Yosa (Pridamant)Yosa is a Seattle-based singer and actor from Bangkok, Thailand. He is excited to be making his Seattle Central debut. Past Credits include Toby in Sweeney Todd (Sarah Lawrence College), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Center Theater), and Guest Vocalist in Madeline & Friends (Don’t Tell Mama). Thanks to parents Deb and Geoff!
Vrindha (U/S Pridamant )Vrindha, a model and dancer, made her stage acting debut in Love and Information in the year 2024. Though this is her second foot in the theatre door, she has been performing on stage for years. She started dancing at the age of four and has learnt a variety of forms, in the month of March she even brought dance to the Drunken Owl Theatre. She has a lot of talents up her sleeve including event management, hosting, marketing, singing and teaching. She thanks her family for being so supportive of her endeavors.
Kai Southard (The Amanuesis)A life long Seattle resident, Kai (He/him) is ecstatic to play the Amenuensis in this
production for his final quarter at Seattle Central. Previously Kai appeared in Seattle Central's production of Love & Information, as well as Seattle Rep's production of Skin of Our Teeth. Kai would like to thank his Dad for inspiring him to take the plunge and begin acting.
Robin Adams (U/S The Amanuesis)Robin is new to Seattle and theatre in general. She studied at the University of Tulsa in her hometown before coming to Seattle Central. She’s been interested in theatre for some time, and decided to follow her heart and actively pursue her passion. Her hobbies include listening to music, playing boardgames, learning history, dancing, and seeing friends.
Maddie Roberts (Alcandre)Maddie has been acting since she was 4 years old with some of her more notable roles being Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Teddy in Peter and the Starcatcher, & Sharpay in High School Musical. She also does standup and improve comedy. In addition to performing, she also has experience in all aspects of technical theater, especially costuming, sound, and stage management. Huge thanks to her partner, Peter Malmanger, for being supportive!
Jordan Backschies (U/S Alcandre )Jordan has been doing theatre since they were 5. They were first cast as Lucy in a summer camp production of The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe! Since then, they have played Rizzo, Mrs Potts, and many more. This year they are moving to BC for acting school at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts and they're very excited! Enjoy the show!
Finnick Burke (Calisto/ Clindor/ Theogenes)Finnick began doing theater in 2011 with the childrens’ play Beauty Lou & and the Country Beast at 11 years old. They have performed in several shows, like August: Osage County and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. They took a very long break from performing and are ecstatic to return.
Clover Zurek (U/S Calisto/ Clindor/ Theogenes)Clover has experience on stage as a musician and audio engineer. This will be their first time acting in a stage production. When not taking drama classes, they can be found on local bike trails or watching and making films. They release music under the name Friends of Big Smokey.
Chochi Smiley (Melibea/ Isabelle/ Hippolyta)Chochi is new to Seattle’s theater scene. She began acting in her first production as Little Bo Peep and a princess in elementary school. Since then, Chochi moved on to high school performances. For her senior year, she played The Girl in The Brother’s Grimm as well as Janis in Mean Girls, having a wild time in both. Playing Melibia in The Illusion is Chochi’s first college level production. She’s so excited to have had this opportunity and hopes this fuels her future goals!
Buppie Antonio (U/S Melibea/ Isabelle/ Hippolyta )Buppie started doing theater in 6th grade when they were in the musical Honk! They continue to follow their passion for theater at Seattle Central College, and they were most recently in The Clockwork Professor by Maggie Lee with Seattle Public Theater. Buppie would like to thank their boyfriend for supporting them, and themself for going to therapy.
Eloise Maguire (Elicia/ Lyse/ Clarina)Eloise is returning to theatre after a brief hiatus from performing and couldn’t be more thrilled to be doing it with this cast and crew. She is a Seattle actress, singer, producer, and director who was last seen as Donna in Mamma Mia at Roosevelt High School and co-directing The Untold Yippie Project at Young Americans’ Theatre Company. She wants to thank her endlessly supportive family and Aiden Deem for being a scene partner since 2018.
Aaliyah Kois Jacob (U/S Elicia/ Lyse/ Clarina)Aaliyah has been performing for as long as she can remember, whether through theater, music, spoken work, or dance. She is currently perusing a degree in psychology and theater and is excited to see the ways they can work together. This is Aaliyah’s second time being evolved in an SCC production and she can’t wait to continue expanding her skills in theater.
Aidan Deem (Pleribo/ Adraste/ Prince Florilame)Aidan started in theater during his senior year of high school and instantly fell in love with the craft. Prior to taking part in The Illusion, he has been an ensemble member in Roosevelt High School's A Chorus Line and Ballyhoo's production of Heathers. Outside of acting, Aidan cooks professionally and enjoys frequent Golden Girls rewatching. He would like to thank his amazing family and friends, and also Eloise Maguire for dancing with him in the realm of coincidence since 2018.
Isaac Huff (U/S Pleribo/ Adraste/ Prince Florilame)Issac is in his first year at Seattle Central and getting his AA in drama. He’s been active in theater since he was young, spending his late teens performing high school productions and local youth theater. Some previous roles include Sylvia in the As You Like It musical, Ms. Casewell in The Mousetrap, and various others. He’s looking forward to seeing you in the attendance!
Eli Anderson (Matamore)Eli is excited to be back and performing after a 7 year acting absence. He has performed in West Side Story and Sherlock Holmes in middle school and is ready to see what acting as an adult is like. Eli wants to give a special shoutout to his dad for keeping acting a constant part of his life, his partner for pushing and pushing him to try out and, of course friends and family for encouraging him despite his constant anxiety
Amir Elmi (U/S Matamore)Amir is a dancer/model/actor. Amir did drama in high school and was part of ASB & Dance Team. Amir was also the sound tech in Love & information in 2024. This Year Amir is the understudy for Matamore. The one and only, Xae Amir.
