At Birth is an outrageous comedy about the crashing of cultures between two wildly dissimilar couples who meet up when their babies, now eight months old, are discovered to have been switched… at birth. At Birth boils over with a pit bull with a sweet tooth, a pet python, a mourning parrot, breaking hearts, sexual crossfire, slinging insults, brawls, and hideous cupcakes. About the Playwright 

Mark Cornell's full-length plays include his AACT NewPlayFest award-winning play On Pine Knoll Street, The Other Half, (winner of 2019 Getchell Award), Desert Song, Sprucehaven B, and Carolyn Adams.  His short plays have won numerous awards with productions around the world.  He recently completed the feature films The Fog and The Invite.  He is co-creator of Full Nelson Theater, along with Paul Newell, and co-creator of Marked Men Films with Mark Jantzen. He holds an MFA in Playwriting from UCLA.
