Justin Carr (Joseph)
Justin studied voice at Mercer University with Dr. Martha Malone and Dr. Richard Kosowski. Mr. Carr has played the title roles in Lil Abner and The Robber Bridegroom, Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, Oliver Warbucks in Annie, Tateh in Ragtime, Richard Henry Lee in 1776, which he also directed, and most recently played Edward Bloom in Big Fish. Justin is a recipient of the Gibb Vocal Award for Excellence and Founding Executive Director of Peach State Opera. Justin is married to Gina Carr and has three daughters, Abbie, Adalynn, and Adley Kate.
Rachel Cox (Narrator)
Rachel is happy to return to finish her three-peat of shows after her roles as The Witch in Big Fish and Ms. Hannigan in Annie. This is Rachel’s final show before her wedding in May, and couldn’t be happier to be in a show about faith, hope and big dreams! Rachel has been performing for 25 years including semi-professionally and also participates with CenterStage for Christ. She would like to thank God, her family, and her soon-to-be husband Josh for all the love and support.
Matt Fortson (Pharoah)
Matt is excited to be a part of this fantastic production - his third at Perry Players. He teaches world history, world geography, and US Government at Veterans High School, has coached at the middle school level, announced games for the Macon Bacon and Mercer University, and provided color commentary for the SportsMic radio. Matt would like to thank his parents, family, friends, and especially his wife Shauna (I still blame you for all of this-LUM). Matt would also like to thank Mystie, Dallas, and Kyla for the chance to be a part of this show!
Tim DeGuire (Potiphar /Reuben / Ensemble)
Tim has been a part of Perry Players productions for five years, playing a variety of roles on stage including a Charity man and Old Joe in A Christmas Carol (twice), Charles Thomson in 1776, Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mayor Dobbs in Bright Star, Lt. Ward in Annie, and Karl the Giant in Big Fish. He especially loves performing with his family on stage.
Jennifer Jones (Mrs. Potiphar/Wife/Ensemble)
Jennifer is married to Brian and they have three children: Cooper, Whitney, and Sarabeth. While she hasn't been on stage since the 90's, she is no stranger to Perry Players, having appeared in The Gift of the Magi, My Fair Lady, Oliver, and The Sound of Music - many (many!) years ago. She is grateful to Mystie, Dallas, and Kyla for the opportunity to appear in one of her all-time favorite musicals.
John Niederkorn (Jacob/Ensemble)
John is married to Wanda, dad to Jason and Justin. He’s retired from Robins AFB and his hobbies include 10 grandchildren, fishing, driving, and traveling. John loves being on the Perry Players' stage where you may have seen him as Grimsby in The Little Mermaid, Rooster in Annie, Uncle Henry/the Gatekeeper in Wizard of Oz, Elisha Whitley in Anything Goes, Ricky Martin in The Golden Girls, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Hospital Ghost in Ghost, and Lurch in The Addams Family among others. Pearce Miller (Butler/Judah/Ensemble)
Pearce is the 15-year-old son of Katie Miller and fellow performer JD Miller. This is his second show at Perry Players after his debut in Matilda last year. He’s playing “Pharaoh’s Butler,” as well as “Judah,” in this production. Pearce is in the 10th grade at Veritas Classical Schools and is most commonly seen around local theatres. He wants to congratulate everyone’s hard work and hopes you enjoy the show!
Jonathan Rogers (Baker/Gad/Ensemble)
Jonathan is a sophomore at Perry High, is heavily involved with Chorus and Theatre and is currently working on his school’s production of The Addams Family. This is his 17th production here, with some of his favorites being A Christmas Carol (x3!), The Addams Family, and The Little Mermaid. He’d like to thank his friends and family for coming to support, and his mother for being his chauffeur to and from rehearsal every night!
Tyler Yeomans (Issachar/Ensemble)
Tyler is SUPER excited to be a part of this show directed by two of his best friends. You may have seen him in Mary Poppins, Tuck Everlasting, or seen his directing debut of Matilda. Tyler is a florist, marketing leader for several companies, and owns Dream A Little Wish Entertainment. His favorite musical quote is from “La Cage Aux Follies”…”I am what I am, I need no excuses.” He hopes you enjoy the show and just know..the sweat is real.
Caleb DeGuire (Dan/Ensemble)
Caleb is 23 years old and super excited to be a part of this beautiful production. This is his 11th show on the Perry Players stage. He has also done 5 productions with Centerstage For Christ with Michael and Diane Kinsley. He is also very active in his church, playing the guitar and singing. He is extremely grateful to Dallas and Mystie Wilke for this wonderful opportunity.
