Lizzi Albert (Henrietta Leavitt)Lizzi is a director, actor, and teaching artist who currently serves as one of Perisphere Theater's co-Artistic Directors. She directed Perisphere’s 2023 production of “Hazardous Materials” by Beth Kander and its 2025 production of “Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh.” Other directing credits include “This Historic Night” (Seed Productions/Capital Fringe 2018), “A Christmas Carol” and “The Tempest” (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), and an all-female “Macbeth” (Notre Dame of Maryland University). Acting credits include “Julius Caesar” (Avant Bard), “Absolutely! Perhaps” (Constellation Theater Company), and several productions with Chesapeake Shakespeare, where she is a company member. Madeline Marie (Margaret Leavitt)Madeline (she/her) is an actor, singer, and dancer whose recent credits include “The Pliant Girls” (Theatre Prometheus/Nu Sass), “Puffs” (St. Mark's Players), “Man of La Mancha” (The Theatre Lab), and “Anastasia” (The Theatre Lab). She also originated the role of Judge McManton in the new original musical “Shangri-la-la,” which is the subject of an upcoming docuseries. Madeline is a proud graduate of both The Honors Acting Conservatory at The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts (2023) and The George Washington University Law School (2019).
Rocelyn Frisco (Annie Cannon)Rocelyn is delighted to perform with Perisphere for the first time. She has appeared with The Pearl Theatre Company (NYC), Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum (LA), Ark Theater Company (LA), Rhodessa Jones’s Medea Project: Theater for Incarcerated Women (San Francisco) and was a founding member of Crowded Fire (San Francisco). Recent local credits include “King Lear” (Rude Mechanicals), “In This Hope: A Pericles Project” (The Welders), “Landas” (Kennedy Center), “Cry for the Gods” (DC Capital Fringe). Rocelyn is a graduate of UC Berkeley and holds an MFA in Acting from UCLA.
Martina Schabron (Williamina Fleming)Martina (she/her) is excited to be making her Perisphere Theater debut with this beautiful production. Recent credits: Mother Goose in “Not Your Mother’s Goose” (Adventure Theatre MTC), Esther (u/s) in “Everything Is Wonderful” (Keegan Theatre), and Debbie in “Justice On Trial” (Off-Broadway, The Chad Cooper Company). International credits include “The Unmanageable Sisters” and “The Hen Night Epiphany” (Toronto Irish Players), “Stranger Things: The Experience” (Netflix, Toronto), as well as various productions in her hometown Zurich, Switzerland (Theater Einhorn Duebendorf). Film/TV credits include the feature film “Invited” (105films, Toronto), as well as various short films and commercials.
Hanlon Smith-Dorsey (Peter Shaw)Hanlon is an actor and dancer who most recently appeared in “Craigslisted” (Nu Sass), as an understudy for “Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh” (Perisphere Theater), “The Metromaniacs” and “The Birthday Party” (St Mark's Players), “Is He Dead?” (The Little Theatre of Alexandria), and “Table Manners” (NOVA Nightsky Theater). Prior to that he has graced the stage in numerous productions in Philadelphia, New York City, and Chicago. He holds a BA in Theater from Bard College and an MFA in Acting from DePaul University.
Rachel Johns (Margaret Understudy)Rachel (she/her) is an actor/director/theatre-maker who is delighted to be working with Perisphere for the first time! Recent acting credits include “It’s The Comedy of Errors, Hon!” (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare Beyond), “Muffed” (Prologue Theatre), and “Jojo’s Backyard Safari” (Discovery Theater). Danielle Taylor (Annie/Will Understudy)Danielle is excited to be part of her first production with Perisphere Theater. She studied at the Theatre Lab in DC and has been seen around the DC metro area in various community theaters and festivals. When not on stage, Danielle can be found participating in murder mystery dinners or 48-hour short films.
Gabriel Alejandro (Peter Understudy)Gabriel (he/him) is a Puerto Rican actor and educator based in DC. He teaches with Shakespeare Theater Company and Imagination Stage and is the Director of Education, and Founding Member, of Glass Canon Theatre Company. Favorite local credits include: Paris in “Romeo & Juliet” (Folger), Mark Antony in “Julius Caesar” (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), and Pablo in “Native Gardens” (Next Stop). Favorite international credits include performing with Odin Teatret in Denmark, Sine Qua Non Art in Greece, and the TYA-play “Sueños de Colores” in his native Puerto Rico.
