Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis: Inquiring photographer, first lady, mother, wife of Aristotle Onassis, book editor- she was famously private, rejected nearly all requests for interviews, yet remained the most famous woman in the world Filling many roles in her lifetime, she kept us watching and wondering through each incarnation.

JBKO, then, grew out of my attempt to answer the ongoing question we ask about all celebrities: what was she really like. We all form our own ideas as to the answer.
