About Jason Blaine
Jason Blaine brings country hits with hometown heart to Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 3rd.
Jason Blaine:
Nashville-based country artist Jason Blaine has built an international career as both a recording artist and respected Nashville songwriter. Originally from Pembroke, Ontario, Blaine has earned over 30 million combined streams, more than 13 Top 10 singles, and multiple CCMA, SOCAN, and CMAO awards. His heartfelt hit “Dance With My Daughter” was featured nationally on Good Morning America in 2021. As a songwriter, his songs have been recorded by Brantley Gilbert, Scotty McCreery, Parmalee, Chris Janson, Luke Bryan, and Colt Ford. In 2023 he completed his first European tour, headlining Country Rock Fest in Salardú, Spain.
Ben Henry and The Auto Club:
Locally known as Ben Garson of Outrider Dogs, Ben is also the lead singer of the band Ben Henry and the Auto Club. In the early 2000s, Ben and guitarist Aaron Thal formed the band Instrument. They played the stages of festivals like The Warped Tour and alongside national acts, then parted ways to pursue other endeavors. While Ben established a career in the field of canine behavioral rehabilitation, Aaron sailed some of the most prestigious tall ships on the east coast. And so it went for nearly fifteen years until, in the heat and sweat and claustrophobia of a Kentucky music festival crowd, music came calling once again. Ben and Aaron, now joined by drummer Mark Sperandio and bassist Dan Pilver, found a new vision. A collision of Americana and Shoegaze.
