Fiddler on the Roof Cast

Seth Johnson (Tevye)
Seth is a senior at South Warren High School and is thrilled to be playing Tevye in his final production here. Seth has previously played Harvey Johnson in Bye Bye Birdie, Jud Fry in Oklahoma, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and Hans in Frozen Jr. Seth is a part of the choral program as well as the concert and marching band at South Warren where he plays trombone and baritone. He has been selected to participate in the WKU Honors band twice, KMEA All District Band three times, as well as the KMEA All State Choir. Seth is also a part of Student Ambassadors, beta club, activate club, and loves spending time with his friends. Seth would like to thank his amazing family and friends for everything they have done to help him grow in his musical career. He would also like to thank his incredible directors for all the guidance and wisdom that they have bestowed to him throughout high school.
Emma Prine (Golde)
Emma Prine is a junior at South Warren High School, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity of playing Golde this year! This will be her 4th show here at South Warren, having been in the ensembles of Oklahoma! and Guys and Dolls, along with playing the Housekeeper in Frozen Jr. this past fall. Outside of her time spent in musical, she enjoys singing with the SWHS Chamber Choir and has attended various choral events, including the ACDA Honors Choir and the KMEA All-State Choir. She would like to thank her parents, Amanda and James Prine, the friends (and secondary family) she’s met within this program, and her directors for their unwavering support and encouragement.
Jenna Claire Reneau (Yente)
Jenna is a senior at South Warren and is overjoyed to be playing Yente in Fiddler on the Roof. Jenna has previously been in Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls, and Frozen Jr. at South. Jenna is a proud member of the SWHS Choir, Activate Club, Beta Club, and her youth group. Jenna would like to thank her family, friends, and incredible directors for all their love and support throughout high school. She hopes you enjoy South Warren’s production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Zoe Kate Jones (Tzeitel)
Zoe Kate is a senior and is so honored to be playing Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof! She has previously been in 4 musicals at SWHS: Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma (Ellen), Guys and Dolls (Agatha), and Frozen (Elsa). Zoe Kate is president of the choir council, field commander for the marching band, and co-directs show choir with Emma Beavers. She is also a member of the Spanish Honors Society at SWHS. Zoe Kate has been selected for KMEA All State Choir each year in high school. She was also chosen for ACDA Honors Choir. Outside of musical, she enjoys playing piano, ukulele, and guitar, hanging out with her youth group, reading, and baking. Zoe Kate would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her, and the amazing directors who have always believed in her. She is so excited for everyone to see the show!
Brayden Givens (Motel)
Brayden is a senior and has participated in the SWHS musical program for the last 4 years, first as a part of the ensemble in Bye Bye Birdie! then Cord Elam in Oklahoma! He has also played Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls and Oaken in Frozen Jr. Brayden is very involved in the SWHS music department; he is a member of the Chamber Choir, along with the Wind Ensemble and Marching Band where he plays Trumpet. Brayden has also participated in many choral events such as UofL Honors Choir and All-State Choir. Brayden would like to thank his family and friends for being huge supporters of his musical journey and convincing him to join his freshman year. He can’t wait to see what the future of the music program has to offer.
Brayden Bowers (Perchik)
Brayden Bowers is a senior, returning for his 4th and final show at South Warren High School as Perchik. Previously, Brayden has played Will Parker in Oklahoma!, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls, and Kristoff in Frozen Jr. He is very excited for this cast and grateful for every person he has gotten to grow with throughout his theatre career at South Warren. He would like to especially thank the directors for their extreme commitment and passion for the program and each musical, both at and away from practice.
Cole Johnson (Fyedka)
Cole is a sophomore at South Warren High School and is thrilled to be playing Fyedka in this year’s production of Fiddler on the Roof! He’s previously been a part of the ensemble in last year’s production of Guys and Dolls. Cole is a part of the concert and marching band programs at South Warren, playing trumpet. He is part of the Wind Ensemble as well as a two-time selection for the KMEA All-District Band. He is also a part of the beta club as well as a black belt at Arumaru Martial Arts Center. Cole would like to thank his friends and family for being great inspiration and guiding him in his musical career. He would like to thank his amazing directors as well for their guidance and work ethic towards the musical program.
Jonas Hosay (Rabbi)
Jonas is a senior and is excited to return for his third musical at South Warren. He is also is involved in 4-H, and is member of South Warren Wind Ensemble, Chamber Choir, and Marching Band. He would like to thank his family, musical directors, and his fellow cast members for all of their support.
Henry Wade Gipson (Constable)
Henry Wade Gipson is a senior at South Warren High School. Henry will be playing The Constable in this year's spring musical. Fiddler on the Roof is his 5th musical at South Warren. He has performed various roles in Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma!, and Guys and Dolls. Outside of musicals Henry participates in the Marching Band, Concert Band, the Chamber Choir, Student Ambassadors, and takes private lessons at BG Rock Band Academy. He also is an Eagle Scout in the Scouts BSA program, and is a Worship Minister at the Franklin Church of Christ. Henry would like to thank his parents, Brian and Tawnya Gipson, his older brother Scott Gipson(for getting him to do choir and musicals), his friends, and his church family for all the support and time that they have put into helping him obtain his goals. Lastly Henry would like to thank all of the directors for all their hard work in and outside of the musical.
Emma Beavers (Hodel)
Emma is a senior and this is her 6th show with the SWHS musical program, with her most recent role being Anna in Frozen Jr. She has also played a Hot Box dancer in last year’s production of Guys and Dolls. Emma also is a part of the SWHS Chamber Choir and co-leads the SWHS Show Choir with Zoe Kate Jones! When she’s not on the stage performing, she is with her church’s youth group! She would like to thank her vocal coach Beth Pope and her fellow seniors in the musical program for their constant support and helping her get to where she is today. Emma also like to give special thanks to her family for always encouraging her throughout every aspect in her life and specifically to her mom who has been a huge inspiration to her as she has grown up!
Amelia Cothran (Chava )
Amelia is a junior at SWHS. This is her fifth musical with the program. She is thrilled to be playing Chava this spring. Her hobbies include singing, playing trumpet, knitting, baking and watching basketball. She is also a member of Grace and Peace Presbyterian Church, National Beta Club, and SWHS marching band. She would like to thank her family and friends for being her biggest inspiration and supporting her in her musical endeavors.
