Daniel found theater in the early 2000s while in high school and continued to be involved during college. He stepped away from theater from some time until 2015 when he got involved with community theater. Since then, he has enjoyed performing in many productions with groups in the Lansing, Jackson, Chelsea, Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti areas. For this production, Daniel has earned the role of Director for the very first time. It has been such an interesting and rewarding journey as a first-time director. Many things have been learned and challenges have been overcome. The cast and production team have been top-notch. thus making the overall process easier than he was led to believe. Thank you to everyone who has given him support and comfort during this adventure. He dedicates the performance to the cast, the crew, the audience in attendance, his very patient (again, VERY PATIENT) wife, his amazing daughter, and the parents who encouraged him to pursue performing. This is Sam's second show with PTD (Chris Wren in Mousetrap), and his fourth time as assistant director (Richard III, Taming of the Shrew, Spring Awakening). He's “over the moon” to be working with this production company. You may have seen him on stage before in Brevity Shakespeare's As You Like It as Jaques, or Livonia Shakespeare's Henry V as The Dauphin. Thanks for showing up.

Alyse Campbell has been active in southeast Michigan theater for the past year, and previously stage managed and costumed shows for Brevity Shakespeare in Ypsilanti. Originally from Washington state, she performed in numerous musical theater productions and dance performances throughout her youth. She is excited to make her PTD debut and extends her gratitude to the production team for the opportunity to collaborate on Moon Over Buffalo.

Ken has had six productions on Broadway and eight in London’s West End. His 34 plays and musicals are staged around the world and throughout the United States every night of the year. His first play, Lend Me a Tenor, won two Tony Awards and was called “one of the classic comedies of the 20th century” by The Washington Post. Crazy For You is currently running on London’s West End. It was previously on Broadway for five years, on the West End for three, and won the Tony and Olivier Awards for Best Musical.
