The Addams Family the Musical Cast

Joshua Smith is a senior this year and his second SHS production. He was seen previously as Donkey in "Shrek the Musical." He is also a part of Sparta's show choir and Sparta tennis. His plan after school is to go to UW-L to dual major in Physics/engineering as well as minor in theatre arts. He truly wants to thank all the friends, family, support, and directors for helping him become the person he is today and supporting his decisions to choose his true passion over other ones.

After 7 years in the Sparta High musical theater program, Jenna is performing in her final fall production. Her last role was Fiona in "Shrek the Musical" however she’s also performed as 7 other roles at SHS. “Skyler and Schneider, without your constant support and help I wouldn’t be the performer I am today. Colby, I’m beyond grateful to share the stage with you as I perform for the last time. I couldn't ask for a better brother. Mom and Dad, my biggest fans, I can’t begin to say how much your love and support has helped me through these experiences. Thank you for being my best friends, this one’s for you.”

Celia is a junior this year and is thrilled to be in her second production with the Sparta Spotlight Players. Last year she played Gingy in “Shrek The Musical.” When she is not at musical rehearsal, she can still be found in the choir room and auditorium for show choir, vocal jazz, and chamber choir. “I would like to thank this incredible supportive cast as well as our directors, my family, friends, and everyone who has come to support our show.”

Edmund is a freshman this year and this is his first musical production. He’s very excited to be a part of this show with the wonderful cast and crew. “I would like to thank the cast members who have helped me get to the point I am today.”

Connor is a senior at Sparta High and this is his first musical production. He is a member of the Upstage Adrenaline show choir, and he played football for three years. This is the first year he hasn’t and it’s been hard at times for him, but rehearsals have been fun and exciting. Connor plans on attending UW-Eau Claire next year with a musical theater performance degree.

Bri is a junior at the high school this year. This is her second SHS musical, first being “Shrek the Musical” as one of the 3 Blind Mice. Bri has admired the stage ever since she saw “Beauty and the Beast” at SHS. Acting is her passion and preferred career. Bri is in Chamber Choir, loves singing, climbing, and hanging out with her sisters. “I am thankful for my musical family and the directors for giving me the opportunity to perform again.”

Cody is a junior this year. This will be his second production at SHS, the first being “Shrek the Musical” where he played Captain of the Guards and the Bishop. Cody is on the football team, in Upstage Adrenaline show choir, jazz combo, track, karate, and soccer. He would like to thank his supporting parents, and his directors and coaches who have supported him throughout his life.

Adrian Jewell is a senior this year. This is his second production at SHS. He played Shrek in “Shrek the Musical” last fall. This has been a passion for him through his time in Sparta, followed by football, track, tennis, and show choir. Adrian would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support and encouragement through all of high school.

Alayna is a freshman this year. This is her first production with the Sparta Spotlight Players. She is also a member of the Upstage Adrenaline school show choir and Sparta cheer team. She would like to thank everyone who supported her and helped her during rehearsals.

Parker is a freshman at Sparta High School. This is his second production at SHS. He played Papa Bear in “Shrek the Musical” last year. He is a part of Upstage Adrenaline school show choir, as well as basketball and track. He would just like to thank his family, friends and directors for supporting him through everything.

Alli is a senior this year, and "The Addams Family" will be her third and final Fall production. Alli has also been a member of the Upstage Adrenaline show choir throughout high school, and enjoys doing anything music in her free time. After graduation, Alli plans to attend UW-L for a theatre tech major with a minor in music education. She would like to thank her family for endlessly supporting her and her directors for making music her second home. (Soprano 2 Section Leader)

Mackensy is a senior this year. This is her second production with the Sparta Spotlight Players, with her first being the Elf in "Shrek the Musical." As well, this is her first year in Upstage Adrenaline. She wants to thank her parents for being the most supportive, the directors for pushing her to do her absolute best on stage and off, and lastly thank the rest of the cast for making this feel like one big giant family. Mya is a junior this year, The Addams Family will be her third production with Sparta Spotlight Players. In fourth grade, Mya took on the role of Jane in the high school’s production of "Mary Poppins," returning to the stage as Humpty Dumpty and Knight #4 in last year’s "Shrek the Musical."

Faith is a senior this year!! She has been in one other production and that was “Shrek the Musical” were she played Pig #3 and Knight #4. She is also in archery and Upstage Adrenaline show choir. After graduation, she either wants to be a vet tech or a welder. She would like to thank everyone for their support.

Tristin is a sophomore. This is his first SHS production on stage since last year he was in stage crew. He is also in Upstage Adrenaline show choir and Chamber Choir. He enjoys singing, dancing, and annoying his friends. He hopes to continue being in the upcoming musicals. He’s enjoying the time he gets to spend with is second family. “I would like to thank my friends and directors for telling me to join musical, and always pushing me to be my best self.”

Irene is a senior this year. This will be her second SHS production, her first being “Shrek the Musical.” Post graduation, she hopes to double major in psychology and sociology (with a minor in philosophy or Spanish) and eventually go into child psychiatry. “I’d like to thank everyone who’s supported me these past four years, especially my directors for letting me perform one last time; I am eternally grateful for your support!”

Sophia is a freshman this year and this will be her first musical with SHS. She is also in Upstage Adrenaline show choir. She loves singing, dancing, and anything that has to do with music. She could not be more thankful to have this second family. The connection she’s grown with these people is insane. It’s shown her the real world and what it feels like to be supported at school. She could not be more grateful to be a part of something so beautiful.

