Ugly (Laila Khatib)
Laila Khatib is thirteen and was born and raised in New Jersey. She is currently completing middle school and will attend the PCVTS Performing Arts Program in the fall. Her passions are singing, writing, and creating cartoons. Laila is a member of the eighth-grade choir; her voice part is a soprano. She finds inspiration in the works of Jonathan Larson and Lin Manuel Miranda. Honk is her first stage production. Laila is grateful for this experience and looks forward to many more.
Ida (Madison Skye Salamon)
This is Madison’s first time performing with Old Library Theater. (She was originally chosen to play Violet in Willy Wonka, Jr. prior to COVID) Some of her favorite roles include: Janet in Drowsy Chaperone (Aspire), Pepper in Annie (Rhino), Anna in Frozen, Jr. (Rhino), and Little Red in Into The Woods (Acting A Part.) Madison has performed with the Nocktaves, a competitive Acappella group, as well as the Morris Area and Regional Honor Choirs. She attends the Morris County Academy for Performing Arts - Theater High School program. Madison has loved being a part of the “Honk” cast and playing Momma duck! She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support.
Cat (Raven Roth)
Raven, a 9th grader in Lakeland Regional HS, is very excited to be back on the OLT stage. They have been performing since they were 8 years old. Some favorite roles include: Rag time (Little Boy/Edgar), Falsettos (Jason), Disaster (Ben/Lisa), The Full Monty (Nathan, Perry Nomination), Barnum (PT Barnum), Fun Home (John Bechdel), The Wedding Singer (George) and Clue (Yvette). Apart from stage work, Raven has acted in a short film (Pigeon Feeding). Raven holds a black belt in karate and is a 4 time tournament champion. Raven would like to thank their family and friends for all their support.
Drake (Amelia Teigen)
Amelia Teigen, 15 and a classically trained pianist who started at age five, hails from Emerson. She enjoyed lead roles as Cat in The Cat in the Hat in 2019 and as Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach in 2018. She then developed as ensemble in Godspell in early 2020. She plays in both her school’s concert and marching bands, where she is section leader for low brass. In her free time, she loves to draw, win video games, and play tennis.
Queenie / Maureen (Sophia Fisicaro)
Sophia is excited to be a part of the cast of Honk! This is her first show with Old Library Theatre. Previously she has played the part of Evie, in “Welcome to America” and Robin in “All That Glitters”, original musicals of the workshop program at Broadway Bound Center for Performance and Dance, where Sophia also trains in voice, dance and piano.   She has also been a part of the children’s ensemble of Broadway Bound’s original musical “Brooklyn” and the role of Daisy in the Descendants the musical.  When not performing, Sophia enjoys playing Basketball and Soccer.
Lowbutt / Snowy / Fish (Ava Acconzo)
Ava Acconzo, age 13, has loved to sing since she was 3 years old. She has done several acting camps since she was 6 years old through Rhino Theatre, such as Annie, Beauty & The Beast, School of Rock, Wizard of Oz & Matilda. This is Ava’s first full musical production and she is excited to be a part of the Old Library Theatre team! Ava has been taking voice lessons at Architeckt in Butler for one year. Recently, she received honorable mention in the Hal Leonard National Vocal Competition- Art Song category in just her first year competing. Ava is a 7th grade honor student and has been a Girl Scout since was 5 years old. She plays in both concert and symphonic band as a percussionist at her middle school. She is also in the jazz/rock & percussion ensemble at school and plays the ukulele. Ava is passionate, kind and always stands up for what she believes in. During her free time, Ava enjoys listening to music, doing puzzles, playing Minecraft with her younger brother, being creative with art cosplaying and most of all, learning SFX make up. Ava hopes to graduate middle school, attend Morris County School of Technology and earn a degree in cosmetology to be able to one day work behind the scenes of movies.
