Lance Schober (Princeton)In his second appearance in "Avenue Q", Lance is excited to play Princeton after having brought Nicky to life 8 years ago. Lance grew up in the valley and has been active in theater for most of his life, performing professionally as well as locally with VVTC and Porchlight Players. Lance would like to thank his wife, Lisa, for her support!
Lauren Bonati (Kate Monster)Lauren has lived in the Vail Valley since 2018 and is a double board-certified dermatologist at Mountain Dermatology Specialists in Edwards. In addition to her medical degree, Lauren holds a B.A. in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on classical voice and piano. Having performed in numerous musicals, choir groups, and ensembles throughout high school, college, and graduate school, Lauren is thrilled to return to the performing arts, where her true passion lies. She is endlessly thankful to her family for their support!
Lindsay Olin (Christmas Eve)Lindsay is thrilled to be back onstage with Porchlight Players. When she's not acting, dancing and singing, Lindsay enjoys skiing, gardening, hiking, and traveling the world. Thank you to the cast and crew for all their hard work and dedication bringing this wonderful show to life, and to our audience for coming out to support local theater.
Andrew Casavant (Brian)Drew grew up performing in show choir, concert choir, and various musical productions from elementary school to college, and is excited to be able to share the stage with such a talented and amazing group of people in his third Porchlight Players production. Drew currently resides in Gypsum, with his wife and three children. Thank you to everyone for the opportunity to once again have some fun under the lights. Enjoy the show!
Paul Witt (Nicky)This is Paul’s eight production with Porchlight Players, starting with his role as Inspector Kemp in "Young Frankenstein". Other favorite roles include Trekkie Monster in "Avenue Q", Carl Hanratty in "Catch Me If You Can", and Brother Jeremiah in "Something Rotten!" He would like to thank his family for supporting him and this passion of his.
John Tedstrom (Rod)This is John’s 10th Porchlight show and John is thrilled to be back on the Brush Creek stage. He’s especially excited to bring one of his favorite characters back to life in one of his all-time favorite shows, Avenue Q. John has been on stage in the valley for over 20 years and feels super fortunate for the opportunities to perform with so many talented and amazing performers, musicians and crew. Thanks to his family and thanks to you, supporters of live theater in the valley. Without you we’d just be a group of goofy theater nerds jumping around in a box.
Jonner Maurer (Trekkie Monster)Jonner is joining Porchlight Players on stage for the third time after performing in "Curtains" as Bobby Pepper and "Young Frankenstein" in the ensemble. Jonner is a Vail Valley native and graduated from Battle Mountain High School, where he performed in numerous productions in their theater program. Jonner hopes you enjoy the show!
Irish Boston (Gary Coleman)This is Irish's second time performing in Avenue Q and her 12th show with Porchlight Players. Some favorite roles include Cheryl Ann in "Catch Me If You Can" and Rose Ritz in "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change". She would like to thank her husband, Jared, for his support and our local audience for coming to the show!
Lauren Spaeth (Girl Bad Idea Bear/Moving Box/ Mrs. T's right arm)This is Lauren's second role with Porchlight Players after performing in "Curtains" as Niki Harris and in VVTC's "Rocky Horror Show" as well as numerous roles in Eagle Valley High School's drama program. Lauren studied theater at the Savannah College of Art and Design and is happy to once again be on stage in her hometown.
Shiloh Liska (Bad Idea Bear/ Moving Box/ Trekkie's right arm/ Ricky)Shiloh Liska graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a minor in theatre in 2016. They joined Vail Valley Theatre Company in 2022 for "A Rocky Halloween" and Porchlight Players in 2023 for "Something Rotten!" and have since performed with both companies in "A Rocky Halloween II", "Young Frankenstein", "Cabaret", "Curtains", "Villain Anonymous" and "The Rocky Horror Show".
When not on stage, Shiloh works at the local animal shelter and enjoys spending time with their own mini poodle, Crowley, and black cat, Mona.
Sherri Brinker (Lucy the Slut/ Mrs. Thistletwat)Sheri Brinker, hailing from Glenwood Springs, makes her debut with the Porchlight Players. Her initial foray into community theater in the Roaring Fork Valley was the production of Beauty and the Beast. Since then, she has participated in a diverse range of productions, including TRTC Children’s Theater’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, Glenwood Vaudeville Revue’s Sweeney Todd, and Hudson Reed Ensemble’s As You Like It. Recently, she delighted in portraying Olive Madison in Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple (Female Version) with Vail Valley Theater and Cookie Cusack in Neil Simon’s Rumors for Aspen Community Theater. She eagerly anticipates her return to musical theater and collaboration with the Porchlight Players. We invite you to enjoy the performance.
