2025 Senior Capstone Dance Concert Choreographers

Senior BFA
Aliya AbeidAliya Abeid is pursuing a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography at Ohio University, with a minor in Buisiness Administration (2026). She has trained in various styles, including Cecchetti ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, and African styles. This past year, she performed in the Winter Dance Concert at Ohio University in pieces, Be-Longing (2025) by Travis Gatling and Come Together (2025) by Donald Isom. She performed her solo unSEEn moMEnts (2024) in the informal concert at the American College Dance Association East-Central Conference at Grand Valley State University (2025). Her latest endeavor includes performing at the Cleveland Dance Festival 2025 in Christi Camper Moore’s Whispered in the Woods (2025).

Gwendolyn CardimenGwendolyn Cardimen is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography, a minor in Studio Art, and a certificate in Performing Arts Health and Wellness (2026). Originally from Columbus, Ohio, she began dancing in 2006 and trained in various movement styles and techniques. Some of Gwendolyn’s recent performances include attending the American College Dance Association and performing in Split Seconds by Kendall Hayes, and being a part of Christi Camper Moore’s latest work, Whispered in the Woods, which was performed at Ohio University’s Winter Dance Concert (2025) and will be presented at the Cleveland Dance Festival (2025). Gwendolyn also performed and choreographed her latest solo, Stripped Away, which premiered at the Mediums in Motion exhibit at the Kennedy Museum of Art (2025). She also serves on the executive board as the Head of Programming for The Movement Org, a student dance organization. Gwendolyn is a recipient of numerous scholarships and grants from Ohio University, some of which include the Experiential Learning Grant, Fine Arts Talent Enhancement, and the Hazel and Carr Liggett Memorial Scholarship.

Annabelle ColemanAnnabelle Coleman is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography, a Minor in Marketing, and a certificate in Social Media at Ohio University (2026). Originally from Holly Springs, North Carolina, she began dancing in 2005 and has trained in various dance styles. Annabelle spent the summer at American Dance Festival studying dance with Jenna Riegle and Ravid Abarbanel. She recently performed in Christi Camper-Moore’s piece Whispered in the Woods, performed at Ohio University’s Winter Dance Concert (2025) and Cleveland Dance Festival (2025). Additionally, she attended the American College Dance Association conference and performed Kendall Hayes’s work, split seconds, (2025). Annabelle is an active member of the Ohio University community. She is the Vice President of The Movement Organization, the Vice President of Membership Experience of Alpha Delta Pi, Xi Chapter, and represents the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts as a Student Ambassador. Annabelle is a recipient of many scholarships, such as the Fine Arts Talent Trustee, Fine Arts Talent Enhancement, and the OHIO Excellence Scholar.

Hallee CremeansHallee Cremeans is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography, along with a certificate in social media and performing arts health and wellness (2026). She began dancing in 2008 and has trained in a variety of styles, including modern, jazz, ballet, tap, commercial hip-hop, and ballroom. In February 2025, she performed Be-Longing, choreographed by Travis Gatling, in the Winter Dance Concert at Ohio University. In April 2025, she performed a solo work, Echoes of Her, which premiered at the Mediums and Motion event in collaboration with the Kennedy Museum of Art in Athens, Ohio. Later that spring, she choreographed a group piece titled Manipulated Minds, presented during the Junior Projects showing at Ohio University.

Josephine ForrestJosephine Forrest is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography, and a certificate in Performing Arts Health and Wellness at Ohio University (2026). She began dancing in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has trained in several styles, including tap, clogging, jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, acrobatics, hip-hop, musical theater, and ballroom. She also danced competitively for eleven years and is currently a dance teacher at Factory Street Studio. This year, she premiered her new solo work, Innocence in Bloom, which was performed as part of a collaboration with the Kennedy Museum of Art (Athens, OH, 2025). She also performed in the Winter Dance Concert at Ohio University in the piece, Pixelated Persona (2025) by Anthony Alterio. She most recently collaborated with the Nelsonville-York High School colour guard and band in creating a work for they’re competitions, which premiered in October of 2025.

Lainey HarbertLainey Harbert is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography, a minor in Applied Nutrition, and a certificate in Performing Arts Health and Wellness at Ohio University (2026). She has been dancing for sixteen years and has trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, musical theater, contemporary, pom, and hip-hop.
Most recently, she traveled to Austin, Texas to perform a new solo work by Anthony Alterio titled “Everything I Never Wore…” for the Small Plates Choreography Festival. She also performed at the Cleveland Dance Festival in the group work “whispered in the woods” choreographed by Christi Camper-Moore. She is a member of the Ohio University Dance Team where she competed with the team in April of 2025 to receive a division one placement in pom and runner up in jazz at the Dance Team Union College Classic. She is the recipient of the Fine Arts Talent Enhancement award, the OHIO Excellence Scholar award, and the OHIO Forward scholarship.

Senior BFA
Chloe StocksettChloe Stocksett is pursuing her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BS in Psychology at Ohio University (2026). Her latest work, How Heavy Is Empty?, recently premiered in the Junior Project Showing. She also recently performed in Dr. Christi Camper-Moore’s work Whispered in the Woods as part of Ohio University’s Winter Dance Concert, and she will perform it again at the Cleveland Dance Festival in November. In addition, her most recent solo, more than one, less than me, was presented at the Medium in Motion exhibit at the Kennedy Art Museum in Athens, OH. Chloe has received multiple Fine Arts and academic scholarships and was the winner of Ohio University’s 2022 Choreography Competition, receiving a 4-year talent/endowment scholarship. Outside of her majors, Chloe is the President of the Movement Organization at Ohio University and teaches modern dance at Factory Street Studio. Chloe occasionally returns to her hometown, Florence, AL, for choreographic and teaching opportunities, and over the summer, Chloe is a part of the stage crew at the annual Lancaster Festival in Ohio.
