Ms. Sumrall is so excited about directing "Shrek". She was in the musical in 2014 and has been waiting for the perfect time to direct it ever since. She has had a wonderful time creating a vision for this challenging but incredibly fun production. The students have taken her vision and ran with it, and she can't wait for you all to see it!

Rose Hellmers, the 2024 Tennessee Young Music Educator of the Year and 2023 CMA National Music Teacher of Excellence, is the Director of Choirs at Ravenwood High School, where she conducts four choirs that consistently receive the highest scores at district, state, and national competitions. This year, they are performing at the 2024 TnMEA Conference. In the past 3 years, she has over-doubled the size of the choir program. She serves as the district PLC Team Lead, the school’s Tri-M advisor, and teaches AP Music Theory, with a 100% AP exam pass rate. Hellmers serves as Music Director for Ravenwood’s musicals, winning Spotlight awards for Best Vocals and nominations for Best Orchestra. Hellmers also serves as Assistant Conductor of the Nashville Symphony Chorus, where she has prepared many major works, several recording projects, and conducted at TnACDA. Previously, Hellmers was Director of Choirs at Portage Northern MS/HS (selected to conduct at MI-ACDA) and the founding Strings Director at Nashville K-8 Harding Academy. She serves on the state TnACDA board, has had 5 student teachers, presented at numerous conferences, and conducted at national masterclasses throughout the country. Hellmers received a full scholarship for her Masters in Music Education and Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University. She currently resides in Nashville with her husband, Carl and her dog, Judy. Anna Feitel is super excited to be a Stage Manager for Les Miserables at Ravenwood! This is her fourth show at RHS, and her second show as a stage manager. She would like to thank her incredible cast, crew, and directors for their hard work and dedication that they put into this production. Les Miserables has always been one of her favorite music- *whispering* Oh! Anna has just been informed that we are performing Shrek the Musical! Enjoy the show!

Welcome to Six the Musical! Isa is so excited and ready to share this incredible experience of a show with all of you! Shrek is her fourth show at Ravenwood High School, and her second time running things from the booth! She thanks her family for supporting her through all the ups and downs, and she would also like to thank the people up in the booth with her; she is so incredibly grateful for all they've done. Jack is very happy to be a Stage Manager for Funny Girl at RHS! This is his second show as stage manager and fourth show at Ravenwood. He would like to thank everyone involved in this show for their hard work. He has always loved the musical Funny Girl and is very excited to participate in it this year. Enjoy the show!

Abby Schmisseur is thrilled to be a part of her third production with Ravenwood High School. She’s such a pro at this now that she doesn’t even need to be told what show she’s gathering fart sound effects for (she’s got a hunch it’s “Wicked”). Enjoy the show!

This is Chase's 3rd production with Raptor Theater, and they are excited to show you what we’ve been working on! They also forgot what show they’re doing… but enjoy the show anyways!

Abigail Douglas, the Head of Costumes, and her amazing crew (Sophia Pannu, Danielle Parker, and Mizuki Sikes) are so proud of the work they've done for this production! Between countless hours designing, ordering, and crafting, it is so amazing to see our hard work come together.

Our small team was thrilled to help prop up this production, whether it be the creation of the props before the show or making sure they're in the right place at the right time on show night we've loved every second of it and can't wait for the next one.

Danielle Parker is a senior who has been honored to be part of crew for the past 4 years. She has truly enjoyed the opportunity to bake for the cast and crew, trying new recipes and being part of such a wonderful and kind community.
