In his 25th year, he continues to enjoy teaching and presenting shows at NBHS. He is excited to be working alongside this cast and creative team, to bring this magical musical to our community.

Piano Instructor and Director of Music and Organist at Skyland UMC, was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, lived in eastern NC for many years and moved to Weaverville in 2009 due to her husband’s work. In 2013 she joined Mr. Webb for the production of “Grease” and she just can’t stop! Linda has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy with a Church Music Certificate from Meredith College and a Master of Music in Church Music and Organ from East Carolina University. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Scott. They have two daughters Emily and Eleanor, two rescue Sheltie and seven chickens.

Sonya Monts has twenty years’ experience in dance education. She owned her own independent studio and was the teaching artist for Polk County (NC) Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College and her Certificate in Dance Education from NDEO. For NDEO, Sonya was a sponsor for the National Honor Society of Dance Arts; served on the strategic planning committee; presented her work at state and national levels; and serves on the Dance Education in Practice editorial board. Sonya became a Registered Dance Educator in 2014 and was named NDEO's Outstanding Dance Educator – Independent Sector in 2016. She earned her K-12 Dance Licensure and her Master of Art in Dance Education from UNCG in 2023. Sonya is currently the Arts Educator for Woodson Branch Nature School.

Amanda Klinikowski is a theater creator and educator who has worked with arts education programs across the country. She has taught for private studios and Arts Education programs in North Carolina and New York City, toured nationally with an educational children’s theater program, and facilitated and led workshops for Broadway Classroom in NYC. As an active Teaching Artist and creator in Western North Carolina, Amanda is working to create progressive, inclusive, and accessible performance opportunities for all ages.

Andrew has been working with NBHS Theater for 23 years now. He loves working on shows with Mr.Webb and the students. He can't wait for you to see all of the hard work that has been put into this show.
