Anna Cappelli (Performer)
Anna Cappelli is elated to be back on stage with PPTOPA! Her most recent roles include Catherine in Pippin, Voice 1 in 35MM, Lucy/Ensemble in Sweeney Todd, Sad Little Egg in Something Rotten, Lulu in Cabaret and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. When she’s not on stage, she’s working a 9-to-5 for everyone’s favorite travel brand, JetBlue. Special thanks always to Bobby & her mama. IG: @annalinacappelli
Colleen Pagano (Performer)
Colleen Pagano is excited to be returning to PPTOPA in this production of Broadway Through the Years. Last seen as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street (LPAC), other credits include Fraulein Schneider (Cabaret-PPTOPA), Kate (Brighton Beach Memoirs), Wardrobe (Beauty and the Beast), Mickey (My One & Only), Vi Moore (Footloose), Maud Dunlop (Music Man), Sister Mary Lazarus (Sister Act). When not on stage, Colleen teaches dance and voice in various performing arts studios in South Florida. Much thanks to Del, Mark and Wendy for this lovely opportunity. Love to Anthony, Cat, the Feeney/Pagano clan and most of all, Poppy.
Christopher Dreeson (Performer)
Christopher Dreeson is thrilled to return to PPTOPA with such a talented cast, production staff, crew, and especially director Del Marrero! Christopher made his South Florida professional debut in 2018 in the Carbonell-recommended one- man show Confessions of a Nightingale playing the role of Tennessee Williams, directed by Jeffrey Bruce. Christopher’s most recent Carbonell nomination was for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (John aka Fountainhead) in the New City Players production of Water by the Spoonful directed by Elizabeth Price. Other recent roles include Herr Schultz (Cabaret), Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), Commander Whitaker/Dr. Stone (A Few Good Men), Jack Lawson (Race), Mr. Paravicini (The Mousetrap), Ernst Janning (Judgment at Nuremberg), Twimble/Womper (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Black Stache (Peter and the Starcatcher), Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance), and Brick (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof). Christopher has been a faculty member at Miami Beach Senior High for a quarter century, music director at Kendall Presbyterian Church, a member of the jazz vocal quintet, The Decotones, and, most importantly, married for the past 38 years to the most wonderful woman in the world, Lynne: an extraordinary ballet teacher, ballroom dancer, and life partner!
Shalia Sakona (Performer)
Shalia Sakona is delighted to be returning to the PPTOPA stage to play with some dear former castmates, after previously performing in Mary Poppins (Mary), Les Miserables (Cosette), Gypsy (Louise), Carousel (Julie Jordan), Something Rotten (Portia), and Evita (the Mistress). Additional regional credits include Cinderella in Into the Woods, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ophelia in Hamlet, Nina in In the Heights, Luisa in ZORRO the Musical, Philia in . . . Forum, and Maggie in A Chorus Line. By day, Shalia is a litigation partner at Bilzin Sumberg in Miami, which was named Florida’s Litigation Firm of the Year by Benchmark Litigation five of the last ten years. She is also a proud member of Zoetic Stage’s Board of Directors. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Musical Theater and Law and Society from American University (summa cum laude) and a J.D. from Boston College Law School (cum laude).
Steven Fuentes (Performer)
Steven Is thrilled to be part of this amazing production. Steven attended the University of Tampa as a musical theatre major. His favorite productions include the national tours of Mame and Showboat. Regional productions: Titanic, (Murdoch) and Hunchback of Notre Dame. Mary Poppins, (Bert). Les Misérables, (Grantaire). A Chorus Line, (Gregory Gardener). Into the Woods, (Prince/ Wolf). Brigadoon, (Tommy Albright). Hello Dolly, (Cornelius Hackle). Oliver (Bill Sykes). The Addams Family (Gomez Addams). Steven wants to express his gratitude to his family and friends for all their love and support.
Bob Ruggles (Performer)
Bob is so excited to be performing once again on the PPTOPA stage! He was most recently seen in 35mm at Barclay Performing Arts and as Malcom in The Full Monty at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center. Some of his favorite past credits include: Anthony in Sweeney Todd at PPTOPA, William Shakespeare in Something Rotten at PPTOPA, Victor in Cabaret at PPTOPA, Gabe in Next to Normal at The Star Center, Doody in Grease at GCP, and Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid at GCP.
