The Hound of the Baskervilles Cast
Kathryn Clark (Lady Agatha Mortimer)Kathryn is elated to be joining PTD for her first production. Despite her hiatus as a thespian, she's maintained her performance passion wearing many hats: dancer and choreographer, professional singer, Emcee and DJ, and as a Drag artist (Redniss Everdank). She can be found annually hosting at Ypsilanti Pride and hosting Karaoke at local favorite 734 Brewing Co in Depot Town. Her leisure time is enjoyed at home, teaching dance or on adventures with her supportive Husband (Rael), energizer son (Zephan), and always uplifting mother (Paula). She thanks both cast and crew for their patience, warmth and grace.
Abigail Lanham (Perkins)This is Abby's first production with PTD, her triumphant return to stage after retiring from high school theater. When not making people laugh, she enjoys playing Nintendo games and snuggling with her three cats. Abby would like to thank Reddit, where she came across a post mentioning the auditions the night before, and her husband, Cliff, who waited in the parking lot for the entire audition to make sure she was not being abducted into a cult. Abby wants to make sure you know that she is happy on stage, and to please join us for meditation.
Scott Stechschulte (Watson)Looks like the third time is the charm. Scott is excited to be back for his third show as an actor for PTD Productions. Scott comes from Ohio (don’t hold it against him), dabbles in a bit of everything nerdy, and is a golden retriever of a human. Scott’s first two shows with PTD were A Very Shakespeare Christmas and Welcome to Paradise and he is thankful for the opportunity to once again be on stage for a classic. Favorite past performances include Prospero in Return to the Forbidden Planet, Dad from Steve Martin’s WASP, and Jim from A Very Shakespeare Christmas by PS Drake.
Andy Jones (Sherlock Holmes)Andy is thrilled to join the cast of The Hound of the Baskervilles! This is Andy’s first performance with PTD. In recent years he has performed in The Men of Sherwood and Sunrise Coven with the Penny Seats Theatre, as well as Hungry with the Renaissance City Repertory Theatre. Andy also performs regularly with long-form improv troupes in southeast Michigan. He is incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and talented cast and crew!
Kaitlin Young (Mrs. Barrymore)This is Katie's first comeback with PTD Productions! Having performed earlier this year in Doubt: A Parable as Sister James, she is excited to be back on stage, to share yet another story with you all. Her favorite thing in this world is inviting others to see plays, and being a part of one as a character grants her even more pleasure. She thanks you and can't wait to explore the mystery of The Hound of the Baskervilles with you.
Jerry Doty (Sir Henry)Jerry's most recent appearances were in A Very Shakespeare Christmas (Steve Stevenson) and Fuddy Meers (Limping Man). He has been a part of PTD since 2019, and it is one of his favorite hobbies along with playing basketball and making cocktails. As always, thanks to the cast and crew for helping to make the process fun, to you the audience for coming out and supporting community theatre, and to his amazing wife Karrie for just being her. (They met doing theatre, BTW)
Tom Rich (Barrymore)Tom became aware of PTD when he married Ruth Boeder, a frequent props master for PTD shows. In his downtime, he enjoys delicious cakes, traveling through the cosmos, and completely failing to take assignments seriously. After several years of slouching around the borders of the company carrying objects, somebody said, "Hey man, get up on that stage and pretend to be Jerry's butler." This was Tom's first production, and hopefully that isn't too obvious.
Stephanie Mustonen (Kathy Stapleton)Stephanie (she/her) is excited to participate in her first show with PTD Productions! This show will mark her first performance in a non-comedic play. Previously in the community theater world, Stephanie has been in Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Suzanne) at The Players Guild of Dearborn and All in the Timing (Betty/Woman 1) and The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily) at Livonia Community Theatre. As always, Stephanie would like to dedicate her performance to Jeff Probst.
Andrew Saint John (Jack Stapleton)After his première performance with PTD through Brevity Shakespeare’s Othello as the unlucky soldier Cassio, Andrew is happy to return for one of his favorite literary works The Hound of Baskerville as Jack Stapleton. From comedies (Fools, Laughing Stock, Comedy of Errors) to dramas (Hamlet, Lion in Winter, Othello) and the occasional musical (Big Fish), Andrew is excited to explore new theatre opportunities contributing to local Michigan theatres both on stage and in the seats. Thank you for coming, enjoy the show!
Muthu Jayatissa (Laura Lyons)Muthu is incredibly excited to be making her PTD debut! An Ypsi native and Michigan State University alumnus, she performed with MSU’s Royal Players before going on to work a brief stint as a character performer at Walt Disney World with the Disney College Program. She currently works as a graduate program administrative assistant at Michigan Medicine. Much love to her friends for their endless support, organizations like PTD for keeping the theater in her life, and her parents for inspiring her lifelong love of Sherlock Holmes. This one’s for you, Seeya and Thaththi.
