Glengarry Glen Ross Cast

Rick Sperling (Shelly Levene)
An Ann Arbor native, Rick grew up performing with Junior Light Opera, Young People’s Theater, Community High, and Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. AACT: On Golden Pond, The Diviners; Performance Network: Waiting for Godot, True West, Speed-the-Plow, Man of La Mancha; Theatre Nova: Language Archive; UM SMTD Guest Artist: Ohio Impromptu, The Grapes of Wrath; Shakespeare in the Arb: Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado about Nothing. Founder of Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit. Love to Marian, and forever to Doris & Larry.
Jacob Williams-Justin (John Williamson)
Jacob is excited to continue to put his B.F.A. to good use. This will mark Jacob’s fourth production with PTD, but this time he is stepping out from behind the curtain and onto the stage. His previous work includes Rumors, The Sweet Delilah Swim Club, Perfect Arrangement, and Juice. As always, Jacob dedicates this performance to his mother and supportive family and friends
Ken MacGregor (Dave Moss)
Ken returns to the stage after a long period of dormancy during which he mostly drove the bookmobile and made up a bunch of stuff. He also raised a couple of really cool kids. In addition to several PTD shows (back in the day), he has acted in (and written) TV and radio commercials, sketch comedy (where he wrote and performed a David Mamet sketch!), a music video, and several independent films. In addition to his library job, Ken is a published author with nine books (so far) to his name. He lives in Ypsi and loves it here. He shares his house with his kids, a fierce-but-cuddly tiger cat, and the ashes of his wife. He is delighted to be reunited with this theater company after over twenty years of being away
Jay Fischer (George Aarnow)
Jay is enjoying his first production with PTD. He has most recently had parts in five different plays at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in the Biltmore (Studio) Theater. Notable roles include Albert Soady (Father/Narrator) in Escanaba in Da Moonlight, Harding in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and, oh yeah, Shelly in Glengarry Glen Ross. Would like to thank his wife for putting up with his “Lil’ Hobby.”
Todd St. George (Richard Roma)
Todd is pleased to be working with such a talented cast and crew. This is his third time treading the boards with PTD, having last been seen in The Foreigner and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Todd, as always, would like to thank his wife Debbie and his parents for their continued support. Special thanks to Liz for casting him in such an amazing play and role.
Drew Dyer (James Lingk)
Drew is proud to join the PTD family for his first production. He is a Detroit-grown actor graduating from Wayne State University with a B.F.A. focused on theatre, where he was able to take part in shows like Heathers: The Musical (Big Bud Dean/Paul Kelly) and Snow Queen (Grandfather). He has also participated in professional productions at The Riverbank Theater in Little Women: The Musical (Laurie) and in Tipping Point Theater’s The Play That Goes Wrong (Robert understudy). Outside of Glengarry, Drew is a craftsman in the community hoping to build up the theater world around him.
Brad Halsey (Detective Baylen)
Brad joined PTD Productions many years ago. His first appearance on stage was as Jesus in the female production of The Odd Couple. He has helped out on and off stage and is happy to be back as part of the cast.
