About Honk!
HONK! is a delightful and uplifting retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Ugly Duckling." With music by George Stiles and lyrics by Anthony Drewe, HONK! has captivated audiences worldwide with its charming characters, catchy songs, and powerful message of self-acceptance. HONK! follows the journey of Ugly, a unique bird who is ostracized by his peers for looking different. Through a series of adventures, heartwarming encounters, and humorous twists, Ugly discovers his true self and learns that being different is something to be celebrated. This enchanting musical is filled with vibrant characters, from the loving mother Ida to the sly Cat, the pompous Turkey, and the supportive Bullfrog, each bringing their own flair to this timeless story.

At the Sensory-Friendly Performance on Saturday, November 9, we welcome individuals with sensory needs, including people on the autism spectrum, as well as first-time theatergoers and young children. The house lights will remain dimmed during the performance, rather than completely off. The intensity of lighting, sound, and special effects will be reduced. The lobby will remain open for anyone who needs to take a break from the show. There will be a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere where patrons can feel comfortable to move around during the performance, as well as freely enter or exit the theater during the performance.
At the Pay-What-You-Can Performance on Saturday, November 16, you will see the option to select a “pay-what-you-can ticket." This pay-what-you-can ticket is designed to facilitate financial accessibility. We invite members of our community who would otherwise face financial burden due to regular ticket prices to either attend the performance for free or pay a discounted flexible rate by making a donation in whatever amount is feasible and comfortable. Our regular prices are $18 for Adults/General Admission, $12 for Students/Staff/Seniors, and $8 for Children Under 12. We appreciate any contribution you are able to make to help support the cost of the production.
