M.C. Mendonca (Mary Lane)M.C. (she/her) is excited to make her Renegade Theater debut in Reefer Madness! She has been performing in community theatre since the age of six, and is a UC Berkeley alumna with a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies. She also performed at theme parks for over a decade as a singer, emcee/host, and costumed character. Favorite credits include: Ohlone College's Heathers (Heather McNamara), Theatre Rhinoceros's Cabaret (Fraulein Kost), BAD Musical Theatre's American Psycho (Sabrina), and Foothill Music Theatre’s Bullets Over Broadway (Ensemble, Olive U/S). Ian Grant (Jack Stone)
Lauren Chouinard (Mae)Lauren Chouinard (she/they) is a local actress, comedian, and showgirl thrilled to be back onstage for her third production with the Renegade family! Past credits include Heathers (Ms. Fleming; Renegade), Grease (Jan; Cabrillo Stage), The SpongeBob Musical (French Narrator/Foley; Cabrillo), and American Psycho (Courtney; B.A.D MT), as well as co–music directing American Idiot with the amazing Laney Correa.
Lauren is also a trained intimacy coordinator and mental health advocate for other performers. When she's not singing and dancing with her friends, she studies counseling psychology at Santa Clara University, preparing for a career as a therapist serving the LGBTQ+ community. Big reefer love to my community for all the support!

Ana M. Bogren (Sally)Welcome to the Reefer Den! Ana is absolutely stoked to be part of her third show with Renegade Theater Co! She was previously seen in Renegade's productions of Cabaret (Sally Bowles), and Heathers: The Musical (Heather Chandler). Ana is a passionate anthropology student with a deep love for all things musical theater. She proudly serves on the Executive Board for Mountain Community Theater where she was most recently seen in The Addams Family Musical (Wednesday Addams). Previous community theatre credits also include: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Peaseblossom), American Idiot (Extraordinary Girl), Something Rotten! (Bea Bottom), The Robber Bridegroom (Rosamund U/S), & Mamma Mia! (Ali). Ana would like to thank her friends, family, and The Council for their unwavering support and encouragement. Mitch Truong (Mae U/S, Ensemble)Mitch (she/her) is so thrilled to be a part of another Renegade Theatre Production. She had so much fun as Rosie (u/s) and Ensemble in Cabaret just last year. She is also a film director and photographer based in the Bay Area who found the joys of theatre in 2023. Since then you’ve seen her in a few Cabrillo College productions such as SpongeBob the Musical as Electric Skate #2 and Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time as Siobhan. She is super grateful for spectacular space Renegade Theatre has established for new and seasoned actors and sharing the great joy and opportunities it brings to the Santa Cruz community. Maeva Hughes (Lady Liberty, Ensemble)Maeva Hughes (they/them) is beyond stoked to be in this production of Reefer Madness! This is their second time preforming in a Renegade production, the first was in She Kills Monsters as Vera Martin. They only recently started acting again after 7 years, it’s been such a joy to be on stage again! From being behind the scene doing random volunteer tech work to being on stage Maeva loves everything about theatre. They cannot wait for you to see this ridiculous, silly, absolutely wild show!

Angela Rangel (Ensemble)Angela Rangel is a current Theater Arts MA with a focus on directing at UC Santa Cruz. This is her second production with Renegade. Angela is excited to be working with a team of talented performers and dedicated creative team. Some of Angela's recent works include Our Dear Dead Drug Lord, She Kills Monsters, and Night of the Vampire Queen!
Sammy Rossi (Ensemble)Sammy is beyond stoked for their first Renegade Theater show and grateful to be apart of the ensemble in Reefer Madness! As a local multi media artist, they’ve felt great joy exploring musical theater. Especially with such a welcoming, talented, vivacious group of folks!
Sage Sequoia Fichera (Ensemble)Sage is excited to be transitioning from his first adult play, She Kills Monsters, straight into his first adult musical, Reefer Madness. Sage is the youngest in the cast (18 years old and still attends Soquel High-school) so there are some things in this musical that he isn't quite adult enough to be a part of. Despite the age gap between him and much of the cast, Sage has managed to find a wonderful community in Reefer Madness!
