Founded in 2005 by pianist Kathy Fink, Fourth Street Jazz is an auditioned 15—20 voice jazz choir that sings standard jazz tunes arranged for 4 part voices and piano, plus the occasional jazz instruments. Wendell S. Purrington joined us in 2012 and the partnership has endured and prospered! Fourth Street has performed in Dover, York, Exeter, Rochester and more. Associated with the Garrison Players community theater and made up of musical theater lovers, the Showstoppers troupe stages Broadway and movie musical revues at the Garrison Players Arts Center in Rollinsford and performs for community and private events, schools, and assisted living facilities. The Noble Chamber Choir is an auditioned high school choir that studies and performs 4 part choral music from a variety of time periods and genres.

 Hailing from southern Maine, Rock My Soul (RMS) has performed to packed venues in New England since 2004. They’ve performed on TV shows such as NH Chronicle and 207, on radio programs such as Maine Things Considered, and one of their songs was featured in a PBS documentary entitled Freedom Songs: Music of the Civil Rights Movement. They are known for their spirited original R&B, pop, soul, doo-wop, (and yes, some gospel) arrangements, advancing messages of peace, unity, tolerance, and celebration.
World Renown Artist (Randy Armstrong)
Randy Armstrong has been hailed by the Boston Globe as "a sure-fingered, guitar virtuoso" and Downbeat Magazine has called his music “a marvelous kaleidoscope of shifting melodies, rhythms and instrumental colors." He was the Director of the Phillips Exeter Academy African Drumming Ensemble and North Indian Music Program from 1991 to 2020 and has taught courses for the Plymouth State University Integrated Arts Graduate Studies. Randy was selected to be the 2017- 2018 artist in residence for the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra and was the recipient of the 2017 New Hampshire Governor’s Arts Award for Arts Education. Randy is the co-founder of Do’a World Music Ensemble, Unu Mondo and Beyond Borders has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Alaska, Belize, India, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and South Africa and West Africa. He has appeared on over 60 albums, theater and film scores and has been the recipient of numerous grants from the National Endowment on the Arts and the New England Foundation for the Arts. In 2023, his new group, Randy Armstrong & WorldBeat Marimba received NH Magazine’s Best of New Hampshire “Ambassadors of Peace” Award. He has served as an Arts Councilor for the NH State Council on the Arts appointed by two NH Governors and is on the NHSCA Arts In Education and Arts in Health juried rosters. Randy has presented educational programs for tens of thousands of students throughout his career. Randy is celebrating the CD release entitled: BEYOND BORDERS. 5 years in the making featuring 35 musicians from around world, it is a Global Voyage in Music. Beyond Borders was nominated for the 2015 ZMR Music Awards – Best World Album. His original score and soundtrack CD for the theater and dance production, THE CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS was released at the premiere performance in San Jose, CA in September 2016 featuring 11 international dance traditions with over 50 actors ages 4 to 84. Randy composed and recorded music for “Choose Love- The Musical” theatre production premiering in 2022 . He also toured in South Africa with the all-women’s chorus, Voices From The Heart in July and August 2018 as a soloist and accompanist.
