Elf Jr. the Musical follows Buddy, a human raised as an elf, as he travels from the North Pole to New York City to find his biological father, Walter Hobbs. Unbeknownst to him, Walter is a busy businessman who doesn't believe in Christmas, and Buddy's presence disrupts the Hobbs family life. Buddy's mission is to use his childlike enthusiasm and firm belief in Santa to bring Christmas spirit back to the city, win over his cynical new family, and help everyone remember the joy of the holidays.
