Tony Savant (Director) Founding Director of Playhouse West-Philadelphia, one of the foremost respected acting teachers in the country. For over three decades, Mr. Savant has been integral to Playhouse West achieving its top reputation throughout the industry and as one of the finest acting schools in the world. Helped train some of the most successful film and T.V. actors, including Ashely Judd, James Franco, Tessa Thompson, Scott Caan, Scott Wolf, Jim Parrack, Scott Haze, Wentworth Miller, Alain Uy, Jean Elie and hundreds of other working actors. Artistic Director of the award-winning Playhouse West Theater Company in L.A. over 20 years. Created, co-wrote and directed the award-winning production, “Welcome Home, Soldier”, winner of “Best Drama”, hailed as “the year’s most powerful theater” in 1991. The play closed in Los Angeles in 2016 after 25 years. Directed over 85 stage productions, including The Baby Dance, Light Sensitive, Country Singer, Speed-The-Plow, Dinner With Friends, Sin and All In A Day's Work. Directed six films including award-winners Red, Buddy, Billy and the Hurricane. Acted in more than twenty films and over 40 stage plays.

Michelle Opalesky (Assistant Director) is honored to be assistant directing this stellar play starring her dedicated and talented classmates. A fellow continuing student at Playhouse West-Philadelphia. Having finished the curriculum at the school she stays to continue the work and be a part of this vibrant community. Recently Assistant Directed the PW-P production Get It Together, and stage managed Collected Stories and Sunset Baby. Will be directing the upcoming Playhouse West-Philadelphia production, Theresa Rebeck's What We're Up Against. An actor in theatre, film and TV. Has also written and directed. Her work and many other Playhouse West-Philadelphia student’s work can be seen on CrateTV.net a Roku channel.

Peyton Carson (Production Stage Manager) is honored to be stage managing this excellent play being put on by his incredibly talented classmates. Recently starred in and produced the Playhouse West-Philadelphia production of Get It Together. Other favorite stage credits include: Rabbit Hole (The Stagecrafters Theater) and Get It Together (Philly Fringe). Has also appeared in and directed a number of films, including his very own, Always, for which he received the 2025 Grand Jury and Audience Choice Awards for Best Actor at the Playhouse West Film Festival-Philadelphia. Other favorite film credits include: CoronaSelf Clean4AMA Quart Of Salt.

Stephen Belber (Playwright) has had his plays produced on Broadway and in over 25 countries. In addition to Broadway, his plays have world premiered at Roundabout Theater, Atlantic Theater, Manhattan Class Company (MCC), Primary Stages, Labyrinth Theater, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Naked Angels, L.A.'s Geffen Playhouse, Boston’s Huntington Theater, Pittsburgh’s City Theater, and The Humana Festival. He was an Associate Writer and actor for The Laramie Project, and co-writer/actor on The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later. Belber has also written and directed three feature films, Management (Jennifer Aniston/Woody Harrelson), Match (Patrick Stewart/Carla Gugino), and What We Do Next (Corey Stoll/Karen Pittman). He has written the movies Tape (Ethan Hawke/Uma Thurman, directed by Richard Linklater), The Laramie Project (associate writer), Drifting Elegant, and O.G., (Jeffrey Wright, HBO Films). Television credits include Law & Order SVU, Rescue Me, Tommy, The First, and pilots for Netflix, HBO, F/X, USA, TNT, ABC, History Channel, and Fox TV. He has worked on numerous studio films (including Dallas Buyers Club), and developed movies with Will Smith, Todd Phillips, Bennett Miller, Jay Roach, Richard Linklater, George Tillman, Greg Mottola, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Anthony Mackie, Ethan Hawke, Sam Rockwell, David Gordon Green, and many others. His most recent project is the 8-part mini-series The Madness, starring Colman Domingo, which airs on Netflix on Thanksgiving Day 2024.
