Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Parkersburg South HS

Parkersburg South High School is affiliated with the Educational Theatre Association as the International Thespian Society’s troupe #1540. This organization was founded in 1929 in West Virginia in order to promote excellence in Secondary School Theatre. Parkersburg South High School’s involvement with ITS began in , when the troupe was chartered in October 1967. In order to become inducted into this international organization, a student must earn ten points, either working on stage or back stage for the schools’ productions. (Each point is worth approximately 10 hours’ worth of work. Suggested point values may be found on the Educational Theatre Association’s website) Once a student acquires the ten points needed for induction, they receive an invitation to join ITS.
