Amelia Dunne (Avella DeGennaro)
(Senior) thinks 's wonderful, 's marvelous that she gets to portray the one and only Amelia Dunne (aka Amelia D. Everly aka Ollie aka Richard "Dick" Smith) in this deliciously whimsical production. Her favorite contributions to SDA theatre have been portraying the beloved Beth in Little Women and sound designing for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In her free time, Avella enjoys reading, watching movies, and overanalyzing everything.
Lily Moore (Ella Darlington)
(Senior) feels so lucky to be a part of this wonderful show. She has been acting since elementary school and has been involved with SDA Theater since her freshman year. Her all-time favorite roles to play were Mrs. Peacock in Clue: On Stage at SDA and Lucy Van Pelt in A Charlie Brown Christmas with North Coast Repertory Theater. In addition to acting, she is also a dedicated technician. She has been on many different tech crews over the years, and was Props Master for The Haunting of Hill House and Myth-O-Logues. She would like to thank Molly and Hailey for putting their hearts into such an amazing show, and hopes you enjoy it as much as she does.
Atkins (Simon Lagrange)
(Senior) is so thrilled for everyone to see this show. It should be an absolute delight and extremely frivolous. His favorite role in theatre has been playing Rumpelstiltskin and the King in "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon." When he is off the stage, Simon has many hobbies and activities that he enjoys doing; such as reading, writing poetry, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and of course, cuddling with his adorable dog Lucie. His favorite part of rehearsal has been working on designing the sound for this production, regardless of how daunting a task it was, interacting with others on set, and just playing this absolutely insane but simultaneously comical character.
Taxi Driver (Brandon Feffer)
(Senior) is incredibly honored to bring the taxi driver to life for his last show at SDA! He is immensely grateful to have gotten the opportunity to experience the growth of this play, and requests autographs from Hailey and Molly once they are famous playwrights. He will forever cherish the experiences and memories he has gathered in this theater program, for they are truly special and have helped him to become the person he is today. Oliver Dunne (Keegan McGowan)
(Junior) is so excited to be playing the role of Oliver in this production of Oh Ollie! He has seen this show grow and is so grateful for the opportunity to help our directors Hailey and Molly fully realize their vision of this production.
Radio Man (Kyle Rigby)
(Sophomore) is currently 16 years old. He is from Akashi, Japan and moved to Carlsbad when he was but a wee lad. He's always enjoyed acting and this marks his second year in SDA's theater course. In his free time, Kyle will often play volleyball, watch movies, play games and hangout with friends. Kyle is a raging chocoholic and loves all types of chocolate. He'll devour anything so please give him some.. please..?
Diana Morgans (Käthe Andranian)
(Senior) has loved being a part of her nineteenth and final SDA production. Her favorite role at SDA has been Miss Scarlet (Clue). She most recently played Kathryn Schaub and the Reporter in Radium Girls (Groundworks Theatre). She has also done tech for many shows, with roles such as Film Editor (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Myth-O-Logues), Publicity Manager (Mamma Mia!; Failure: A Love Story; Every Brilliant Thing), and Dramaturg (Little Women, The Haunting of Hill House). This summer, she will appear in A Midsummer Night's Dream with Groundworks Theatre before going to Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
Employee #1/Atkins Understudy (Connor Overton)
(Junior) is proud to be a part of Oh, Ollie! He has been in five shows at SDA with his favorite being Mr. Laurence in Little Women. His favorite passions are video games, marine biology, and speech and debate (He is on the team!). When not on the stage, he enjoys doing stage construction and managing props. Connor has been in about 30 shows in his lifetime from multiple theater companies. Don't make him move to Calabasas, California. Ey!
Ruth (Taylor Rohrbaugh)
(Freshman) is so excited to be in this production of Oh Ollie! Taylor is 14 years old and loves to dance and act. She has helped with Clue after school in the fall and she was in the one acts for Acting 1. She has also done other plays in elementary school and does a lot of dance after school.
