Co-Director/Scenic Designer
Ken TiradoKen Tirado has been associated with SVPT since its first season in 1979. He has acted, directed, and designed for over 45 years. Ken, for over a decade,
directed “Ferry Plays” for Sundog Theatre, and last year directed and designed “Tally’s Folly”
here at Sea View. Ken hosts “Staten Island Arts Talk” for MakerParkRadio and is currently on
the Board of the Staten Island Arts.

Co-Director/Sound Designer
Gabrielle CanciGabrielle Canci is a Staten Island/NYC–based actor, director, and writer. Her recent directing credits include Suddenly Last Summer at Sea View Playwright's Theatre, The Elevator Game by Helene Montagna (Women’s Playwright
Collective’s Sixth Annual Not Forgotten Play Festival, Winner, Audience Pick), and Jesus Burger: A Radio Play with Sundog Theatre. She will next direct Sylvia by A.R. Gurney at Seaview in 2026. As an actor, Gabrielle has appeared in The Cherry Orchard, Intimate Apparel, Once Upon a
Time: A Radio Play, Angels in America, Parts One and Two, The Rose Tattoo, All My Sons, Emporium: A Radio Play, and A View from the Bridge. Her performance work informs her directing, grounding it in physicality, rhythm, and the lived experience of the actor.
Her original play, The Property of Dr. Lana Lee Lewis, will be presented in the Women’s Playwright Collective with Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre Company as part of the Not Forgotten Play Festival in August 2026.

Lighting Designer
Michael SomogyiMichael Somogyi is SVPT's Master Electrician and resident Lighting Designer. He has designed lights for many shows here over the past years and is always happy to be involved and a part of the Sea View Playwright's Theatre team.

Costume Designer
Nora ShvartsbergNora Shvartsberg is ecstatic to be a part of this talented production
as the lead costume designer as she is incredibly passionate about vintage fashion/period pieces.
Nora is also a professional model, local actor, and stylist. She dabbles in many mediums and
when she’s not performing, she owns her Brand by Nora.s offering services in styling, wardrobe
and modeling coaching. Recent costume design and assistance includes Once the Musical (Little
Victory Theatre) assistant on Vita & Virginia (Sea View Playwright’s), Pinkalicious the musical
(Illuminart), Suddenly Last Summer (Sea View Playwright’s), and assistant costume designer
The Rise and Fall of Falstaff (Ghostlight Players). She is grateful to be a part of assisting this
production and cultivating a fashionable vision come to life! Thank you Gabrielle and Ken, cast