Jarvis Scott (Naphtali/Ensemble)
Jarvis is a proud native of Perry, Georgia and is thrilled to return to the Perry Players stage for his fourth appearance. He cherishes the opportunity to perform alongside so many wonderful friends. His previous roles include: Charity Man in A Christmas Carol, Mr. Bundles & Judge Brandeis in Annie, and most recently, the remarkable character of Amos Calloway in Big Fish. He dedicates this performance to his beautiful family and friends for their unwavering support and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Jordan Whitfield (Benjamin/Ensemble)
Jordan is a 13-year-old 7th grader at Perry Middle School. His favorite subject is Social Studies and loves chorus, band and soccer. He’s had 2 years of theater experience as backstage manager for Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, yet this is his first time on the stage and is excited about playing the role of Benjamin (Joseph’s youngest brother). During his free time he enjoys video games, DIY projects and spending time with family and friends.
Riley Baron (Zebulon/Ensemble)
Riley is a high school graduate with a passion for theater, exploring what is next. After years of performing and developing his abilities, he is taking this time to become a part of a new community, sharpen his skills, and enjoy whatever comes next. With a love for storytelling, music, and the stage, Riley is excited to see where his journey may lead.
Rachel Tisdel (Asher/Ensemble)
With a lifelong love of theater cultivated by her family, whether on stage, backstage, or applauding from the audience, theater is Rachel’s happy place. It’s where she’s been actively involved for more than a decade and considers Perry Players her second home. Her favorites include The Play that Goes Wrong, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Narnia, Young Frankenstein, and most recently Big Fish! She’d like to thank you for supporting the local arts and hope you have a wonderful time!
JD Miller (Levi/Ensemble)
JD is a Macon GA native, where he owns a financial planning group with Northwestern Mutual and raises 3 children with his beautiful wife, Katie. J.D. is excited to return to the stage as a brother in the show alongside his son, Pearce, after his 1988 First Presbyterian Church performance where he starred as a Wise Man. In his down time, J.D. enjoys jogging, yoga, and family camping trips.
Anastacia Allen (Wife/Ensemble)
Anastacia is in junior high school with a passion for all things theater! She has been performing for five years and embraces every opportunity to grow as an actress. Offstage, she explores many creative outlets including writing, styling, playing the ukulele, and more. This is her first performance with Perry Players and she’s thrilled to be a part of the show!
Makenna Darsey (Wife/Ensemble)
Makenna is a 16-year-old sophomore at PHS. This is her 3rd show at Perry Players. You may recognize her from Tuck Everlasting and Matilda. She is an active member of the PHS Theatre and Choir departments. She would love to thank her wonderful friends and family for supporting her. Enjoy the show!
Mary Grace Chambless (Wife/Ensemble)
Mary Grace was in A Christmas Carol 2023, she loves Disney, and her favorite musical is Wicked. Her first Broadway show she saw was Phantom of the Opera in NYC. She would like to thank her parents for their support and encouragement as well as her aunt and uncle for their support and encouragement.
Blake Coleman (Wife/Ensemble)
Blake is a college student focusing on a criminal justice major. They took their first step on a stage at the young age of six and have yet to leave. With lots of hard work, laughs, and a passionate love of theatre, Blake has come to feel at home under the bright lights.
Amanda Davidson (Wife/Ensemble)
Amanda is excited to share the stage tonight with her daughter, Sadie. Seeing Sadie perform reminded her of her love for theatre. In her free time, Amanda loves spending time with her family. You will frequently find her playing with and caring for her menagerie of animals. She would like to thank Mystie and Dallas for giving her this opportunity and Kyla for creating such epic choreography to get her daily workout.
Abigail DeGuire (Wife/Ensemble)
Abigail is so excited to be on the stage again! She loves theatre and is on the stage whenever she can be. Her most recent shows were Bright Star and Big Fish. She also does shows at CenterStage for Christ. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support of theatre and all of her many hobbies. She asks that you laugh hard and enjoy the show!
Kathy DeGuire (Wife/Ensemble)
Kathy is excited to be on stage yet again at Perry Players, this being her ninth show! Her most recent shows were Annie & Big Fish. She is also involved at CenterStage for Christ with Michael & Diane Kinsley. Kathy is very active in church ministry with her family and is thankful for the opportunities God has given her to share her talents. She hopes you enjoy the show!
AJ Hunnicutt (Wife/Ensemble)
AJ is a 14-year-old rising 8th grader thrilled to be in her first production with Mystie and Dallas Wilke! She previously performed in her school’s productions of Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan, as well as Dear Edwina Jr. and Moana Jr. on Perry Players’ stage. AJ is very grateful to her family and directors for this opportunity!
Bella Montano (Wife/Ensemble)
Bella is 13 years old, attends Sacred Heart Catholic School, and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She was most recently seen on stage in Big Fish at Perry Players, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wizard of Oz at Theatre Macon. Theatre is her passion and she is thrilled to be part of this production. She sends a special thank you to Dallas, Mystie, and Kyla!
Lacey Morris (Wife/Apache Dancer/Ensemble)
Lacey is a Sophomore at Veritas Classical Schools and is extremely excited to be in this wonderful production. Lacey has almost 10 years of dance experience, has been in five musicals, and has loved singing and musical theater her whole life. Since her last appearance in Aladdin in 2019, she is thrilled to be back at Perry Players with such a talented cast and stupendous Directors for one of her favorite shows.
