Doors for the event open at 5:45pm with a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, and dessert. The performance begins at 7:00 pm, which includes a movement piece and a presentation of Lindsay Price's Ths Phne 2.0: The Next Generation, a vignette play that looks at 21st-century communication: Blog your innermost thoughts; Break up by text; Express your deepest emotions through LOL's and smilies. 

Six Rivers Charter High School is a unique place that combines the RIGOR and CREATIVE opportunities of a large high school while maintaining a small SUPPORTIVE learning community. In essence, Six Rivers has captured and put into practice the best elements of charter schools and traditional high schools. At Six Rivers a balance has been established between RIGOROUS college-prep classes and a small setting that values COLLABORATIVE learning and COMMUNITY. With class sizes of around 28, each teacher gets to know every student and addresses their needs. As the mission states, Six Rivers seeks to focus on and educate the whole student. 
In addition to its own rich electives, Six Rivers' students have the opportunity to EXPLORE classes and play sports at Arcata High School. As a result, the small environment of Six Rivers does not limit the chance for students to CREATIVELY explore the classes that fit their interests.
