Creator, Director, Performer (Tony Santamauro)
TONY SANTAMAURO is an accomplished “Song and Dance man” who also directs, choreographs, writes and stages shows for other acts as well as his own. He wrote and directed the first musical that Robert Klein ever starred in. Now he has a currently running, very successful show that he wrote, directed and stars in along with his daughter entitled “Day After Day....The Magic of Doris Day” which has been performed in theaters and hotels on both coasts to rave reviews. The father-daughter duo has also performed all over the world with their cabaret show, opening on tour for Jackie Mason, Eddie Fischer and Rodney Dangerfield, to name a few. Tony has also developed, using his extensive video and music collection and knowledge of the arts, musical lectures that he gives regularly in colleges and retirement homes across the Los Angeles area.
Performer (Christy Mauro-Cohen)
CHRISTY MAURO-COHEN has established a stunning vocal career with performances in such prestigious venues as The Fountainbleu, The Diplomat and The Newport Resort Hotels on Miami Beach; cruise ship appearances aboard the Cunard, Norwegian and Premiere Lines; and recordings of Volume Sets of Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Jazz Standards and Pop Hits. She has opened for Eddie Fisher, Rodney Dangerfield, Jackie Mason and Robert Klein, to name a few. She performed for Clint Eastwood’s Mayoral swearing in ceremony in Carmel, CA. Christy is currently the featured singer at the famed Derby Restaurant in Arcadia, and has performed at Club Thirty in Waterbury, CT., and Merv Griffin’s Resorts International in Atlantic City. She played Patsy Cline in Always, Patsy Cline in Las Vegas with Sally Struthers. Regional Theatre includes: Maria in Sound of Music, Daisy Gamble in On A Clear Day..., Guinevere in Camelot, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Mabel in Mack and Mabel, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Esmeralda in Hunchback of Notre Dame, Victor/Victoria in Victor/Victoria and has given over 200 performances as Eva Peron in Evita. Christy also performs her one-woman Cabaret Show for cruise ships, country clubs, condos and hotels in Los Angeles, Atlantic City and Miami. Performer (Jon Peterson)
JON PETERSON has performed professionally for over 30 years in National Tours, Cruise Ships, Regional Theaters, Children’s Theater and as a chorister for 14 operas at Opera Pacific including La Boheme at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. He has been a proud member of the American Guild of Musical Artists for 29 years. As a true triple threat, Jon has worked in the theater as a Producer, Director, Choreographer, Musical Director, Singer, Dancer and Actor. He currently serves as a the Executive Artistic Director of P3 Theatre Company. Some of his favorite theatrical roles include Juan Peron in Evita, Al in A Chorus Line, John Utterson in Jekyll and Hyde, Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly, Curly in Oklahoma and the Governor in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
Musical Director (David Cohen)
DAVID COHEN hails from Los Angeles and is an accomplished professional musician. He has accompanied numerous Broadway tours including The Lion King and The Sound of Music, and has worked with Sally Struthers, John Davidson, Rosalyn Kind and Joan Rivers. David is also active in the local music scene and can be found performing with his wife, Christy, regularly at the famed Derby Restaurant in Arcadia. He also performs at temples and churches and for various cabaret acts.