Amanda Vrahiotes (Wife/Ensemble)
Amanda is delighted to be on stage again in her first production with Perry Players! She joins her daughter, Amelia, this time and believes in the power of a fabulous, colorful outfit to change your life! When not dramatically belting Broadway tunes, she enjoys hiking, climbing, and cooking for her family. She thanks her husband and family for their support, and to Dallas, Mystie, Kyla, and her fellow cast/friends for making this journey so unforgettable. Enjoy the show!
Dallas Wilke (Ensemble / Music Director)
Dallas studied music at Brewton-Parker College. As a soloist, he performed at Carnegie Hall and in England. Notable roles include The Baker in Into The Woods, Carriere in Maury Yeston’s Phantom, and Gomez in The Addams Family. He was a soloist and assistant director for the St. Augustine Chorus and Youth Chorus, premiering both tuba and baritone solos, and frequently appeared with First Coast Opera. In summer 2024, he served as music director for Matilda. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Mystie Wilke (Ensemble / Director)
Mystie was born and raised in Middle Georgia. She graduated from WRHS and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice with a minor in Theatre from Shorter University. Her family serves and worships at Sandy Valley Baptist Church. You may have seen her on Perry Players stage as Alice Beineke in Addams Family or Winnie Foster's mother in Tuck Everlasting! She has also enjoyed performing with Centerstage for Christ.
Maggie Carnley (Children's Choir)
This is Maggie’s second performance with Perry Players, having previously been in Cinderella Jr. this summer. When not on stage, she loves being in the choir at HOCO where she is a 9th grader. As someone who is neurodivergent and deaf/hard-of-hearing, she hopes to inspire others with similar experiences to get involved in community theater. She wants to thank the cast for making her feel so welcome!
Adley Kate Carr (Children's Choir)
AK is the 10-year-old daughter of Justin and Gina Carr. She has 2 siblings, Abbie and Adalynn Carr. She is a 4th grader at Lake Joy Elementary and is a dance student at Precision Dance Academy. She was last seen in Big Fish here at Perry Players. AK is excited to be onstage singing and dancing in Joseph and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Sadie Davidson (Children's Choir)
Sadie is a 6th grader at Perry Middle School. She was recently seen on the Perry Players stage in Annie as Annie. This will be Sadie’s 3rd show here at Perry players! Sadie loves acting, singing and going on adventures. This show has been one of the funnest shows Sadie has done! She would like to thank you for coming and thank the directors for this wonderful opportunity. Enjoy the show!
Anna Cate Gardner (Children's Choir)
Anna Cate is excited to return to Perry Players for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! She previously performed in Annie and Shrek at Perry Players and SpongeBob the Musical at Theatre Macon. A 7th grader at Bonaire Middle School, Anna Cate loves being back on stage with the great friends she’s made through Perry Players and is grateful for this amazing experience!
Maddie Henry (Children's Choir)
Maddie is a 4th grader at Matt Arthur Elementary who’s 1st performance was in 'Finding Nemo Jr' showing off her impressive Australian accent as "Nigel" the pelican and most recently as “Tessie” in Annie. She’s a school anchor for the Knightly News and a chorus member. Maddie enjoys reading, Girl Scouts and soccer. She’d like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her passion and Mystie and Dallas for giving her another chance to perform at Perry Players.
Sarabeth Jones (Children's Choir)
Sarabeth is a 6th grader at Perry Middle School and this is her fifth time on the Perry Players stage. She most recently appeared as Duffy in Annie, and before that, she was spun around by her pigtails as Amanda Thripp in Matilda. She thanks the directors for the chance to be on stage once again and she hopes everyone enjoys this fun show!
Ava Vander Poorten (Children's Choir)
Ava is an active fifth grader at Matt Arthur Elementary currently enjoying ballet at Precision South and vocal lessons at Performa. She was previously part of the kids’ choir in Perry Players’ productions of Annie and Matilda, and as Martha in A Christmas Carol. Ava continues to show her dedication to the performing arts and her eagerness to grow in her theatrical journey. Look for her in this production’s ensemble and enjoy the show!
Amelia Vrahiotes (Children's Choir)
Amelia is thrilled to be performing again at Perry Players and gives great thanks to her Mom, Dad, Mystie, Dallas, And Kyla! You may have seen her performing at Perry Players as Matilda in Matilda the Musical, as July in Annie, as the Caterpillar in her school show of Alice in Wonderland, and several more! Raelynn Winslett (Children's Choir)
Raelynn is a 4th-grade honors student involved in Jr. Beta Club, Chorus, Drama and the Dance Team. She has had a love for music and acting from a very young age and appeared in Dear Edwina Jr. and Finding Nemo, Jr. Raelynn is so grateful and would like to thank Dallas and Mystie Wilke for giving her this opportunity and to also give thanks to her vocal coach, Kimberly Lochner.
