Pennyroyal Arts Council Inc.
The Pennyroyal Arts Council, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, was established in 1977. The mission of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, Inc. is to encourage, develop, and promote the appreciation of the Arts through: Education, Support, Service, and Presentation. Arts Council programming includes the Live at the Alhambra Series, Jazz on Stage, School Day Performances, Missoula Children’s Theatre, Dance Recitals, Art Exhibits, and more. The Arts Council partners with other community organizations like Campanile Productions, Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library. The Arts Council manages the historic Alhambra Theatre on South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville, built in 1928.
