Little Shop of Horrors is a sci-fi horror comedy musical about a meek flower shop assistant named Seymour Krelborn, who discovers a strange, R&B-singing plant that craves blood. The plant, Audrey II, promises Seymour fame and fortune in exchange for feeding on human blood, forcing him to make increasingly difficult and morally compromising choices as the plant grows larger and more menacing. High school productions are a popular and accessible way to perform this show, which includes classic songs and a dark, humorous plot.
