Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring, is a farcical dark comedy that tells the story of two charming old ladies with a murderous secret and the antics of their nephews: Teddy, who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt, Jonathan who is on the run from a mental institution, and Mortimer, a theatre critic who is debating marrying the woman he loves while trying to get a handle on his mad relatives.

The Nicholls Players is the theatre organization for Nicholls State University. Every fall and spring, the Nicholls Players performs one main-stage show in the Mary and Al Danos Theater in Talbot Hall.
