Sister Act Cast

Deonia Conquest cannot believe she has the chance to play Deloris in this year's production of Sister Act. Deonia resides in Pine Hill, and is at last a senior. Deonia’s credits include: Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Ensemble), Seussical (Jungle Ensemble), Once Upon A Mattress (Queen Aggravain), Declaration (Monica), The Wedding Singer (Holly), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator). She would like to thank every single one of her friends for the amount of encouragement they give her to keep her going. She will miss Overbrook’s stage dearly.

Riley Roback can not wait to play Mother Superior in her very last show at Overbrook, Sister Act. Riley, a senior, has also been in Seussical (ensemble), Once Upon A Mattress (Lady Larkin), The Crucible (Judge Hawthorne), Almost Maine (Hope & Marvalyn), The Wedding Singer (Julia). She is very excited to add Sister Act to the list. She would like to thank her teachers for being so awesome throughout these four years, her family for dealing with all of her loud singing and she wants to wish her fellow castmates the best of luck!

Natalie Sosing is looking forward to her role as Sister Mary Robert. She believes that this is the perfect way to end her freshman year. This is the first production that Natalie has been in and is proud to say that her first ever role is one in Sister Act. Natalie would like to thank everyone who supported her during her audition and encouraged her further during callbacks. She says, and I quote, “Check yourself before you Shrek yourself.”

Lyanie Pagan is extremely excited for her second performance here on the Overbrook stage. Last year, she was a part of Wedding Singer (Sideburns Lady/Imedla Marcos Impersonator) and this time, as Mary Patrick. Lyanie is from Clementon, NJ, and is currently a sophomore. Before attending Overbrook, Lyanie participated in Hairspray Jr (Lyanne), Once Upon A Mattress Jr (Lady In Waiting), Legally Blonde Jr (Paulette), Bye Bye Birdie (teen ensemble), Addams Family Jr (Wednesday), Pippin, and lastly Les Miserables (ensemble). She would like to say thank you to her family and friends for all the support!!

Simone Pratt is in the 10th grade and this is her third show at Overbrook High School First, The Crucible, The Wedding Singer, and now Sister Act! In her old school, she was in Once Upon a Mattress Jr, Legally Blonde Jr, and The Addams Family Jr. Simone would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting and believing in her.

Katie Galloway is very excited to be back on the stage for the musical Sister Act. She is in her junior year at Overbrook High School. She has previously been in The Wedding Singer (Angie/Ensemble), Declaration (various), The Crucible (Ann Putnam), The Laramie Project (various) and the one act, Superheroes (Hulk). She would love to thank her two best friends Emma Bell and Brianna Jacob for always being there. And a special thank you to her family for supporting her. “Together we fight, dad”

Yasmine Richardson is super excited to be a part of the OHS production Sister Act. Yasmine is from Pine Hill, NJ and is a junior this year. Previous Overbrook credits include: Declaration (Various), Wedding Singer (Twinkies Lady), as well as Almost Maine (Villian and Rhonda). Yasmine is also in choir and band. She would like to thank all of her besties and her mom for all of their support. Always remember… class of 2021 will always be the best!

Tommy Papasadora ( Monsignor O'Hara) cannot wait to perform in his final musical at Overbrook. His previous credits include "The Wedding Singer"(Jared Shapiro, Billy Idol Impersonator), "Almost, Maine" ( Steve, Phil, Chad), "The Crucible" ( Reverend Parris), "Once Upon a Mattress" (Sir Studley). Isaiah Robinson is extremely excited, but also devastated to end his high school theatre career on the OHS stage with Sister Act. Previous Overbrook credits include The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), Almost Maine (Jimmy, Randy, & Lendall), Getting Sara Married (Noogie), Once Upon a Mattress (Prince Dauntless), The Crucible (Reverend Hale), The Laramie Project, and Declaration. Isaiah plans to further his theatre career at Montclair State University where he will earn a BFA in acting. He would like to thank all his friends and family for their support. He’d like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Kim, Ms, Panvini, and Ms. Evans for their letters of recommendation and never ending wisdom. “Can’t break a leg when you have 2020 vision……...Isaiah out!!! Sidney Pratt is very excited to be playing Curtis in Overbrook’s production of Sister Act. Sidney hails from Clementon, NJ, and is currently a senior at OHS. His previous theatrical performances include: The Wizard of Oz (Uncle Henry), Once Upon A Mattress (Sir Harry) and The Wedding Singer (David, 2nd Suit, Bad Haircut Guy, Ensemble) . Jacob Flores is elated to be a part of Sister Act. He is from Clementon, NJ, and he is currently a senior at Overbrook. He would like to thank Tim “The God” Moore for being an astounding inspiration. Words by Tim to live by: “I Love Musicals!”

