THE CAT IN THE HAT (Lucas Caron)
Lucas is a sophomore at Southwick Regional School. This will be his fourth production with the SRS Drama Club. When he's not busy practicing for SEUSSICAL, he spends his free time doing work around his community to help make it a better place to live, as well as playing video games and participating in the school Band. He and his fellow cast members have put their heart and soul into this show, and he hopes you enjoy every moment of it!
HORTON THE ELEPHANT (Allison Kingsley)
Allison is a charismatic senior whose Drama Club journey started back in 8th grade when she was chosen to dance with Dorothy in THE WIZARD OF OZ. This was a life-changing moment that created new friendships and sparked her love for theater. Since then, every show has been filled with lasting memories and laughter that she will never forget. The longing anticipation of the next show, to auditioning, to awaiting eagerly for the release of the cast list was something she looked forward to every year. Allison has performed in a total of 9 shows, 3 of which she Assistant Directed, alongside the role of Drama Club Officer. Even in the midst of the pandemic, the expression “the show must go on” prevailed. Allison has worked with some amazing directors over the years, but sends a huge thank you to Mama G and Mr. Quinn for being there since day one. A big thank you to director Shannon Sobolow, choreographer Ms. Fortier, the whole SRS Drama Club family, friends, and family for their support and for making her senior show possible!
GERTRUDE McFUZZ (Jillian Lemon)
This is Jillian’s third show with the SRS Drama Club. After playing Sara Crewe in A LITTLE PRINCESS. She was eager to come back and participate in the musical. she was excited to plunge into a new role and explore singing on stage as Gertrude McFuzz. Sadly this will be her last show at SRS because she is a senior, but she will go on to colleg,e bringing her love for acting with her to future shows.
JOJO (Ella Andrade)
Ella is an 8th grader and is excited to be taking part in SEUSSICAL. This is her second production with SRS, and she is happy to be back after the fall show, A LITTLE PRINCESS. She'd like to thank Reagan McLaughlin and Emma Pomeroy for sharing their Cheez-Its during rehearsal.
MAYZIE LA BIRD (Jaylis López)
Jaylis is beyond excited to be part of her first SRS Drama Club production! She performed in the show SEUSSICAL JR. previously as a Bird Girl and she is very grateful to have been cast as Mayzie La Bird (only as a freshman). She wants to thank all of the staff involved with putting together the show: Ms. Grunwald, Mr. Quinn, Ms. Fortier, and of course, Ms. Sobolow. She has had so much fun working with the cast and crew and is looking forward to future productions. Please look forward to the sassy and fun character she will present on stage, and most of all enjoy the show!
MR. MAYOR (Abigail Grazia)
Abigail is a freshman and is very excited to be back on stage! Her first show was at the Red Door Theatre , where she played Major Marjoram in TIP OF OZ. Since then, she has loved the world of theater! In 2019, she was in REIGN OF THRONES, as The Good Maleficent. In December of 2019 she was in the Red Door Theatre's CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR! The last show she was in was THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL with the Valley Student Theatre, where she played a featured ancestor. (A ghost bride!) Abby recently participated in her first Senior Districts, and had a great time! This summer she will be with Valley Student Theatre again, playing Professor Marvel in THE WIZARD OF OZ! When she is not acting or singing, she is usually at home drawing or playing clarinet. She hopes you enjoy the show!! :)
MRS. MAYOR (Gina Wilson)
Gina is an 8th grader, and this is her second production with SRS. After participating in the previous production, A LITTLE PRINCESS as Becky, she is exited to get back on stage with the friends she made during the fall. She has been acting since she was 9 years old, but she has other hobbies such as drawing and singing. She is a part of the middle school Chorus, and plans to be a part of the high school Chorus next year. She is happy to be back and hopes you enjoy the show she and the rest of the SRS Drama Club have worked so hard on.
SOUR KANGAROO (Reagan McLaughlin)
Reagan is an 8th grader and is thrilled to be playing the part of the Sour Kangaroo in her first in-person spring musical at SRS! She was last seen as Ms. Minchin in the fall play A LITTLE PRINCESS. Reagan loves singing and all things music and is also a member of the SRS Rock Band. Aside from performing, she enjoys Spotify, horseback riding, and snowmobiling. Reagan would like to thank Ms. Grunwald, Mr. Quinn, Mr. Bladyka, Ms. Fortier, Ms. Sobolow and all the cast members for making this production a fun experience! Enjoy the show!
YOUNG KANGAROO (Angelica Kowal)
Angelica is in 7th grade and is participating in her first SRS Musical. Her first experience in acting was with The Red Door Theatre where she played a chick, and many other roles after that. Her latest production was in THE LITTLE PRINCESS with the SRS Drama Club. Outside of the SRS Drama Club, she is a member of the SRS Band, where she plays the Alto Saxophone. She is very thankful for her family and friends, especially her parents, for always supporting her in achieving her dreams. She is looking forward to the show and hopes you enjoy it!

