Phil Manzanera is an English musician, songwriter, and record producer widely recognized as the lead guitarist for the influential art-rock band Roxy Music. 

Born Phillip Geoffrey Targett-Adams in 1951, Manzanera became a founding member of Roxy Music in the early 1970s and has since built a prolific career as a solo artist and sought-after producer. 

• Roxy Music: Manzanera's distinctive guitar style was a core component of the band's innovative sound, from their self-titled debut in 1972 to later hits like "Love Is The Drug" and "Avalon".
• Solo Work & Collaborations: He has released numerous solo albums, beginning with Diamond Head in 1975, and has worked with a wide range of artists, including Brian Eno, John Cale, Steve Winwood, and David Gilmour. His 1976 album 801 Live is also a notable work.
• Production: Manzanera is an in-demand producer, having worked on projects for artists in various genres, including David Gilmour's album On an Island (2006), and albums for Latin American rock acts like Héroes del Silencio.
• Unique Sound: He is known for using custom-built guitar modules and unique signal chains to create innovative sounds, setting him apart from other guitarists of his era.
• Memoir: His life and career are detailed in his memoir, Revolución to Roxy, which explores his childhood in Cuba and his musical journey.
