Brian P. Evans (Salty)is directing something! Previous directing credits include: Ah, Eurydice!, The Duck Variations, Marry Me A Little, and music directing Seussical. He is much more likely to be on the stage performing. Previous credits include: Mr. Fezziwig and others, A Christmas Carol (Lighthouse Players); Horace Vandergelder, Hello, Dolly! (Patio Playhouse); Anthony J. Lefcourt, The Butler Did It (PowPAC); Roy Hubley, Plaze Suite (Star Theatre Company); and Larry Vauxhall, Inspecting Carol (PowPAC). He has ACT Aubrey Awards for his portrayals of Chester Nurdiger in The Artificial Jungle, Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher and Robert in Betrayal. He also won a San Diego Playbill Billie for his portrayal of Nicodemus/Lady Enid/Alcazar in The Mystery of Ima Vep. Brian has his MFA in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University after getting his BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of New Mexico. Even he doesn't know quite how that happened. Dawn Marie Zuniga-Williams (Hobby)(she/her) is so excited to be back at Patio Playhouse, where she was last seen in her dream role as Laura/Adie in Footlight Frenzy. She has been performing in San Diego theatres for over 40 years. Favorite roles include Tanya in Mamma Mia (Coronado Playhouse), Lyn in The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Coronado Playhouse, Luminary Arts), Val in A Chorus Line (Sunshiine/Brooks), Fred in Once Upon A Mattress (Santee Community Theatre), Miss Hannigan in Rosamund in Robber Bridegroom (Santee Community Theatre), Texas in Cabaret (OnStage Productions), and Lucy in Snoopy!! (Pickwick Players). She'd like to thank Brian and Julia for being amazing cast members (and Brian for his terrific direction). This show is a love letter to all the wonderful teachers in her life. Most of all, thank you to her lovely wife Adriana for being so supportive.
Julia Smith (Gail)is grateful to be back onstage at her hometown theatre! Recent credits from both sides of the table include On Golden Pond (Patio Playhouse), I Never Sang For My Father, Ordinary People, Passing Conversations (PowPAC), Life by Numbers (Lamplighters), Macbeth, On The Verge (Luminary Arts), A Christmas Carol, Sharon (Cygnet). Julia trained at the William Esper Studio (NYC) and Upright San Diego and NYU. In addition to acting and directing, Julia works in marketing and serves on the Board at both PowPAC and Luminary Arts.