Max is a senior this year in their second performance at SHS. Last year they were in “Shrek the Musical” as Pinocchio. Max is also involved in marching band, jazz band, and art club. After high school, they want to go to college to become an architect and/or an artist. They are so proud to be a part of such a wonderful and accepting community.

Jackie is a junior this year, this is her 2nd performance at SHS. She previously played White Rabbit in “Shrek The Musical” in her very first performance at SHS. She’s very excited for you all to see this show and all the hard work that has been put into it, and really hopes you have a great time watching. Jackie enjoys being in both musical and Upstage Adrenaline show choir, along with doing makeup and modeling in her free time. “I would like to give a huge shoutout to my Upstage Adrenaline and Theatre family for being so accepting and being the best people to come to when I’m having a rough day.”

Stella is a sophomore this year, and this is her first theatre production. She is also a member of Upstage Adrenaline show choir, and loves being outdoors and with animals. Stella is excited to show what she has learned on the stage and hopes you enjoy the show!

Isaac is a junior this year and this is his second musical at SHS. He played Peter Pan in “Shrek the Musical” last fall. He also loves being a part of the Upstage Adrenaline show choir, as well as playing guitar and piano. He also has a huge love of boy bands! Isaac plans to be a vocal music teacher in his future. Nadia is a sophomore this year. This is her first year participating in the musical, and she's really excited to be a part of it. She is also in Sparta’s Upstage Adrenaline show choir. Nadia likes to draw and pick flowers and herbs in her freetime. “I would like to acknowledge the directors for helping me through some rough patches and Jenna Martin for helping with my on-stage anxiety. And lastly I'd like to thank Demeter Chapman and Io Forsberg for getting me involved in the music department in general.” (Alto Section Leader)

Hello everyone! Ella’s a senior this year in her first production in three years! She’s very excited to be back in the theater scene after her lack of time and Covid-19. This year she’s graduating and is planning on going to college in Whitewater for marine biology. In addition to the musical, she’s in Upstage Adrenaline show choir, and doing show choir for the first time since she was in middle school. She’d like to thank everyone for letting her pursue these interests, especially before she was able to drive herself. Hope you all enjoy the show!

Hello friends! Colby Martin is a freshman, and this is his first production at Sparta High School. Colby is also involved in other after school activities including Upstage Adrenaline show choir, robotics, and golf. “I would like to thank my parents for all their support and a special thanks to my sister, Jenna Martin, for being such a great role model and for getting me into the great world of music.”

Allie is a freshman, and this is her first SHS production. Along with being a part of the musical this year, she is also involved in Upstage Adrenaline show choir, archery, and softball. “I would like to thank my parents, friends, and the directors for helping and supporting me.”

Delia is a freshman at SHS and this is her first production here. She is not only involved in musical but also art club, treble choir, DECA, and soccer. Delia is super excited to be in the musical and looking forward to all the future opportunities and experiences high school has to offer. She would like to thank her parents for being her biggest fans and friends for always being there for her.

Carter is a freshman at SHS. This will be his first production here. He is also a part of cross country, Upstage Adrenaline show choir, robotics, and track. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him through this season. He would also like to thank his directors and fellow cast.

Roman is an 8th grader this year, and this is his second production for SHS; his first being “Shrek the Musical” where he played young Shrek, Baby Bear, and Grumpy. He is involved in multiple extracurricular activities which are golf, basketball, track, and middle school show choir. He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him throughout everything he has done.

Bebe is a freshman in high school, and this is her first time performing at SHS. She is also in volleyball and treble choir. “I would like to thank my parents and friends for being supportive through this process. Also a big thank you to the amazing directors for letting me have this opportunity.”

Derek is a senior and this is his first production. A few things that aren’t new to him are robotics and band. He plans on going to college for Computer Science/Engineering.

Phoebe is a junior in high school. She has been involved with the SHS music program for 3 years now and this will be her second production with the Sparta Spotlight Players and she is very excited! She would like to thank everyone for their support and love.

Alexander is a senior in high school. He was in the shows “Mamma Mia” (ensemble) and “Shrek the Musical” (Pig #1). He would just like to thank everyone who helped with the show (on and off stage). “Thank you for helping us get through the stressful parts of preparing and performing the show. I’m so grateful for having a second family around during my years in high school and hopefully going forward in my next steps in life.”

Tori is a junior this year. She has been involved with the SHS music program for several years, but this is her first production as part of Sparta Spotlight Players. She is a part of Upstage Adrenaline show choir as well as the treble and chamber choir ensembles. She is very excited for this year’s production and can’t wait for you all to see it. “Big thanks to our directors, as well as my family and friends for supporting me!” (Dance Captain)

This is Shealen's senior year but her first year in a musical production. Outside of musical, she is also involved in Upstage Adrenaline show choir, Robotics, Archery, and Volleyball.

Brianna is a sophomore and this is her first production at SHS. Along with the musical, she is also a part of Upstage Adrenaline Show Choir. She wants to thank her Mom for supporting her, and she also wants to thank her theatre family for welcoming her into this second family. She is so excited for everyone to see the show and hopes everyone enjoys it!

Cameron is a junior and this is his second production with Sparta Spotlight Players. Last fall, he was in “Shrek the Musical” where he played the Big Bad Wolf. He’d like to thank his parents for supporting him and his passions. (Bass Section Leader)

Adrian is a junior and this is his second production with Sparta Spotlight Players. His past roles included Pig #2, Duloc Dancer, and a Knight in “Shrek the Musical.” In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing at home, and playing video games on the weekend.