Sophie is currently a sophomore. This will be her fourth production with the SRS Drama Club. She appeared in BYE BYE BIRDIE (Ensemble), IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE (Ensemble), and the 2021 SPRING MUSICAL REVUE (Fairy Godmother) She enjoys construction and singing. Lily Bouchard is an 8th grader This is her second show with the SRS Drama Club and her first musical. She previously was part of the Ensemble in A LITTLE PRINCESS. Lily also is a member of the School Chorus, When she isn't on stage she enjoys writing songs.
BIRD GIRL (Gabby Sanchez)
This is Gabby's first musical, and she is very excited to be in this spring's musical. She has been performing since she was very young and has always loved it. She has been in school plays, drama clubs, and has also attended acting camps. Gabby is also a competitive dancer and has been dancing for nearly ten years. She has competitively danced both regionally and nationally including acrobatics, modern, and jazz.
THE GRINCH (Abbie Austin)
Abbie is an 8th grader this is their first show with the SRS Drama Club. They worked on the set of A LITTLE PRINCESS with Stagecraft and also participate in the School Chorus. Abbie can often be found criticizing anime and manga and enjoys art.

This is Emma’s first show with the SRS Drama Club. She has taken part in Stagecraft and Field Hockey this year as well. Emma would like to thank her mom for convincing her to do this show because it has given her the opportunity to make new friends and start dancing again. She would also like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her in what she loves. She is excited to perform on stage and hopes you enjoy the show.
THING 1 (Aden Braithwaite)
Aden is an 8th grader attending Southwick Regional High School. He is incredibly excited to be performing in his first-ever production, SEUSSICAL. playing Thing #1, as well as a Cadet in specific scenes. Besides Drama Club, he is a part of the middle school Student Council and loves to pursue his interests: writing, acting, dancing, and creating artwork. He hopes you enjoy the show!!

Lillie is currently a sophomore. This will be her fifth production with the SRS Drama Club. She appeared in BYE BYE BIRDIE (Ensemble), IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE (Ensemble), 2021 SPRING MUSICAL REVUE (Scarecrow) and A LITTLE PRINCESS (Ensemble) She enjoys playing the cello, taking care of her lizard and helping out in Stagecraft. CINDY LOU WHO, ENSEMBLE (Marylou Bage)
Marylou is 13 years old and is in seventh grade. This is her second show at SRS. She has been in productions from Red Door Theatre and Valley Student Theatre. This summer she is starring in Valley Student Theatre's production of THE WIZARD OF OZ as Auntie Em. She is very exited to be in this production.

Janelle is on the Unified Basketball and Track teams. She is also a member of the New Horizons Club. She enjoys watching videos and playing with her niece. She takes Tae Kwon Do at Family Martial Arts Academy where she is a high blue belt. She dances hip-hop at All Stars Dance Center.

Sage is an outgoing student and she loves socializing with people. She is a happy person with great energy. This is her first year in Drama Club and this is her first play. She loves to spend time with family and friends outside of drama and school.

Priya is an 8th grader at Southwick Regional. SEUSSICAL is her first show with the SRS Drama Club, where she is part of the Ensemble. Besides doing the musical, she is also part of Stagecraft and Chorus. She hopes that everyone enjoys the musical, and is looking forward to participating in the SRS Drama Club again.

Emalise is an 8th grader. This is her first production with the SRS Drama Club. She likes riding dirt bikes, doing hair and make up, and sleeping.
