About YAU Theatre Camp (July 20 - 25, 2026)

Youth Arts United is offering TWO Theatre Summer Camp options in 2026:

June 8 - 13

July 20 - 25

 

Both camps will take place at the Princess Theatre in Harriman, TN. Space is limited and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

2026 Summer Camp Schedule:

  • Workshop Days: Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
  • ALL Students will participate in the FINAL PRODUCTION on Saturday @ 7:00 PM (6:00 PM Call)

 

The Summer Camp agenda includes lessons in:

  • Acting/Character Building/Improv
  • Theatre Jazz
  • Singing for Musical Theatre
  • Technical Theatre

 

*Rising 7th through 12th graders may also choose to participate in the Summer Intensive. This is a One Act production that will be rehearsed from 1:30 to 3:30 each afternoon and performed during the final production on Saturday. The Intensive is limited to 15 students, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students MUST be participating in the Summer Camp in order to participate in the Intensive. Students will need to bring a sack lunch to eat during the break between camp and the intensive rehearsal (1:00 - 1:30 PM).

 

All students will be provided with a Camp T-Shirt.

 

Cost: $150 per student
