Hadestown Cast

Sawyer is so excited to be a part of this Hadestown Cast! Life can feel overwhelming and disappointing, but seven simple notes in this show and we are reminded of what’s important: loyalty, love, and endless forgiveness. So here’s to the world we live in now. Sawyer gives thanks to God, his family, and Mrs Michelle for their constant wisdom and direction.

Lara is 14 years old, and extremely greatful to portray this role in Hadestown. She was last seen as Catherine Parr (Six), Janis (Mean Girls), aswell as the stage manager for Be More Chill. This is her 11th year at Ovation. Lara would like to thank Miss. Michelle and Mr. Matt for this incredible opportunity, as well as all of her cast members, which are all extremely supportive and kindhearted!

Ava Gooby is a Junior at Bradenton Christian School. I am playing Fate 1. Previously, Ive played Torrey in Freaky Friday, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, and Marfa in Anastasia. Currently, I hold office as president of Tri-M music honors society at BCS as well as a leader in my school’s worship band. I was in the Florida All State chorus 2021 and 2022. I dedicate my performance to God and my mother.

Morgan is so excited to be involved in this dream production of Hadestown. Morgan is a sophomore at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School and she has recently been seen in Mean Girls (Gretchen) Be More Chill (Chloe) SIX (Anne Boleyn) and The Addams Family (Alice). She would like to thank Ms Jenny and Ms Michelle for trusting her with this incredible opportunity. She thanks her incredible cast mates for being the best group of people she could ask for and always making her laugh.

Eden Holtz is an 9th grader at Lakewood Ranch Prep. She has been dancing for 7 years. She loves to read and do puzzles. Eden has fallen in love with musical theatre since her first experience during Hamilton Camp and hopes to be on Broadway one day. She would like to thank Mrs. Michelle for helping her grow and learn during Hadestown and her family and cast for their endless support!

Owen is excited to be a part of his first show at Ovation. He is an 8th grader at Nolan Middle School. Owen enjoys reading, singing, dancing and all things musical theater. Favorite previous show credits include The Sound of Music (Friedrich von Trapp), Beauty and the Beast Jr (Cogsworth), and The Wizard of Oz (Ensemble). Owen would like to thank Michelle and Matt for including him in the Hadestown cast. He would also like to thank his family and friends for supporting him and all his crazy ideas. Charlotte Pesano is proud to be joining the cast of Hadestown. She is a native Lakewood Ranch resident, where she is a graduating Senior of high school in May of this year. After graduation, she will be attending Florida School of the Arts, where she hopes to pursue a Stage Management and Technology degree. In her spare time, she enjoys live theatre and hanging out with her friends and family. Her past performances include: The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Beetlejuice, Annie, Mary Poppins, High School Musical 2 and more.
