A Midsummer Night's Dream Cast

Fairy (Emma Romero)
Emma has always had a love for performing arts. She has been in dance class since the age of six and enjoys being on the stage and entertaining. Emma enjoys going to Broadway shows with her family. This has really inspired her love for theatre. She was introduced to Sierra Vista Community Theatre last year by her cousin and she helped assist with Into the Woods, Jr.
Musician (Charlotte Walter)
Charlotte Walter is twelve years old and only started doing theater a little over a year ago when her family first moved to Sierra Vista. Since then, she has learned to love theater and has been in four shows. She is pleased to be working with the amazing actors at SVCT and hopes to continue performing for a long time.
Puck (Ken Davis)
Ken is a veteran of the SVTC, having been lucky enough to be cast in several plays over the years. He creates havoc and chaos wherever he goes, and so, was clearly type cast to play Puck. This is his second Shakespearean production. He hopes you have as much fun the watching the show and he has putting it on.
Hermia (Olivia Losos)
Olivia Losos grew up modeling since she was 7 and dabbled in commercial work for local companies. She was an extra in a few TV shows such as Devious Maids. Olivia never thought of herself as an actress but decided to take Acting 101 at Cochise College. After a semester Dave Dahl suggested that she try out for Mid-summer night’s dream even though she had never tried out for theater before.
Fairy (Zuleika Villafane)
Zuleika Villafane, AKA zuly, is a bright and energetic actress raised (but not born) in Sierra Vista. She has played a variety of roles, from a "manly" pirate to a French maid. When she is not acting, she sings on stage as a soprano 1st. At home, she is an avid reader, living with her supportive family and her sweet yorkie, Ziggy. She is striving for an elementary or special education teacher. This is Zuly's first Shakespeare production.
Lysander (Scott Hamilton)
Scott Hamilton has been part of the theatre arts community for the past eight years. Originally from Hawaii, he has studied the arts at Cochise College Master Acting Classes. His experiences involve acting, screenwriting and directing. He is credited with films such as The Righteous Twelve, Highway 666, and Firesides Tales. He is thankful to the Sierra Vista Community Theatre and Dave Dahl for this opportunity to finally be able to perform Shakespeare on stage!
Snug (Ryan Gann)
My name is Ryan Gann-Martin. I have lived in Sierra Vista my whole life. I never did theatre in school , but wish I had. This is my first play, and I'm very excited. I have 2 degrees in Cyber Security and am going for a Master's and PhD in the same subject with the intent to become a professor. I look forward to the play and working with everyone.
Bottom (Mike Buck)
Mike first fell in love with theater when a pretty lady caught his eye as she walked into the theater classroom in high school. There was clearly only one natural action to take- he had to sign up for the same class! Although no relationship came to blossom out of his choice to sign up for the class, the acting bug bit Mike and he has passionately invested his time into performing on the stage ever since. While studying Political Science at University, Mike performed in over 15 shows ranging between Shakespeare to dramas and comedies. His favorite roles that he has had the honor to portray include Westley from The Princess Bride, Sebastian from Twelfth Night and Walter Burns from The Front Page. Mike joined Sierra Vista Community Theater in January of 2021 and has acted in See How they Run as Lionel Toop, Love Rides the Rails as Truman Pendennis, The Colors of Blackmail as Costello, Rocky in the Rocky Horror Show and most recently too many wigs and women to name in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). Mike is a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army and works at Fort Huachuca. Mike vehemently believes that the arts are important and chooses to give his free time to help support the promotion of theater in Sierra Vista and hopes to move and inspire audiences in the local community.
Hippolyta (Sierra Wright)
Sierra was a theatre nerd in high school (but not as big as her boyfriend), She was involved in all the High school productions. In 10th grade she did Midsummer Night's Dream as a man because she was taller than all the girls. She has been involved in the Sierra Vista Community Theater for the last year. When not at the theatre, she can be found with her family and all her animals in the small zoo she has created.
Titania (Stephanie Whipple)
My name is Stephanie Whipple and I am a college student. I grew up participating in children’s theater. Now I’m navigating my way through the Sierra Vista Community Theater.
Flute (Brady Silk)
Brady has loved being involved with theatre ever since he first stepped foot onstage at Buena High School in his first show Shrek the Musical! He loves all aspects of theatre and has been in many productions. He is happy he was able to find this theatre when they performed Rocky and got to help out with tech. He has mainly been on the tech side of the Community Theatre, but now he's excited to do some acting! Now he loves being a part of this theatre and helping where he can as he pursues an education in Nursing!
