of Horrors” (crew), “Newsies” (Mush/Mayor), “Rock of Ages” (JaKeith Gill/Father/Mayor),”Grease” (Johnny Casino), “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Panch), “9 to 5” (Dick/Tinsworthy) and now “Footloose” (Travis). Over the past two summers, he was fortunate enough to be selected as a trumpet understudy for the Kids From Wisconsin and was extremely happy with his time in the program and hopes for the best in the upcoming summer. He is in chamber choir, jazz band/combo, symphonic band, the Backstage Beats show band, and VJ. Patrick is excited to cut footloose with everyone in this show and wishes everyone the best. Break a leg!
Matthew Smith (Wes Warnicker / Bickle / Ensemble)
Matthew is a junior at Sparta High School and this is his fourth musical production at Sparta. He was Specs in “Newsies” two years ago and ensemble in “Grease” last year. He was also in the ensemble in “9 to 5” this past fall. Matthew is also in Upstage Adrenaline for the third year, and he is in Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support.
Bella Betterly (Lulu Warnicker / Ensemble)
Bella is a sophomore and this is her fourth production here at Sparta Spotlight Players! Bella’s past credits include: Annie Jr(Ms. Hannigan), Grease(spotlight), 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee(spotlight), 9 to 5 (Margaret), and now Footloose as Lulu Warnicker. On top of the musical, Bella also participates in Upstage Adrenaline as a performer, and in Rise of Adrenaline as a band member. She is also in Concert Band, marching band as color guard, treble choir, Jazz Combo 2. Bella would like to thank all her family and friends who have helped and supported her throughout her musical career! Lulu is so excited to have you dive into the town of Bomont she just asks that you follow all laws put in place in Bomont(especially local ordinance four-sixteen). Brianna Betterly (Eleanor Dunbar / Ensemble)
Brianna is delighted to play the role of “Eleanor”. This year she’s a Senior at Sparta. Her past productions include: “Newsies” (Hannah), “Grease” (Mrs. Lynch), and “9 to 5” (Missy). When she isn’t spending time with her husband coach Dunbar, or in the town hall, you can find her in both Upstage and Rise, as well as conducting the high school marching band. She is also a cheerleader for basketball cheer. Her plan after graduation is to major in Nursing. She would like to thank everyone who has devoted time to support her journey, and continue to support her throughout college and her future. She is so excited to let you peek into the life of Bomont. But please, no singing or dancing allowed! Enjoy!
Skylah Simao (Principal Clark / Ensemble)
Skylah is a senior at Sparta High School. This is her sixth production with Sparta Spotlight Players. Skylah’s credits include: Newsies (Medda), Rock of Ages (Justice), Grease (Rizzo), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney), 9 to 5 (Violet Newstead), and Footloose (Principle Clark). Skylah is currently a dance captain for both varsity and prep show choirs. She is so excited to bring this show to life and showcase her character along with her castmates. Skylah plans to go into cosmetology and fashion after high school. She is eager to end her senior year with a bang by doing Footloose. She would also like to thank all her friends and family for their support as without them she wouldn’t be where she is today. Skylah hopes that everyone enjoys the show!!
Sophie Ebert (Betty Blast / Ensemble)
Sophie is a senior at Sparta High School. This is her fifth show with the Sparta Spotlight Players. Her theatre credits include: “The Addams Family” (Elizabethan Queen Ancestor) and “Newsies” (Tommy Boy), “Grease” (Jan). “9 to 5” (Roz Keith). She was nominated by the Jerrys for best lead performance for her role as Jan and Roz Keith. Sophie is also a four year veteran of Upstage Adrenaline, and a three year veteran of Rise of Adrenaline. Sophie's plans after high school include attending University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a major in Psychology while also minoring in music. Sophie wants to thank her family, friends, and her directors for being supportive of all of her accomplishments and giving her the chance to do something she loves! She is very excited for you all to see the hard work that the cast, crew and directors have put into this production! Enjoy the show!!
Davin Noble (Garvin / Ensemble)
Davin, a sophomore at Sparta High School, is thrilled to be part of his third Sparta Spotlight Players production. Previously, he played the role of Oliver Warbucks in Annie Jr. during middle school, and Ensemble in Grease and 9 to 5. Davin is also actively involved in Sparta Upstage Adrenaline.