Greylag / Fish (Sebastian Cubillas)
Sebastian is 13 years old from Lyndhurst NJ. He is excited to perform for the first time with Old Library Theater. Special thanks to the cast and crew. Recent theater credits: Peter Pan (Michael Darling), You're a good man Charlie Brown (Schroeder), Disney's Descendants (Chad), Peace Love and Cupcakes (Josh), Once Upon a Mattress (Prince Dauntless), 13 the Musical Jr. (Malcolm), Matilda the Musical (Bruce), Addams Family (Uncle Fester). Sebastian has been attending theater classes and dance in Broadway Bound for over six years. He plays the piano and loves chess, soccer and tennis.
Grace / Dot (Samantha Trefel)
Samantha has been singing and performing since she was just a little toddler, constantly entertaining the family and putting up shows. She performed in multiple productions and loves the stage. With Old Library Theater company Samantha was involved with Mary Poppins and Willy Wonka, and now she is excited to perform with her younger sister Talia in Honk! She loves classical music, visiting museums and reading.
Bullfrog / Barnacles / Fish (River Foley)
River Foley (Bull Frog) is making his Old Library Theater debut. River is thrilled to be a part of this cast. River just wrapped as James and an Oompa Loompa in his school’s production of Willy Wonka Jr. River has also roared as Scar in the Lion King Jr. River loves performing in his school’s talent shows, singing to Kiss, Nirvana and Panic at the Disco. River plays Football, Basketball and Lacrosse . He loves Stranger Things, Pokemon, extreme roller coasters, and adventures with his brothers Ryder and Rain and cousins Shane and Sawyer. River would like to thank his family and friends who he loves …warts and all.
Turkey (Gabe Vasquez)
Gabe is excited to be finally making his OLT debut with Honk. He was most recently seen in the Christmas Caper at HACPAC. He also loves skateboarding and playing his clarinet at school. He is looking forward to many more shows.
Penny / J-Bird / Fish (Mia Cubillas)
Mia is thrilled to be back at OLT. She most recently appeared in Peter Pan (Liza), Shrek, The Musical (Peter Pan), Disney’s Descendants (Audrey), Once Upon a Mattress (Dance Captain), Mary Poppins (Doll), A little Princess (Avery), Brooklyn (Chorus Kids). Dancing since age 4, She has trained in Broadway Bound for musical theater and dance. Mia plays the guitar and love chess. She thanks to her parents, cast and crew for the support.
Henrietta / Goose Squad (Harper An)
Harper is 11 years old and this is her first time being in a production. She loves art, playing the piano and swimming. Her favorite food is Korean rice cake, her favorite place is Hawaii, and her favorite animal is her dog, Oak.
Parent Swan / Pinkfoot / Fish (Lauren Tesker)
Lauren is an 11 year old Fair Lawn native who performed in her school productions of “Aladdin” and Annie Jr”. She enjoys writing fan fiction, painting and singing. Lauren is very excited to be part of “Honk Jr” as it is her first production with The Old Library Theatre.
Duckling - Fluff (Talia Trefel)
Talia has been entertaining her family seemingly from birth. She loves to dance and sing. Once when she was just three years old, she spent weeks practicing to show her voice to Ariel in Disney World. More recently, she has completed the Harry Potter series and loves the wizarding world, although if you ask her, it’s all about Hermione Granger. Talia has a sharp wit and is looking forward to her theatrical debut with the Old Library Theater Company in Honk!
Duckling - Downy (Delilah Gorlov)
Delilah is so excited to be in her first Theatre experience, performing the part of Downy in Honk. Delilah is 10 years old and is completing the 5th grade. Delilah loves dogs, gymnastics, singing and has a love for magic. Delilah hopes to continue her passion in the performing arts. Delilah was born and raised in NY and is excited to leave a footprint in the Old Library Theatre in Fair Lawn, her home town.
Duckling - Beaky (Emmeline Vasquez)
Emmeline is so happy to be making her OLT debut with Honk. She was most recently in a production of Christmas Caper at HACPAC. She loves music and hopes to write her own musical show one day. She has loved the experience with OLT and is looking forward to more shows in the future.
Duckling - Billy (Ben Donio)
Ben was born with the beat and is always dancing, singing and learning several instruments. He also enjoys baking, writing, hockey, and so many other things. He is excited for his first theatrical performance.