Starveling (Andrea Zavala)
Andrea has been involved in the theater for most of her life. She achieved her Associates of Arts in Theater at Orange Coast Community college. She performed in Babes in Toy Land, Dark at the Top of the Stairs, Spoon River Anthology, and Amadeus. She transferred to CSU, Long Beach and acquired her Bachelor's of Arts in Performance Theater, where she performed in Hair, Galileo, Little Shop of Horrors, Rain, and Much Ado About Nothing. Andrea continues to be involved in community theater and is now here with Sierra Vista Community Theater!
Demetrius (Gabriel Gast)
Gabriel Gast is a Brazilian American from Sierra Vista who learned to love acting at Buena High School. He played Jim in The Glass Menagerie and Giles Ralston in The Mousetrap with Bisbee Obscure Productions. He's done several shows with Theater On The Move including Sherlock Holmes and the Suicide Club. He played Angelo in Measure For Measure and Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night at Cochise College. Now he mostly does shows with The Sierra Vista Community Theater including playing the Bellhop in Lend Me A Tenor and Tom in Nana's Naughty Knickers. He currently works as an actor at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, AZ.
Snout (Jordon Schaaf)
Jordon Schaaf was sentenced to Actors Anonymous to cure him of the terrible affiliction that plauged him, instead he wander into auditions for this show. He is happy that his sixth role with this company is a wall.
Oberon (Newton McDaniel)
Newton McDaniel started their stage life at 3 years old in the Sierra Vista Ballet. In high school they were involved, mainly backstage, with any production they could. After moving back from Phoenix, where they preformed in the AZ Ren Faire, they found the SVCT. Helping backstage here and there, and even performing in a few shows including Rocky Horror, playing Riff Raff.
Fairy (Makenzi Arons)
Makenzi Arons has been performing in the theater for 13 years. With some favorite roles including Roxy Blueballs in Death can Ruin your Day, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz and Toto Too, and Lester Moore in the Boothill Graveyard Ghouls. Makenzi likes to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys working with everyone at the Sierra Vista Community Theater and can’t wait to be on stage with them again!
Egeus (Corey Miller)
Grunt Grunt, Corey is the volunteer Master Carpenter at the theater. You’ll usually find him covered in saw dust, paint, and scratches at the theater. He designs and builds complex sets such as Rumors and is always looking for new volunteers to join his crew and help build. Corey has also volunteered as an actor and is new to acting. He has played as Schmidt in Nanas Naughty Knickers and acted in our Christmas Show 2021. Outside of the theater, Corey as a passion for education and leadership. He graduated the University of Arizona in 2020 with a bachelor’s in organizational leadership and is pursuing a master’s in organizational management. He is a competitive person in sports and gaming.
Fairy (Emma Tollefson)
I am Emma Tollefson, and this is the third play I have performed in. Sierra Vista Community Theater helped me realize my love of acting through the play Into the Woods Jr., which was the first play I was ever involved in. I am beyond thankful to everyone at this theater for introducing me to drama, and I am really excited to be performing for you all once again. I hope to continue acting for many years to come!
Quince (Vanessa Call)
Vanessa has always had a "mild" obsession with theater and acting. In second grade a million years ago, she managed to convince her teacher the entire class needed to perform a play that was cast, directed and of course starred Vanessa. Since then she cursed the school's theater department with her enthusiasm and "talent". For many years she was a lucky member of the amazing Myart - Musical Youth Artist Repertory Theatre; a non profit family theatre in LA and Orange counties. Vanessa also was a part of S.P.A. (School of Performing Arts) in Huntington Beach, CA. Vanessa is excited to be back on stage with SVCT. She is survived by her 2 wonderful children... oh wait, wrong bio... er, Enjoy the show!!!!
Helena (Haley Bright)
Haley was raised in a family of performers and has loved being on stage since her first role in a musical at age 11. She has acted, sung, and danced for productions in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, California, and now Arizona. Her favorite roles include: Aracely in The Road to RMI, Taffeta in Art for a Steal, and Rizzo in Grease. This is her first production with SVCT, and she is grateful to the amazing director, cast, and crew for such a wonderful experience.
Theseus (Jeremy Heisner)
We couldn't keep Jeremy off the stage if we wanted to. But we like him there. Jeremy Heisner is very excited about being able to work with and share the stage with such a talented bunch of people. He is one head of SVCT’s fantastic Youth Theatre committee and also an active board member. He has been roaming around the stage for about 25 years and has played everything from Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Tom Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, and Dr. Watson in Baskerville. When he's not busy doing theatre things he loves spending time with his wonderful girlfriend, Sierra and his amazing four kids, Marc, Tyler, Allie, and Ashley. For the last 4 years he moonlights during the day as an IT support specialist for Chiricahua Community Health Centers.