Ciara Morene (Jeter / Ensemble)
Ciara is a freshman in high school and this is her second high school production! She was previously a part of “9 to 5” as an ensemble. Now onto her second high school show she's really happy to add this show to the ones she’s done. With an ongrowing passion for performances she hopes she can help put on a great show and hopes everyone enjoys the show as much as she has enjoyed the process. Ciara is also in Upstage Adrenaline.
Gavyn DeClute (Cowboy Bob / Ensemble)
Gavyn is a freshman at Sparta High. This is his third production with the Sparta Spotlight players; he began acting Newsies as a 7th grader, followed by 9 to 5, last Fall. He is also in Show choir. He is proud to be a part of the theater program, and excited to show off all of the hard work they’ve put in. He is so thankful for all of the friends he has made along the way.
Tanner Wehmanen (Cop / Ensemble)
Tanner is a junior this year. This is the fifth production he's been a part of. He was Snyder in ‘Newsies’, spotlight operator in ‘Rock of Ages’, and ensemble in ‘Grease’ and ‘9 to 5’. Outside of theater, Tanner is also in Show Choir, Chamber Choir and a captain in fall Cheerleading. Outside of school, Tanner enjoys relaxing and hanging out with friends and family and thanks them for their continuous support.
Kenley Adams (Ensemble)
Kenley is a freshman at Sparta High school. This is going to be her second Musical here at Sparta High School, she played in 9 to 5 this fall as “New Employee” and “Ensemble”, she was also in Sparta Meadowview's musical "Annie Jr" (Annie). Kenley enjoys being a part of a group that is so supportive and talented. She enjoys getting to know everyone and is super excited to see what the future holds for her! Kenley would also like to shout out the whole cast, directors, and crew for being so kind and welcoming! Break legs!
Lorelai Hemersbach (Ensemble)
Lorelai is a Sophomore this year at Sparta High School. She has been a part of 3 musicals; Grease and 9 to 5 with Sparta Spotlight Player Production, and Annie with Sparta Middle School. She is in both Show Choirs, Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. She appreciates all the support the program is getting. She also loves seeing new people join the program and new peers coming to support the show! She hopes to see you there, and love the show as much as she does!
Allie Martinson (Ensemble)
A senior at Sparta high school, this is Allie’s fourth and final musical in high school; freshman year ensemble in Addams Family, sophomore year Bowery Beauty/Nun in Newsies, Junior year ensemble in Grease, and now ensemble in Footloose. Aside from musicals, Allie is involved in Archery and NHS as well as Sparta’s Vocal Jazz, Midnight Collective. After graduation she will be attending the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, as a tuition free nursing scholar where she will integrate her faith into her future nursing career. She would like to thank her parents for helping her stay true to herself and teaching her to work hard and advocate for herself in the face of adversity. Thank you.
Celia Martinson (Ensemble)
Celia is a sophomore at Sparta high. This is her 2nd musical production, the other one being Grease (Ensemble). Celia is also a part of both show choirs in Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. She is very excited to put on this amazing show and is so grateful to be around such amazing people everyday. She says that the hard work is worth every bit of spotlight on stage when it comes to performing for everyone in that audience. Other hobbies of hers include reading, crocheting, biking, and going camping with her family
Amy Sutherland (Ensemble)
Amy Sutherland is a junior at Sparta High School. She did crew for Rock of Ages her freshman year. She was also in Grease as an ensemble member and had an amazing time. She found it so exciting to perform like that for the first time. Now she’s in Footloose and is so excited to “bring all that I can to the stage and be part of this amazing show that we all have worked to the bone for.” She has been a member of both show choir groups, Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline, for the past 3 years. “My past three years in Sparta high school have been a fever dream, but I’ve loved every moment because it has helped lead me to my full potential. I’m so excited to put this show on!” EVERYBODY CUT FOOTLOOSE!
Dulce Tinoco Vazquez (Ensemble)
Dulce is a senior this year and this is the second musical production she’s a part of! She’s very excited to be able to perform in front of an audience. She was in the cast of ‘9 to 5’ as an ensemble. Other extracurriculars she’s involved in include: student council, FBLA, key club, and soccer. She’s involved in both show choir groups Sparta’s Upstage and Rise of Adrenaline. After high school, she plans on attending UW Madison and majoring in biology. She would like to thank the cast of Grease and show choir last year for inspiring her to join the music department.
