Randy Donald (The Cat in the Hat)
Hi, I’m Randy Donald, I’m 17 years old and a senior at Eastern High School. I joined theater back in my freshman year of high school and worked as the Lion in the Wizard of Oz. Sadly, due to the pandemic, we never got to do the show, but I still hold the memory of it all dear to me. This show, I’m happy and excited to be playing the beloved Cat in the Hat alongside our wonderful cast! In my spare time I bake, play video games, and watch whatever I can find for entertainment really. I wanna say thank you to my friends and family, as well as our directors for always putting up with me. I can’t wait to work with this group again, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the show!

I am excited about this show because this is the first time I’ve had a major role. My hobbies (when I have time) are playing video games, hanging out with friends, listening to music, going to see movies, reading, and playing violin. I want to give thanks to my family, my teachers, and my directors and extra curricular teachers for helping me achieve everything.
Alina Levandowski (Gertrude McFuzz)
Hey! My name is Alina Levandowski, I’m 17 years old, and a senior here at Eastern High School. I’ve been in every production here since 7th grade; Little Shop of Horrors, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, Shrek the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, The Addams Family, and now Seussical the Musical. Since freshman year I’ve been treasurer for the class of 2023. I also participate in 3 varsity sports: Volleyball, Swim, and Tennis. Along with those aforementioned sports- I enjoy creating art, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. I also need to thank a few of my co-stars- starting with Aki and Randy for always knowing how to put a smile on my face. Julian for all the rides from swim and for keeping me sane whilst learning eight songs, four dance breaks, and many many more lines And Riley for running lines and practicing choreo with me when we should’ve been working. But ultimately I’d like to thank the staff for cultivating such a unique and welcoming environment. I’ll leave this off by saying that I’m so grateful to have been part of this program, and am looking forward to whatever comes next.
Clara Freeman (Sour Kangaroo)
Ellie Pfeifer (Young Kangaroo)
Kaleigh Pfeifer (Mayzie LaBird)
Hi, I'm Kaleigh. I'm in 11th grade. This will be my 11th full show for Eastern High School. It is my second time doing Seussical. I have been in other shows here at Eastern, including last year's production of The Addams Family. I joined because my parents helped out with the tech behind the scenes as a kid and I'm glad they did because I met an amazing family here at Eastern because of them. Alongside, I do four sports. I am also Eastern's Varsity Club President, along with an officer for our NHS. I am excited for this year's show because I have an amazing cast by my side to make this our best show yet. We also have an amazing tech that is going to help bring this show to life. I want to thank my parents, for bringing me here when I was younger, the staff here for being my second family, and the audience for coming and supporting our show.
Aki Zavala (Mr. Mayor)
Hello, hello! My name is Aki and I'm a senior. I joined theater my 7th grade year and played Bernstein in Little Shop of Horrors. In 8th grade, I played Gingy in Shrek the Musical. Freshmen year I got cast as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, which was ultimately cancelled because of COVID. Last year I played Uncle Fester in The Addams Family. My hobbies consist of playing the Ukulele, cooking, reading and writing, along with playing the game, hanging with friends, and making paper roses. I want to give a huge thank you to my beloved roommate Dre <3 (along with Caleb. You're a real one). You're freakin' awesome and thank you for pushing me when needed. To my dearest and beloved friends, Ty and Dashon. Thank you for keeping me company, cheering me up, and not judging my late night karaoke in my room. To my beloved co-stars, Randy and Alina. You guys are so amazing and I truly am glad to have you both in my life.To my little brother and nephew! Chelo, nano, I love you goofs <3 To my family and friends who have been supportive in general, I truly do appreciate it all. Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Enjoy the show!
Alena Abrego-Lerma (Mrs. Mayor)
My name is Alena Abrego-Lerma and I play Mrs. Mayor in Seussical, I am 17 and now a senior at Eastern. I’ve been in the NOFEB program since my 7th grade year. During this time I have performed in Little Shop of Horrors, Shrek the Musical, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, almost The Wizard of Oz which was canceled due to COVID, and lastly The Addams Family Musical. My original reasoning behind joining this theater program was because I love to dance, sing, and be with my friends. Over the years the reasons have changed. NOFEB’s theater program has become my safe space, the people in it have become my family and I feel like I finally belong somewhere. Theater is a place where I can let everything out and still feel welcomed. This will be my last show here at Eastern High School through the NOFEB program. I want to thank my mom, Ruby Abrego, my aunt and uncle, Michelle and John Lerma, my soulmates, Abbey Simmer, and Blake Davis. Without these people I wouldn't be here. They have been there in my hardest times and I could not be more thankful for them.
Evan Bywater (Vlad Vladikoff / Yertle the Turtle)
Hey I’m Evan and I'm 18 and in 11th grade. I have been in shows like A Year with Frog and Toad where I played 4 roles, a stage hand in West Side Story and Lurch from The Addams Family last year for NOFEB. I joined theater because I thought it would be fun to act, sing, and dance on stage and I was right. It's very fun to perform in front of people and meet new people while doing theater as well. I am excited to be Yertle the Turtle of this show and judge Horton for what he has done to the Jungle of Nool. I am also excited to sit on a giant judge’s stand. I like to play guitar, wrestle, sing, and breakdance in my free time. I wanna give thanks to anyone who gives me rides before and after rehearsals. It means a lot to me.
