Jessica Martinelli (Lead Actor / Onsite Liaison)
With a BA Theater Arts from UC Santa Cruz, she performed with Shakespeare Santa Cruz and Shakespeare To Go, including the role of Hortensio in Taming of the Shrew. Her local credits include leading roles with Davis Musical Theater (Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Rapunzel in Into the Woods), and several years with Suspects! Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Her first performance with Placer Rep was the Storytellers Theater ensemble performance of Gingerbread Boy. She currently is the lead actor / onsite liaison for Placer Rep School Tours and Family Theater. She is also cast as the villainous Mrs. Madge Larrabee in Placer Rep's April 2026 show: Sherlock Holmes: The Strange Case of Miss Faulkner.
Natalie Bordwell (Performer / Educator)
Certificate of Professional Acting from Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and additional actor training via American River College and Broadway Sacramento Summer Conservatory, Natalie has performed regionally for several theater companies. She is also a trained singer and dancer, and experienced dance captain. Performing for Storytellers Theater is Natalie's first opportunity to work with Placer Repertory Theater.
John Cablao (Performer / Educator)
John previously performed for Placer Rep in Dracula: a Melodrama as Harker & Lucy, and was Lenny in the New Works Showcase presentation of “Pretty Good Wife,” by Scott Charles. He recently played the role of The Boatswain in Trailblazer Student Production’s The Tempest. He’s had the pleasure of working with the companies Teatro Espejo and Interactive Entertainment in the past. He’s a trained actor, trained classical vocalist, and has a showcase of previous works on his YouTube channel johncablaomixtape.
Teresa Stirling Forsyth (Actor / Exec Admin of Program)
MFA, MS, Tess studied voice, dance & acting from childhood, and began touring as a teen soloist with an int’l jazz & blues group that performed in 7 European countries and was an opener for Ray Charles at the Montreux Int’l Jazz Festival. She co-starred in a musical that enjoyed a nationwide tour of Japan and performed for the Japanese Prime Minister & several prefecture governors. She co-starred in theatrical productions in the SF & LA regions, with one of her favorite roles being Dot in Sunday in the Park with George. She also worked in TV/Film/voiceover in L.A & SF. At university, her focus pivoted primarily to directing & playwriting, which led to her decades-long career with award-winning art-theater productions that toured to major performing arts venues, like the Kennedy Center. Tess is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild (DGA) and Stage Directors & Choreographers union (SDC), and she periodically teaches & develops curriculum for universities, such as UC Davis, University of Minnesota, and University of San Francisco.
