Danielle Spence (Carole King)Danielle Spence is making her dream come true in her Rose Theatrics debut! She has been singing the Tapestry album for over 10 years at karaoke bars, auditions, gigs, and to the sold-out crowd in her car hoping that one day she would step into the shoes of the legendary Carole King of Brooklyn, New York! Professional credits: Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray (Beverly Arts Center), u.s. Mother/Clara in Bright Lights, Big City (The Beautiful City Project), and Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (Metropolis PAC). Chicagoland Credits: Charlotte in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Magical Starlight Theatre), Marta in Company (point2productions), Inga in Young Frankenstein (Theatre on the Hill). Jason Mallo (Gerry Goffin)Jason is very excited to make his debut at Rose Theatrics! Recent roles include Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast (Oak Lawn Community Theater) and Sebastian in Cinderella (Ramsey Theater Company). By day he is an educator at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. By night he is losing in his rec beach volleyball league. Thank YOU for being in the audience and supporting local theater!
Katelyn Curtin (Cynthia Weil)Katelyn Curtin is thrilled to make her Rose Theatrics debut in Beautiful! A voice teacher at Merit School of Music, Katelyn is currently pursuing her Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy with an Emphasis in Musical Theater at Rider University. Past acting credits include work with Children’s Theater of Madison (CTM) and Lyric Theater of Oklahoma. An avid director, she has recently directed The Little Mermaid Jr., Aristocats Kids, and Shrek Jr. with CTM. Katelyn also sings with the Old St. Patrick’s (OSP) Church choir and is deeply grateful to her OSP community for encouraging her to do big and beautiful things. Love and thanks to her husband Brett, her parents, and her voice teacher Dr. Courtney Crouse.
Dylan J. Flaig (Barry Mann)Dylan J. Flaig is an actor, director, and teacher currently residing in the South Chicago Suburbs in Crete, Illinois. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University, where he studied Secondary Education and Theatre. He is currently a History/Theatre teacher at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana. Favorite/Recent credits include Mark in Rent (Rose Theatrics), Willard Hewitt in Footloose (Erica Heilmann Theatre-OLPD), Henry in Next To Normal (Western Illinois University), Anthony in Sweeney Todd (The Genesius Guild), and Link Larkin in Hairspray (Beverly Arts Center.) Bob Bullen (Don Kirshner/Righteous Brother)BOB BULLEN (Donny Kirshner/ Righteous Brother) is thrilled to be a part of this company and help tell this story of resilience, friendship and believing in yourself. Meghan Hoyt (Genie Klein)Meghan Hoyt has been performing since the age of 6. As a child, she performed professionally throughout the area. Knowing that theatre was what filled her soul, she majored in Acting at Illinois State University and after getting her degree she went on to successful and fulfilling career! She spent years performing with Porchlight Music Theatre and Drury Lane. She then went on to be a Main Stage performer with Disney Cruise Lines. After starting her family, Meghan's theatrical career took a backseat, but she continued to perform in local theatres throughout Chicagoland. Favorite roles include Amy in Company, Diane in Next to Normal, Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly, The Witch in Into the Woods, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Mother in Ragtime and many more. Recently, Meghan put herself out there to audition professionally again and performed in Elf at Drury Lane! Meghan has also found a new passion of teaching and coaching young artists the skill of story telling. Being in a theatre is where Meghan feels most comfortable. Whether she's in the audience, performing, being a theatre mom to her two children or supporting the students she coaches, she feels that story telling through words and song are what keep us all connected.
Brandon J. Sapp (Lead Drifter)Brandon J. Sapp was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He received his B.F.A in Acting from Northern Illinois University and intensively studied under Sanford Meisner’s acting method. Most recent theatre credits include: Dreamgirls for The Drama Group, A Night With You for Second Site, Rent for Rose Theatrics Theatre Company, The Polar Express Train Ride (Chicago), Eurydice at Writers Theatre in Glencoe, IL, The October Storm at The Raven Theatre in Chicago, IL, Trouble in Mind at Timeline Theatre (u/s) in Chicago, IL, MID SUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM at Ohio Shakespeare Festival in Akron, OH, ROMEO AND JUILET, TUBMAN: ROAD TO FREEDOM, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Great Works Theatre in Chicago, IL. This is Brandon’s second summer with Rose Theatrics and he’s super elated to be back with so many familiar artists and look forward to becoming family with new ones!
Steven Onyekachi (Lou Adler/Drifter)Steven Onyekachi is SUPER glad to back with Rose Theatrics this summer! He was last seen as the ever loving and protective music manager Marty Madison in Drama Group’s Dreamgirls and Seasons of Love soloist in Rose Theatrics Inaugural Show of Rent last Summer! Steven’s love for the theatre arts has brought him back to share this adequately named show with the community! Wishing this truly BEAUTIFUL cast and crew an amazing show!
Chris Reed (Drifter)Chris is very happy to be back on the Marian stage right where his theatre career began. He is even happier to be making his debut here at Rose Theatrics as a Drifter! Chris is currently a sophomore at Western Michigan University on the track to get his BFA in Musical Theatre. Previous credits include C.C. White in Dreamgirls at Western Michigan University, Margaret Mead in Hair at The Drama Group, and you can catch him in Cats as Alonzo and Rumpus at Western Michigan University in the fall! Terrence Lorenzo (Drifter)Terrence Lorenzo is a dancer and choreographer from West & South Suburban Chicago. A graduate of Millikin University (Acting ‘15), with further training in Los Angeles and New York City, Terrence is now Staff at Red Clay Dance Company. He’s honored to work on his first Rose Theatrics production!
