Ibrahim Miari
Ibrahim Miari—an accomplished theater artist, educator, based in the Philadelphia area, Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience to the stage, blending artistry with a deep commitment to storytelling and education. A graduate of Boston University’s College of Fine Arts (MFA, Theater Education) and Western Galilee College, Ibrahim honed his craft as a member of the Acco Theater Ensemble for 12 years before embarking on an international career. His U.S. acting credits include powerful performances in The Humans (Rich), Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (Musa), and The Fever Chart (Ali) with Underground Railway Theater. His critically acclaimed solo show, In Between, has toured globally, gracing stages at the United Solo Festival (NYC), Vienna’s Theater Festival, Leeds (UK), and beyond. Recognized for its emotional depth and artistic excellence, the production earned Ibrahim a 2014 IRNE Award nomination (Best Solo Show), Best Show at Kiel Festival (Germany, 2018), and the Audience Favorite Award in Bitola, North Macedonia (2022). Beyond the stage, Ibrahim serves as a full-time Hebrew lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania.