Noreen (Kai Betita)
(Junior) is very excited to be playing Noreen in this fabulous show! He has had a passion for theatre as long as he can remember and has been in various other SDA shows, including (but not limited to) Clue, Little Women, and Pippin. When he's not on stage he enjoys cooking, traveling, and drinking alarming amounts of iced coffee. He hopes you have as much fun watching the show as he had working on it.
Hank/Oliver Understudy (Garrett DeLorme)
(Sophomore) is 16 years old and this is his first production at SDA. He is on the school Varsity soccer team. Outside of school, he plays the guitar and loves to surf, play golf, and spend time with his friends. He loves to watch Ted Lasso and the Office. He is very excited to be a part of his first play at this school!
Amelia's Mother (Charlotte Jaffe)
(Freshman) began her journey of play acting around the age of 7 and has continued to stay in the theatrical community since then. She enjoys the community that shares the same interests as her and looks forward to many more performances in the future.
Actress/Diana Understudy (Martina Nespor)
(Junior) is very excited to be a part of this student written show! This is her second year in the SDA drama program, her first show being "The Proposal mix up" as Stacey. Aside from acting in the production, she is part of the lighting crew which helped set up the scene and grid lights. She loved every part of the rehearsal process, especially learning dances and meeting new people. When she is not on stage, she loves playing volleyball, painting, and cooking.
Actor/Radio Man Understudy (Jeremiah Kurle-Marcotte)
(Freshman) is very exited to perform in the production of Oh, Ollie, and other productions in the future. His favorite past role is Hamlet in an excerpt from Hamlet. When he's not on stage he likes to play board games, read, and go for runs. His favorite part of the rehearsal process has been learning about how to be a better actor, working on the sets behind the scenes, and rehearsing his role in the play with his friends.
Jazz Singer (Isabella Thierry)
(Senior) is feeling bittersweet that this is her final SDA production. Some of her past credits include Marmee in Little Women (San Dieguito Academy) and Carmen Bernstein in Curtains (Ovation Theatre). When not on stage, she enjoys taking voice lessons, dancing, reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family. She wants to thank Molly and Hailey for giving her the opportunity to be a part of their show, as well as the cast and crew of Oh, Ollie for making her final SDA show one to remember. After graduating, Isabella plans to take a gap year and then attend a four year university in the fall of 2023, where she’ll major in communication studies and minor in theater.
Man (Kaitlyn Kopensky)
(Junior) is extremely passionate about theatre and dreams of becoming a performer when they're older. She spends a lot of her time drawing, reading, and listening to music. He loves singing and dancing along to his favorite musicals.
Urbanite/Employee #1 Understudy (Bryn McCarren)
(Sophomore) is very excited to be a part of Oh! Ollie! Shes an ensemble member for this show which is great cause she gets to take part in all of the excitement without having to memorize lines! He hopes you all have a whimsical time watching this production which truly lives up to our schools reputation and standards!
Amelia Understudy/Taxi Driver Understudy (Hailey Armentrout)
(Junior) co-directed and began to co-write Oh, Ollie! with her dear friend, Molly Garot, in 2019. This show is something she will always keep close to her heart and she’s forever grateful for Molly, who she couldn’t have done this without. With plans to attend film school after high school, she hopes this will help showcase some of her abilities! She cannot begin to express the gratitude she has for this cast and crew and feels so lucky to have had this opportunity. She hopes to see you there!
Lily Understudy (Molly Garot)
(Junior) is incredibly thankful for the opportunity of producing “Oh, Ollie!” and is even more ecstatic for you to watch it! This is her 4th time co-directing with her talented friend, Hailey Armentrout, who co-wrote this show with Molly. She is the president of SDA’s film club and aspires to be a screenwriter-director. She thanks her father, Mrs. Siers, and Mr. Teisher for their endless support and constant inspiration. Molly is incredibly appreciative of this great cast and amazing crew who have given their time and passion to help create such an unforgettable show. Enjoy :)