A'Keisha Lee (Janelle Woods/Shirelle)A’Keisha (she/her) is a dancer, singer, and actor based in Chicago, IL. She is excited to return to Rose Theatrics for their annual summer show.
A’Keisha has performed in Chicago since 2021, making her Chicago debut in Perception Theater Company Coronary Artery. She is a company member of Queer Dance Freakout and the Hail Marys. Catch A’Keisha with the Hail Marys in their monthly slot of Untitled Supper Lounge in the Unbridled Show. A’Keisha is thankful to the production team and her castmates for an incredible experience.
Zoi Neely (Little Eva/Shirelle)Zoi could not be more excited to be in her first show with Rose Theatrics! She recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Dance minor. Previous roles Zoi has done include U/S #00 and #11 in the Wolves, Constance in Ride the Cyclone, and Featured Ensemble in The Wedding Singer. When Zoi isn't performing, you can find her studying astrology, coddling her senior Yorkie-poo Coco, and laughing her way through life.
Noelle Treadwell (Lead Shirelle)Noelle is super excited to be performing in her first production with Rose Theatrics! Past roles include Roxie Hart in Chicago, Dorothy in The Wiz and The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Noelle would love to thank her family for continuing to support her!
Jayla Clark (Shirelle)Jayla Clark, newly high school Graduate going to college, has been in multiple BEAUTIFUL productions. She was Regina George in Mean Girls, Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act, and has also been in Hairspray, Hello Dolly, and Mamma Mia. Jayla takes pride in her craft and can’t wait to perform for everyone.
Lisa Frustaci (Lucille)Lisa Frustaci is thrilled to join this incredibly talented cast! A local music educator and speech coach, she rediscovered her love for performing last year in RENT and is overjoyed to return to the stage for her second production with Rose Theatrics. While she enjoys supporting students from behind the scenes, she’s now embracing every opportunity to perform again! Being part of this beautiful story, surrounded by such a passionate cast and guided by inspiring directors, has been a true gift. Lisa’s heart is full, and she’s deeply honored to help bring the music and legacy of Carole King to life.
Jeff Serafini (Nick/Featured Vocalist/Dance Captain)Jeff is thrilled to be dancing through the decades as Nick and serving as Dance Captain in Beautiful! He’s been tapping, turning, and toe-stepping his way through musical theatre for over 10 years, and is no stranger to the stage. Chicagoland credits include Hairspray (Beverly Arts Center), RENT (Rose Theatrics), Footloose, Something Rotten, and Newsies (Erica Heilmann Theatre). When he’s not leading the ensemble through harmony, you can catch him perfecting pirouettes or planning his next show tune road trip. He sends love to his family, friends, and fellow castmates who keep his passion fueled.
Colin Campbell (Neil Sedaka/Bobby Vee/Righteous Brother)Colin Campbell is a Senior at Carthage College, double majoring in Musical Theatre and Stage Management. He is unbelievably excited and lucky to be in his 2nd production with Rose Theatrics!

Being apart of Rose Theatrics again this year brings such joy and assurance for him as a growing artist trying to put himself out there. His goal is to be as well rounded on stage as he can, and being able to showcase his versatility in this show is what he truly loves most. Colin strives to bring welcoming, creative and authentic energy to every story that he is telling on stage, no matter the circumstances. Claire Peters-Seymour (Betty, Marilyn Wald)Claire Peters-Seymour is an actor and singer based in Chicago, originally from Lexington, Kentucky. She is so excited to be joining Rose Theatrics for the first time! Claire has trained in both classical and contemporary theatre, earning her theatre degree from Loyola University Chicago. Claire’s recent stage credits include Hairspray (Penny Pingleton), Once: The Musical (Understudy for Girl), and The Addams Family (Wednesday). Her work is driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling and a commitment to bringing authenticity and vibrancy to every role.
Jessi Winston (Featured Vocalist)This is Jessi's first show with Rose Theatrics, and she is so excited to be a part of this musical! Previously, Jessi was a Showgirl/Hollywood Blonde in BTG's production of "Gypsy". When not performing in musicals, Jessi is creating original music and art.
Mark Parrish Jr. (Featured Ensemble)Mark is excited to be back on stage in the ensemble of BEAUTIFUL. Previous roles being Zebulun in Joseph... and the Newscaster/Ensemble in Clue. He wants to thank his family, friends and those who helped him get into theater! Enjoy the show!
Andy Breitbarth (Swing, u/s Nick)Andy Breitbarth (he/him) is thrilled to be making his Rose Theatrics debut in Beautiful. He is currently a performer with Chicago Kids Company and teaches theater and singing to kids all across Chicago. He was most recently seen as Brad in Beverly Arts Center’s Hairspray. Some of his other favorite roles include Ren in Footloose, Squidward in The Spongebob Musical, and Harold Hill in The Music Man. Thank you for supporting the arts and enjoy the show!!
