Xanadu is a loving tribute and send-up of the 1980 film of the same name, starring Olivia Newton-John.

Sonny Malone has artist's block and is about to give up until he meets Kira, a roller-skating, Australian-accent-sporting girl who seems to appear whenever he needs inspiration. That's because she's really Clio, a Muse from ancient Greek mythology, who has come to Venice Beach, CA, in 1980 thinking she was coming to Venice, Italy, in 1780. Can she truly inspire great art in Sonny without breaking her father Zeus's rules for muses? With songs originally sung by Electric Light Orchestra and Olivia Newton-John herself, Xanadu is a silly, campy story of being true to oneself and finding what really matters.

The Golden Stage Society is the student club that sponsors the spring musical. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to join and participate both in the cast and on the crew.
