The Addams Family Cast

Drew Caton is a senior, and this is his third musical with Newark Catholic. In his previous shows here he has played Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID, and Lionel in CINDERELLA. He has been involved with theatre his entire life, having performed in almost 40 productions total. Some of his favorite roles have been Bert in MARY POPPINS at Weathervane Theatre Academy, and Lord Farquaad in SHREK THE MUSICAL at MTVarts. Drew would like to thank his dad for introducing him to the theatre so early in his life, and his mom for always supporting him throughout the years. He plans to continue with performing, and study musical theatre after he graduates. He is excited for his last musical on the Newark Catholic stage, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Lauren is a senior at Newark Catholic and this is her third production at the school. She is playing the role of Morticia. At school, she is involved in Kairos, Key Club, Student Council, and Liturgical Choir. On her own time, she is a dancer at the Irwin Academy of Irish Dance and enjoys playing trivia with her parents and their friends. After high school, she intends to enroll at a liberal arts college with a major in history. Her favorite drama club memory has been all of the wonderful friendships she has made and how many new things she has learned. Always remember that it's family first, family last, and family by and by. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Elaine Caton is a sophomore who has participated in theater for over 10 years. She has been in shows such as Willy Wonka, The Lightning Thief, and Cinderella. At school, she participates in the Liturgical Choir and Key Club. Elaine is so proud of this cast and the amazing work that they have all put into this production, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Anjelica is a senior at Newark Catholic High School, this is her third production at NC and ninth production overall. In school, Anjelica is involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Liturgical choir, Kairos, football cheer, and of course, the drama department. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, traveling, and shopping. She also dances competitively at Patty’s Dance Center in Newark. After high school, Anjelica plans to major in nursing. She plays the young, charismatic Addams sibling, Pugsley Addams and she is so excited for everyone to see all the hard work the cast and crew have put into “The Addams Family”!!

Emma has always enjoyed theater. She made her first debut in a musical in the eighth grade, playing the role of Charlie in Wonka Jr. Emma is a sophomore and this is her second Newark Catholic high school production. She participated in Cinderella and in the Cabaret as a freshman. Outside of drama Emma is involved in keyclub and Track and Field, where she throws the shot put and discus. She enjoys singing, listening to music, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. Emma is excited to be a part of this production and would like to thank the cast, crew, Miss Gastineau, and Dianne for making this such an amazing experience. She hopes your evening is filled with laughter and you enjoy the show!

Beth Matuska is a senior at Newark Catholic. This is her fifth production at Newark Catholic. She is playing the role of Mal Beineke. Beth is Student Council president, a member of Key Club and National Honors Society, and a competitive dancer and gymnast. She hopes to attend the University of Cincinnati next year to study architectural engineering. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Adriana Scarsella is a sophomore at Newark Catholic and has been in too many shows to count. Over the years her favorite part has been dancing and hanging out with friends. She says this is what makes her happy and the rest is a bonus. In her free time Adriana is a singer for her church, and she also sketches realistic art. Adriana is so excited for this show and hopes that everyone loves the spooky scenes!

Christiana is a sophomore at Newark Catholic, and this her fourth production in total and her second at Newark Catholic. Christiana is involved in volleyball and Key Club here at Newark Catholic. Christiana has enjoyed spending her time with the cast, and loves everyone here, she also loves all the dance parties they’ve had backstage. Christiana hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed working on it.

Jackie Matuska is a senior at Newark Catholic High School. She is the flapper ancestor. She is a competitive dancer at Avante and is also involved in National Liturgical Choir, Honors Society and Student Council. She has had a great time preparing for the show and hopes you enjoy it!

Elin is a sophomore at Newark Catholic. She has participated in 4 plays at St. Francis, and Cinderella at Newark Catholic. She participates in Girls Golf, Key Club, and Student Council at Newark Catholic, and dances at Avante. Elin hopes you enjoy the show!

MacKenzie is a Sophomore at Newark Catholic and this has been her 6th production in total and her second at Newark Catholic. MacKenzie is involved with volleyball, softball, and key club as well. MacKenzie has enjoyed this opportunity to spend time with her friends while doing the thing she loves. MacKenzie hopes you enjoy the show!

Cecilia is a sophomore at Newark Catholic. This is her second production at Newark Catholic with the first being Cinderella. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing instruments, ping-pong, and spending time with family and friends. She is also on the track and cross country team. She hopes you enjoy the show!