John Kosar is proud to be in Sister Act: The Musical. He lives in Pine Hill, NJ with his parents and little brother. He would like to thank his Mom for encouraging him to do what makes him happy. Santino Magazzu is so very grateful to be a part of his now second musical at Overbrook and second musical ever. Santino resides in West Berlin, NJ, and is a sophomore this year. Although he is still new to stage, he makes up for his inexperience with his talent, hard work, and confidence. He would like to thank his friends, family and especially Ms. Panvini for all the support.

Marley Smith is extremely excited to be joining the cast of Sister Act the Musical. She is from Clementon and is in her sophomore year in Overbrook. She was previously in Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Enchantress),The Little Mermaid Jr. (Sebastian), Frozen Jr. (Olaf), James and the Giant Peach Jr. (vagrant/featured dancer/ensemble), Camp Rock Jr. (ensemble), Cinderella (ensemble), and finally Declaration (Science Kid). She would like to thank her parents for all the love and support!!! “Let’s break a leg”

Avonte Davis is very excited to be back on the Overbrook stage in the production of Sister Act. Avonte currently lives in Clementon, NJ and is a junior this year. He has previously been on Overbrook’s stage starring in The Wedding Singer (Ensemble), The Crucible (Thomas Putnam), The Laramie Project (Moises Kaufman) and Once Upon a Mattress (Featured Dancer). He has also dedicated his time to understudying two roles in the play Getting Sara Married, his freshmen year. He would like to thank his Mom and Dad for their love and support, along with always supporting him and everything he does when the going gets tough. Avonte would like to wish the cast and crew of Sister Act good luck and hopes everyone breaks a leg!

Amaya Bullock is extremely excited to be in her first musical at Overbrook High School. As a freshman, Amaya resides in Pine Hill, NJ. Though this her first musical production, she is ready to prove herself that she belongs in this show. She would like to thank her friends and family. Also, she would like to especially thank her Mother for helping her and encouraging her to audition.

Aliyah Cruz is from Pine Hill, NJ and is a junior this year. She has previously been in The Crucible (Martha Corey), Once Upon A Mattress (Lady in Waiting), Declaration (Beth), and Action News: Now With 10% More Action (Penelope). Aliyah is also a member of Tri-M and involved in Jazz band, Concert band, and Overtones. She would like to thank Overbrook’s music hallway for allowing her to grow and improve as a performer. Also, she would like to thank her mom and family for allowing her to be the person she is today. “Thanks for always supporting me! Love you.”

Ava Pine can’t wait to step on stage during Sister Act. Ava resides in Pine Hill and is in the 11th grade. Last year, Ava performed as Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible and as Glory & Gayle in this year’s fall play Almost, Maine. Ava would like to thank her Mom, Dad, and Grandmom by saying, “Thank you for supporting me and encouraging me to always do what makes me happy!”

Deirdre Rambo is very excited to be a part of the Nunsemble in Sister Act! She is a junior from Winslow, NJ. Previous shows she has been in include The Crucible (Mary Warren), Once Upon a Mattress (Princess 12), Declaration, and The Laramie Project. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her no matter what!

Amaia Smith is really excited and nervous to be a part of the first musical at Overbrook and first musical ever. Amaia is a sophomore this year and has been doing choir since freshman year. She decided to try something new and get out of her comfort zone. Amaia would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to audition. Also to Ms. Panvini for this amazing opportunity. “Here We Go!”

Isabella Weinstein is so happy to be in another awesome musical! She gets to be a nun in The Sister Act!! She is so excited to work with another beautifully talented cast and crew. Isabella lives in Clementon, NJ. She was previously in The Wizard of Oz (Munchkins), Hairspray Jr (Ensemble), Once Upon A Mattress Jr (Princess #12), Legally Blonde Jr (Vivian Kensington), and The Addams Family Jr (Morticia Addams) at CES. She would like to thank her amazing mom, dad, and brother Sebastian for always being by her side through every show and concert. She is thankful for April, Jor Jor, Dave and Grand Mac for being the most supportive family that isn't blood. Isabella would also like to thank Gabe for always being by her side through all her crazy hopes and dreams. Much love to you all!

