About Grease

An American classic comes to RCK - Tell me more, tell me more!

“Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding ”T-Birds" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on Prom Night," "Alone at the Drive-In Movie" recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation." - playbill.com

RCK Masque and Mime

The Masque and Mime Society has been Roy C. Ketcham High School's drama club since its inception in 1964. Currently in our 59th season, the club seeks to enrich the lives of RCK students through the experience of live theater each year. A member of the International Thespian Society and the NYS Theater Educators Association, Masque and Mime staff help RCK students experience all aspects of theatrical production as they design and implement two productions and a benefit showcase each year. We firmly believe in the power of theater to transform lives, and look forward to showcasing our students talent and effort to the community with each performance.