Hanna Kent (General Ghengis Khan Schmitz)
Karla Bell (The Grinch)
Hi, my name is Karla Bell. I am 16 years old and in 11th grade. I joined theater because I think it's a great way to make new friends and I wanted to try something that I've never done before. Since I've joined theater it has been so much fun and the people here are wonderful. I'm excited about actually performing since this is my first show and I'm also excited to see everything that we’ve been working on come together. My hobbies are reading, watching tv, playing volleyball, and listening to music. I want to give thanks to my mom and the rest of my family for being behind me 100% with whatever I do no matter what it is and to the directors and cast for being like a second family.
Gabriel Leake (Wikersham Brother)
Hi! Hello there. My name is Gabriel Leake and I am 17 years old. I am in my junior year of high school. I never intended to join theater the way I did. My co-star, Aki Zavala, is actually the one who suggested I come. Even though I was already going to audition, my co-star dragged me to theater. Now I am happily 4 years into this lovely program. Acting and singing have always been a good chunk of my life. I have always wanted to be on tv when I was younger and then on a stage when I found out about Broadway. I joined theater for the first time when I was about 10 in a different program with my art teacher, Miss Sarah Shaw, in Madison, Wisconsin. I was a ensemble character for the musical Mary Poppins. After my first show, I fell in even more love with theater, which prompted me to always want to be a part of a show. The next show I did was The Lion King in 6th grade at Pleasant View Magnet school. I landed the lead role as both older and younger Simba and had a blast with it. The more I did theater the more my interest grew in loving it. 7th grade year was the first year I was in a NOFEB Production. That year they presented The Brothers Grimm Spectacularthon and I played the birds, the guard, Cinderella, Prince Charming, step mother, step sister 1, step sister 2, the announcer and a trumpet player. I actually played all those parts at once. The second show I participated in was Shrek the Musical in which I played Donkey and had a wonderful time becoming the character. It is an experience I will always cherish and remember for the rest of my career as an actor. I was also a part of The Wizard of Oz before it was canceled sadly due to covid. I would’ve played the Tinman. I want to give a big thank you to Miss Sarah Shaw for introducing me to theater and starting me off on my path, my parents and family for supporting my decisions to do theater and other clubs, my directors for giving me an opportunity to put my skills to the test to make this character me, my dear friend Aki for dragging me here with (of course) much love <3, and the multiple people showering me with compliments and advice about acting and singing. Thank you. <3
Carter Woods (Wikersham Brother)
Jonny Pfeifer (Wickersham Brother)
Josilunny Hanna (Bird Girl)
I’m 16 and in the 10th grade. I joined the theater because I thought it would be good to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I have been a stage hand (running spotlight) in Matilda and I played Alice Beineke in The Addams Family. I'm excited to see the show come together and become a show. Other things I do are competitive cheer, girl scouts, and baking. I want to give thanks to the lovely directors (Kinney, Mrs. Outwater, Brandon, Missy, Kate, Ashleigh ,and Aiyana) also my cast members and techies. We couldn’t put the show on without you.
Yaretzi Sanchez (Bird Girl)
Hi my name is Yaretzi Sanchez im 17 and a senior in high school. I always wanted to be a part of something so I joined theater and I also want to thank Aki for dragging me to do theater; it was a good decision. I never really wanted to do a lead role, I liked being in the background mostly because I get to do most of the dancing and singing and I also didn't like being in the lead. I have been one of the 3 piggies in Shrek the Musical, I was one of the three ballerinas in The Wizard of Oz, I was an ancestor in The Addams Family and now I'm a bird girl in Seussical. I enjoy dancing and listening to really loud music. I am so glad that we are doing this show mostly because there is a lot of new upbeat music and dancing and I'm also excited for the costumes that Missy is going to do. I'm thankful for Mrs. Outwater, Mr. Kinney, Anna, Ms. Ashleigh and all the people that helped put this show together.
Nicole Bell (Bird Girl)
Alana Gabriel (Bird Girl)
Elissa Mellhem (Cindy-Lou Who)
Ra'Myiah Lewis-Thompson (Who)
Hey! I'm Ra'Myiah Lewis - Thompson and I am 16 and in the 9th grade. I joined theater because I wanted to try something new. I was always playing sports or at home with my family, but I needed to come out of my shell. Before last year, I had never acted or sung in front of other people. When I came here I found out that I can be myself; it's such a welcoming community and I feel I can truly express myself here. Being here in the theater is so much fun and relaxing. I can get to know other students around my age and act in many different things.
A'mia Jackson (Who)
Chidubem Osakwe (Who)
Hi!! My name is Chidubem Osakwe but most people call me Bem Bem. I’m currently a 14 year old freshman at Eastern High School. This is my first time ever doing theater. At first I was really hesitant to join mostly because I was nervous but my friends/cast mates Alana and Natalie quite literally dragged me into auditions and once I was in it didn’t feel right to leave. These past couple months of theater have been so life changing in the best way possible. I'm very grateful to be part of this program and I can’t wait to see the rest of what it has to offer during the rest of my high school years. I hope you all enjoy the show <333