Nalae Zachary-Hairston is thrilled to be in her first OHS musical, Sister Act. Nalae currently resides in Pine Hill, NJ and is a freshman this year. She would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to do what she loves most and believing in her.

Alexis Bozella is very excited to be a part of the ensemble for Sister Act. This is her first performance at Overbrook High School. She is from Pine Hill NJ and in her freshman year at Overbrook High School. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her in what she does.

Kat Brennan can’t wait to be in her first musical, Sister Act. This is her first performance as part of the cast. Kat is from Pine Hill, NJ, and is a freshman this year. Kat also plays trumpet for Overbrook’s Lab Jazz Band and Jazz Band. She is looking forward to being more involved with Overbrook’s plays and musicals.

Jon Degrecio is excited to be a part of the musical Sister Act! Though he has previous shows under his belt, such as Almost, Maine and Declaration, Jon can’t wait to be a part of his first musical. Jon would like to thank Ms. Panvini and Sir Thomas Papasadora for his growth and motivation. “Yeahhhh."

Kayla Eanes is very excited to be a part of her first musical, Sister Act! A freshman coming from West Berlin, NJ, Kayla is on the Bowling Team, and is involved with many extracurricular activities. Kayla is looking forward to being in more of the drama department's musicals and plays in the future! She also wants to thank her aunt and uncle for their constant love and support through all the things she has invested her time into.

Vincent Eakins is stoked to be a part of the ensemble of Sister Act. This is Vincent’s final show at Overbrook High School. Vince previously performed in A Christmas Carol (ensemble), Once Upon a Mattress (ensemble), and The Crucible (Hopkins). He was also a member of the stage crew for Seussical and The Wedding Singer. Vincent would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him and his goals. They made his time at Overbrook worth it. “Never give up on your dreams, even when you feel like you’re down on your luck. Hard work will make you stronger in the long run and that is something to strive for.”

Celestine Flowers has played in many different play productions here at Overbrook. She was in the musical The Wedding Singer (Tiffany) and The Crucible (Tituba) last year. She is a proud member of the Drama Club.

Naiza Goolsby is a senior in OHS and is ecstatic for her first and last musical performance on the Overbrook High School stage. Naiza resides in Pine Hill, NJ and is thrilled to play the Bartender in the musical, Sister Act. She has been a member of the stage crew for Once Upon a Mattress, Wedding Singer, and Almost Maine. Previous productions she's been in include The Laramie Project, Declaration, Check Please, Tracks (Businesswoman), and The Door (Justina). She would like to thank her friends, family, and teachers for giving her confidence in trying for the auditions and in life. “When life gives you lemons, squeeze them right back in life’s eyes” - Nicole Watterson.

Gabby Hoeger is super excited to thrill the crowd in her first Overbrook performance. She is a freshman at Overbrook High School. Gabby has been dancing at Kathy’s Dance Center since she was two years old. This will be her second ever musical production. She played a dancing fairy and the one and only tapping crocodile in Peter Pan. Gabby would like to thank her family for the continuous love and support in everything she does.

Giona Hollingsworth is excited to be a part of the ensemble of Sister Act. She lives in Pine Hill, NJ and is currently a sophomore at OHS. Her previous performances at Overbrook are: The Crucible (Ruth Putnam) and Declaration. She would love to thank her friends and family for encouraging her.

Sekeka Naznin is excited to be a part of her first mainstage musical! Sekeka is from West Berlin, NJ. Previously she was in Almost, Maine (Ginette), Declaration (Lou), and The Laramie Project. She was an assistant stage manager for The Crucible and was a part of tech crew for The Wedding Singer. Sekeka is also Lead Cappie and a Drama Club officer. She would like to thank her friends, family and Ms. Panvini for always supporting her. Finally, she would like to thank the marvelous, ever- so- enchanting, Jason Alexander Morlock for existing.

This is Frank Quinn's debut production with the Overbrook theater department. What he lacks in experience, he makes up for with pure energy and a strong presence on stage. As a freshman he looks forward to continuing his development in the performing arts.

Illyana Smith is an 11th grader from West Berlin and is in the ensemble for Sister Act. She has previously been in The Wedding Singer (ensemble), The Crucible (Sarah Good), Once Upon a Mattress (ensemble) and The Laramie Project. Illyana would like to thank her little sister, Kylee, for her continuous support.

Emily Williams is very excited to be onstage this year in Overbrook High School's Sister Act. Emily hails from Pine Hill, New Jersey and is currently a freshman at OHS. She would like to thank her family and friends for pushing her to audition when she was nervous.
