Milena Gligic
Milena Gligić is a Los Angeles based vocalist and pianist originally from Belgrade, Serbia. She is a recent alumna of the Young Artist Program at LA Opera where she worked as a pianist on several mainstage productions under Placido Domingo and James Conlon. She is often a pianist for productions with the LA Phil, The Industry and the Pacific Opera Project. Milena has performed with major professional choirs in the US: the LA Master Chorale, Washington Bach Consort and Collegiate Chorale in NYC. Well-versed in new and experimental music, she is a member of the Contemporaneous ensemble and Chorosynthesis choir. Her singing background is versatile as she studied and performed in many styles: operatic, jazz, pop and Balkan ethno. She has a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano from the University of Maryland and she is specialized in working with singers on vocal repertoire in many different languages.

Britta Sterling
Having trained in stage directing under Dana Case, Britta’s keen eye for storytelling brings a unique edge to every project. Her work includes productions across opera, chamber music, and theater with companies like Independent Opera Company, Glendale Centre Theatre, Mission Opera, Savannah Symphony Chorus, and more. In addition to her directorial work, Britta made her debut as a librettist alongside Rae Shrum, having written the English libretto for Sancta Susanna. As a soprano, Britta has performed with many opera companies and choral ensembles including CSUN Opera Theater, Glendale Centre Theatre, Mission Opera, Mesopotamian Opera, Independent Opera, the Savannah Symphony Chorus, and the Roger Wagner Chorale.

Caleb Yanez Glickman
Praised for his superb leadership of the orchestra, Caleb Yanez Glickman (he/him) was recently appointed as the new Music Director of Opera Modesto. His recent conducting of Le Nozze di Figaro was acclaimed as sounding “as fresh as the day it premiered.” Since 2023, he has conducted several productions with Pacific Opera Project in Los Angeles quickly becoming one of their mainstay conductors. In addition, Caleb has recently worked with Opera Southwest, Spoleto Festival USA, Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Opera in the Ozarks, Opera Saratoga, and Savannah Opera. Caleb is also a zealous advocate for bringing classical music to new audiences. He has worked on several of Michael Ching’s operas, regularly conducted world premiere operas, and conceived of the gender-bent production of William Schuman’s The Mighty Casey with the Lyric Opera of Orange County.

Pianist
Alyssa French
Alyssa French is a pianist hailing from Santa Monica, California. She earned her Associate of Arts in Percussion Performance from Santa Monica College before transferring to California State University, Northridge (CSUN) for her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance.Looking towards the future, Alyssa plans to pursue a Masters (MM) degree in Collaborative Piano at CSUN. Alyssa has won several awards and competitions, including the Elite International Competition, which earned her a solo performance at Weill Hall in Carnegie Hall. She has also competed and won awards at the InterHarmony Music Festival in Italy and the Two Cranes Festival in China. In addition to her performance career, Alyssa is an experienced rehearsal pianist and teacher. She currently teaches privately in Santa Monica and holds positions at several different schools, including Calabasas High School and Heritage Christian School. She is also an accompanist, working with the Hazamir Jewish Choir and City of Angels Community Choir (COACC).
