A Midsummer Night's Dream Cast

Kingston Trice (Theseus/Oberon)
This is Kingston’s first Shakespearean show, but overall his fifth RHS production. Usually serving as an understudy/swing for several characters, this is Kingston’s big theater break. You may recognize him as a boisterous rich gentleman, a loving father, a greedy businessman, or a loyal knight (if you’ve been to Ravenwood shows) – and Kingston is so excited to continue theater by portraying royalty in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Kingston gives thanks to the cast, crew, and our brilliant director. Enjoy and have a laugh!
Gabby Miller (Hippolyta/Titania)
Gabby Miller is thrilled to be playing Titania/Hippolyta in this production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! Some of her favorite roles have been Rizzo in Grease, Dragon in Shrek, Fastrada in Pippin, The Drowsy Chaperone in The Drowsy Chaperone, Margot in Legally Blonde, Witch in Into the Woods, and you can see her as Janice in Mean Girls at The Franklin Theater January 20-21! Gabby would like to thank Ms. Sumrall for her amazing direction and the opportunities she’s provided for her. Enjoy the show!
Jack O'Dell (Egeus)
Experienced on the stage and supported by his extensive choral and dancing background, Jack has performed in many plays and musicals. He has choreographed the past three musicals at Sunset Middle School and plans on continuing to choreograph for both the Ravenwood and Sunset Theater program. The role of Egeus is ironically the opposite of Jack's personality due to the fact that he is often called the "dad" of the friend group meaning that he wishes for the safety and security of his friends and family. He has had an amazing time with the cast as well as crew and can't wait for the play to show!
Ashi Agarwal (Philostrate)
Ashi is so excited for her first fall play at Ravenwood, although you may have seen her in the past two musicals as some kind of old woman, notably Mrs. Phelps in Matilda! Or, you may recognize her from various performances at Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy. You can usually find her at home doing karaoke with her dog, August (Guess when he was born? Trick question- June), taking a long drive, or laughing her head off about something that Arlo said. She thanks the cast, crew, and of course Ms. Sumrall for an amazing experience.
Xander Foote (Lysander)
This awesome and talented guy is absolutely stoked to be playing Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has previously played Banzai in the Lion King, Travis in Footloose, Eric in Matilda, John in Little Women, Markley in Radium Girls, and an ensemble member in Cinderella.
Aidan Smith (Demetrius)
Aidan is so excited to perform for you in his 14th show and 5th with Ravenwood YAHOO
Ella Speziale (Hermia)
This is Ella’s fifth show here at Ravenwood High School. As an avid Shakespeare enthusiast, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of her favorite shows she has ever been a part of. When she’s not acting, she’s either spending time with friends or re-watching every episode of the Gilmore Girls for the millionth time. She hopes that everyone will love the magic and humor that this show has to offer.
Raleigh Risser (Helena)
Raleigh is a senior this year at RHS and is absolutely thrilled to be playing the part of Helena in this amazing production. Over the years, some of Raleigh's favorite roles have included: Mrs. Honey (Matilda), Cady Heron (Mean Girls), and Fiona (Shrek). Raleigh would like to thank Ms. Sumrall for her countless hours of hard work along with the opportunity to perform on the RHS stage. Raleigh would also like to thank her friends, family, directors, and teachers for their endless love and support. Make sure you don't miss Demetrius' famous Hamilton line in Act ll!
Sloane Killinger (Puck)
Sloane is beyond excited to be playing Puck in Ravenwood’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream! As an EPIC prankster and mischievous character, Sloane tends to get into a bit of trouble herself (just ask her friends). From Madame Curie to a raccoon, and Sloane’s favorite role as Jesus in Godspell, she’s always up for a challenge. She would like to thank her wonderful friends, supportive family, and most importantly, Ms. Sumrall, for all that she does. So goodnight unto you all and enjoy the show!
Gavin Winters (Nick Bottom)
Gavin is getting a real kick out of playing Bottom. Hee-Haws had so much fun working on A Midsummer Night’s dream and he’s been working his hooves off. While he’s trying his best, the voice has made him a “little horse.” But he Neigh-ver had a bad time with his cast and crew mates. And he gives four hooves to all of Ms. Sumrall’s hard work. Gavin hopes you enjoy the show so much, that you trot back to see it a second time.
Kathryn Porter (Petra Quince)
Kathryn is a senior and is thrilled to be apart of her 6th production at Ravenwood! You’ve might’ve seen her in her debut as Bruce in “Matilda,” Jackie Youngwood in “Radium Girls” or the purple wigged Smaller Girl in “Cinderella.” Some of her hobbies include, belting Let it Go in her bathroom, petting her dog Pandalily, and hiking with her family. She hopes you enjoy the show if “that were enough the hang us all!”
Ashley Dengate, Nathan O'Hara, Eli Miller, and Benjamin Phillippi (Snout, Flute, Snug, and Starveling)
Eli, Nathan, Ashley, and Benjamin Walden Phillippi are ecstatic to be one person! They all share the exact same opinions on the show! They love the show and hope you enjoy the play, especially the play IN the play! All four are giving free hugs and kisses after the show. Ms Sumrall is a great director and has absolutely no influence over this bio. Enjoy!
Abigail Douglas, Sarah Smith, Lexi Russell, Adison Rodgers (Cobweb, Moth, Mustardeseed, Peasblossom)
Us four featured Fairies are stoked to be a part of Raptor Players’ production of A Midsummer Nights Dream! The Fairies include Moth & Featured Fairy (Sarah Smith - 11), Cobweb (Abigail Douglas - 11), Mustardseed (Lexi Russel - 12), and Peaseblossom (Adison Rodgers - 12)! The four of us have been involved with every Raptor Theater production since our freshman years and are so excited to add this one to the list! Catch us brightening up the stage throughout the show with our entertaining fairy choreography and lines. We would like to thank our entire cast & crew for being the best support system anyone could ask for. We are “Ready!” for you to come see the show!
Kate McNickle, Kylie Moore, Sumaya Siddiqi, Ellie Grace Palmer (Wisteria, Dewdrop, Mushroom, Lady Bug)
Kate, Kylie, Sumaya and Ellie Grace are so excited to share this magical show with you all! They have loved working together to create the whimsical ambience of the fairyland and hope that Wisteria, Dewdrop, Mushroom, and Ladybug leave you feeling jovial. Our seniors, Kate and Kylie, have performed in Matilda, Radium Girls, and Grease together, and they all performed last year in Cinderella. Keep an eye out for our baby ;). Enjoy the show!
Jameson Mackey, Hank Bynum, Emmit Vasilevskis, Michael Russel (Athens Ensemble)
The Athenian Ensemble, a ragtag bunch of dudes, Emmit, Michael, Hank, and Jameson, are incredibly excited for this production. After their team building exercise in Ghana, they plan to guard Theseus and Hippolyta like no others have before. It has been uncovered, however, that defending royalty is not their only passion. Emmit has made appearances in Grease (Teen Angel), Jameson in Addams Family (Lucas), Michael in High School Musical (Troy Bolton), and Hank in Cinderella (Flag Guy). However, it has been said by all four, on record, that they feel they were truly born to play the roles of Athenian Ensemble Members 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. In the words of the timeless Owen Wilson, "Wow."
